An Empirical Study on the Education Effect of Business Simulation Game (경영 모의 게임의 교육 효과에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • Due to the fast development of information technology, a variety of edutainment software has been used in the field of business education. One of them is business simulation game that the business game domain and the information technology is definitely associated. A lot of business simulation game have been developed and used for many courses of colleges and corporate training in USA and EU. However, education program based on business simulation game has not been activated in Korea. This paper examined the education effect of business simulation game. It was found that managers who were educated and trained with business simulation game were very satisfied with a business simulation game. Based on the statistical results, the method of business education using business simulation game was also suggested.

  • Social media marketing should be approached in a different way from traditional media marketing. This study uses a theoritical and empirical method to analyze what impact social media's key elements - provide information, interactivity and playfulness - have on corporate performance and awareness. As a result, the increase in the level of provide information, and the level of interactivity turned out to have positive impact on corporate performance and awareness. To improve the impact of social media on corporate performance, it is better to use it more extensively for customer management and marketing, rather than simply focusing on a specific part of social media. In conclusion, it is important to have a better understanding of the key elements of social media in order to improve corporate performance and image. In a situation where senior firms are increasingly adopting social media, it is increasingly important to have social media-related PR marketing subject included in senior education.

The Corporate Life Cycle and Management Compensation (기업수명주기와 경영자 보상)

  • The purpose of this study investigates the relation between corporate life cycle and management compensation. The analysis is performed by comparing the compensation level and pay-performance-sensitivity (PPS) at each life cycle based on Korean data from 2003 to 2014. The results show that regarding compensation level, mature stage has the highest mean value of compensation and compensation level drops after mature stage. In introduction stage, growth and decline stages, compensation is not sensitive to accounting performance. In a while, in mature stage, management compensation varies with accounting performance more significantly than stock performance. In additional analysis, the results indicate that the finding is not designated from growth opportunities and the relation differs when the firm is included in a conglomerate. These findings contribute to the literature by providing additional evidence to understand for compensation and the corporate life cycle studies.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the consulting firm's professionalism on the business performance of the consulting client firm, the quality of the consulting service quality and the consulting participation of the service company. The purpose of this study is to find out how to improve the quality and participation of consulting firms. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: respondent, empathy, tangibility, certainty, and reliability have a significant influence on the hypothesis that the consulting firm's expertise will affect the management performance through mediating service quality. In addition, it was confirmed that the higher the participation of client firms, the more significant the management performance was. In order to further improve management performance through consulting, active involvement of client firms is suggested. It is believed that studying the characteristics that can increase the participation in the future can lead to meaningful implications.

  • e러닝 산업은 콘텐츠 자체가 목적이 되는 타 디지털콘텐츠 산업과 달리 콘텐츠ㆍ인프라ㆍ서비스 등이 통합되어 지식의 전달ㆍ축적ㆍ재생산의 수단을 제공하는 지식기반 서비스 산업으로 디지털콘텐츠 산업의 주요 핵심으로 등장하게 되었다. WTO 체제하에서 글로벌 경쟁이 심화됨에 따라 기업들은 e러닝을 지식경영을 위한 전략적 모듈로 정하고 계속되는 경기침체에도 불구하고 투자를 지속하고 있다. 또한 2004년이후 WTO의 교육개방정책에 따라 유럽 및 중국 등이 교육시장을 개방하면서 e러닝이 그 대비책의 하나로 대두되면서 세계 각국의 관심이 점점 높아지고 있다.

In the relationship between Knowledge Management and it's consequences, knowledge acquisition and knowledge transfer are positively related with personal and intra-organizational, and inter-organizational effectiveness.

  • This study aims at investigating empirical relationships among technology management capability(TMC), technology commercialization(TC), and technology acquisition strategy(TAS) in SMEs. First, this study identifies the empirical effects of TMC on TC. Second, this study also identifies whether TAS contributes to increasing the effect of TMC on TC or not. The analyses of the data showed TMC was positively related to TC. Second, when technology acquisition strategies were high, the relationships between TMC and TC were highly related.
