  • 2015 개정 교육과정의 적용에 따라 학교 현장에 새로운 요구와 문제 상황이 예상되며, 이에 따라 정보 컴퓨터 교사양성과정도 적절하게 변화될 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 예비 정보교사들이 교육현장의 요구와 문제 상황에 대해 직접 고민하고 해결방법을 구안해보도록 하는 방법으로 캡스톤 디자인을 적용하였다. 이를 위해 현재 운영 중인 캡스톤 디자인 강의의 동향을 살펴보고 교과교육영역의 과목과 다루어야 할 정보교사의 자격기준을 살펴보았으며, 이를 바탕으로 캡스톤 디자인 정보교과 교재연구 강의를 설계하였다. 후속 연구로 설계한 강의를 예비 정보교사들에게 적용하고, 이에 대한 효과성을 검토할 것이다.

  • 이 연구에서는 21세기 정보화 시대의 중요성을 감안하여 창의적 문제해결 프로세스인 디자인 씽킹과 그 첫 번째 단계인 '공감' 단계에 초점을 맞추어 ChatGPT를 페르소나 기법과 결합하여 사용자 이해와 공감을 강화하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 스탠퍼드 D.School의 디자인씽킹프로세스를 기반으로 한 창의적 문제 해결을 강조하고, ChatGPT를 활용하여 페르소나를 개발하고 심층 인터뷰를 통해 사용자를 더 잘 이해하고 공감하는 방법을 탐구한다. 프로그램을 통해 학생들이 실제로 창의인적 문제 해결 능력과 공감 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 하여, 미래를 대비하는 역량을 효과적으로 강화하는 교육 방법을 제시한다.

Development and application of a physical computing program applying design thinking to improve the creativity and computational thinking ability: Focusing on Microbit (창의성과 컴퓨팅 사고력 향상을 위한 디자인 사고 적용 피지컬 컴퓨팅 프로그램 개발 및 적용: 마이크로비트를 중심으로)

  • This study attempted to develop and apply a physical computing SW education program applying design thinking. The produced SW education program was applied to 22 students in the 5th and 6th grades of J and B elementary schools located in Jeju-si. Computational thinking ability and creativity pre-test was conducted, and Physical computing software training applied design thinking was conducted over a total of 5 sessions for 20 hours, followed by a post-test on creativity and computational thinking ability. As a result of the verification, it was found that physical computing SW education program applying design thinking was effective in improving the creativity and computing thinking ability of elementary school students.

New Platform of Orientalism-Based Design Education (동양성 기반의 디자인 교육의 새로운 플랫폼)

  • As the recognition toward the Korean design education development to nurture creative talents for the future society has been expanded recently, various supports and promoting strategies are being suggested. This study suggests the orientalism-based new design education platform in design education field to nurture creative talents. To have the competitiveness of creative talent nurturing, the system and education programs to rear creative talents are required. The purpose of this study is to suggest the new platform for the change of direction in design education and search for the methods in detail. The research process can be described as following: First, this study stated about the research background and its boundary. Based on the literature review and the condition of the crisis of Korean design education (Korean Industrial Statistic Investigation), it described the current condition and the characteristics. Second, this study stated about the education which will be disappeared in the information society, the change of direction in design education, and the new platform. In the current study, the change toward the strategies that give priority to the growth strategies on the knowledge-based industry was stated. Third, this study stated about that the future design education should be centered on the orientalism-based creativity in the trend changing to the six conditions for the future talents and the beliefs and values toward Asia, and what methods should be sought to achieve this trend. It suggested focusing on the aim for the direction for College education and its program curriculums as the solutions in detail. Fourth, based on the contents stated earlier in this study, it stated synthetically the direction of practice through the network of the design cluster and derived the implications. In conclusion, based on the recent orientalism-based mind, this study suggested the ways to find the identity of Korean design education itself and have the competitiveness in design education programs. The ways to secure them is to come from the integrated system innovation of the network. By actively applying the design clusters, colleges and universities, designers, studios, government policy organizations, design institutes, corporates, media, and fairs, this study suggests the sustainable education system and the practical methods.

Development and Verification of User-centered Design Guidelines on Online Support System for Curriculum at primary/secondary schools (초·중등 교육과정 온라인지원시스템의 사용자 중심의 디자인 가이드라인 개발 및 검증)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a design guideline to provide user-friendly experience and convenience for the online support system for the curriculum at primary/secondary schools. To achieve the objective, best practices of overseas on the online support system for curriculum as well as prior research were analyzed. In addition, UX/UI usability problems and needs were derived through a survey of 74 professionals and teachers who are monitoring NCIC and high school credit system sites. Based on the analysis of best practices of overseas and survey results, the draft of the design guideline was derived, and Delphi method was conducted by experts to re- vise the design guidelines and evaluate their validity. This study is meaningful in that it suggests the direction of improvement of the system currently being serviced and the direction of the design of the system to be developed in the future, by providing design guidelines that can be generally applied to online support systems that perform tasks related to the curriculum.

  • The foundation courses of industrial design from Bauhaus to today is, a delivery room of modern industrial design, played an essential role of the image formation in the current German design. In the foundation courses of industrial design that is required in our society, not only the concept gestalt should be understood, approached to industrial design through the integrated meaning of science and culture. In this paper, the historical establishment background of gestalt universities that contributed enormously to the development of German industrial design was analyzed, and then tried to understand the fundamentals of German design education. Also the results of the foundation courses at Bauhaus, Vim university and current German gestalt universities are compared to the products, which illustrates a typical German Image. With this comparison, the importance of the role of the basic design education was recognized, and using the results the necessary direction of the foundation courses in Korean industrial design was presented.

Development of Design thinking-based AI education program (디자인 씽킹 기반 인공지능 교육 프로그램 개발)

  • In this study, the AI education program for elementary school students was developed and applied by introducing the design thinking process, which is attracting attention as a creative problem solving process. A design thinking-based AI education program was developed in the stages of Understanding AI, Identifying sympathetic problems, Problem definition, Ideate, Prototype, Test and sharing, and the development program was applied to elementary school students in 4th-6th grade. As a result of pre- and post-testing of students' computational thinking skills to confirm the effectiveness of the program, computational thinking skills increased by grade level, and students experienced a process of collaboration for creative problem solving based on insights gained from sympathetic problem finding. In addition, it was possible to get a glimpse of the attitude of using AI technology to solve problems, and it was confirmed that ideas were generated in the prototype stage and developed through communication between team members. Through this, the design thinking-based AI education program as one of the AI education for elementary school students guarantees the continuity of learning and confirms the possibility of providing an experience of the creative problem-solving process.

  • The current formal and memorized design repetition training and practice is wandering in the uniform flat design thinking expression. To change these two-dimensional current issues into a three-dimensional design method, set the direction for each grade level under the integrated convergence educational goal and carry out projects step by step to understand design, the principle of spatial composition, the introduction of traditional design history, and the overall design of craft design. Creative and practical skills such as approach should be cultivated. Designers can only be produced through systematic education and training. In order to lead society and succeed, a designer who has experienced solutions and countermeasures on how to adapt themselves to the demands of various changes in the times must come to the field. Education experts insisted on innovation of the organizational structure and subject of the education system, and emphasized the importance of education in response to the rapid pace of change in the 21st century. This study aims to propose an educational system that combines academic research with a structural approach to tasks by setting a project that reflects the needs of society for convergence practice in which design and adjacent disciplines are linked through understanding and analysis of these issues.
