With the development of the IT and internet, companies try to use Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, smart phone for their marketing and customer relationship management. What is called social media marketing appear and it lead to new value creation to the company. However, until now most of libraries in Korea didn't have much interest in marketing and PR. In recent, libraries are starting to be interested in marketing and social network service. Library try to use social network service for marketing. This research introduces the various cases and status of using social network service for marketing in Korea and international library field, analyzes these cases from a marketing perspective. Finally, this research suggests the considerations and successful strategy for using social media marketing in library field.

It's getting popularized to collect information connecting web sites with massive information through the internet and advanced search engines. Users can handle digital materials like E-book wherever the internet is available and they will demand digital information increasingly. This study analyzes literature investigation, statistics analyses of the attached library of Kyushu University, drawings and field investigation to suggest a new model of a library which handles traditional paper-formed materials and digital-formed materials at one place with growing importance of digital materials. It results that a library performs a important role like a learning space and functions as a sociocultural communication space. Also it shows that it is required to basically reinvestigate the role of 'space' in the library with a great importance of digital materials. In the hybrid library combined with subjects and reorganized at one place, One-stop services like library materials and manpower can be provided for users staying at the same area.

The purpose of this study is to review recent academic studies on the service quality evaluation of libraries in Korea and to derive from research trends and several suggestions. This paper compared and analyzed service quality evaluation models in the field of library and information science and management science. This study also conducted comparative analysis of academic journal articles on 'service quality evaluation models of digital libraries'(2002~2007) and 'service quality evaluation of libraries'(2009~2014) in Korea.

This study examined issues of copyright relating to digitization of bibliographic data, copyrighted works, factual data, and manpower's data that the library have. It analyzed issues of copyright relating to the use of digital works and linking. Also It investigated legal issues related information service for user in the library and digital transmission service on need of user out of the library. Finally. this paper proposed basic task for solving issues of copyright in the context of digital libraries.

The survey and interview about the management of e-book and its service scheme to the librarians who are actually charged with e-book service in libraries were performed and analyzed in this study. 신뢰성 향상은 분산 시스템의 기본 목표이며, 이를 위하여 서비스를 제공해 주는 서버 객체의 중복이 불가피 하다. 본 논문에서는 중복과 함께 고려되어야 할 기본적인 사항들을 알아보고, 현재의 시스템들을 CORBA 환경과 CORBA 에 기반하지 않은 환경으로 나누어, 각각의 시스템 환경하에서 신뢰성 있는 분산 어플리케이션의 구현을 제공하기 위해 진행되었던 연구 사례로 Orbix+Isis, Electra와 Chameleon을 소개한다. 또한 디지털 도서관에서 핸들 서비스를 제공하고 있는 핸들 서버의 장애 감내을 위한 장애 감내형 다중화 서버 모델을 제시하고, 이를 제공하기 위한 ILU의 인터페이스를 제시함으로써, 장애 감내형 디지털 도서관 서비스 구조 설계에 관한 연구를 소개한다.

현대정보기술은 최근 국가전자도서관 연결 프로젝트를 완료하고 서비스에 들어갔다. 97년 1차 프로젝트에 이어 추진된 2차 프로젝트는 98년 3월에 시작하여 11월에 구축작업을 마무리하고 지난달 검수 작업을 거쳐 최종 오픈했다. 이번 프로젝트는 초고속정보통신망의 주요 응용서비스로써 학술 및 연구활동에 필요한 정보를 이미 구축된 전자도서관 및 관련기관들과 연예하는 사업이다.

이 연구는 디지털 정보환경에서의 기업체 정보서비스 방법을 모색하는 것이다. 기업체 정보서비스의 이론과 실제를 알아보기 위하여 최근 국내에서 수행된 기업체 정보서비스에 관한 문헌을 조사 분석하고, 기업체에서 채택하고 있는 지식관리시스템을 고찰한다. 인터넷을 비롯한 정보테크놀러지의 이용이 많아지고 있는 정보환경에서 산업기술정보원, 산업지원기관들의 기업체에 대한 정보서비스 방식이 어떻게 변하고 있는지를 알아본다. 메일링리스트에 올라온 개별 기업체의 정보요구를 조사하고 기업체를 위한 정보서비스 방향을 제시한다.

This study aims to investigate the current state of digital literacy education in Korean public libraries and suggest improvements. The education programs were analyzed, which are offered in the National Library of Korea and related social and educational institutions, in order to explore the digital literacy education program required for public libraries. An interview was conducted with 38 librarians of the regional central libraries. Respondents reported that a cooperative program for digital literacy education with national library is essential, due to the lack of the budget and digital literacy resources. Based on the analysis, a model of the National Digital Library Information Literacy Education and the cooperative programs for digital literacy education were proposed.

This study examines basic concepts and characteristics of QuestionPoint, the typical model of Collaborative Digital Reference Service and Global Reference Network, and analyzes the case of Question포인트 service at Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information where the service is initiated first time in Korea by developing Korean interface. 114 reference questions were analyzed, and questionnaires were sent to 63 service users to find out their overall attitudes and degree of satisfaction. Some suggestions were made by discussing the necessity of the enhancement of CDRS and mutual cooperation among Korean libraries.
