A Semantic Similarity Decision Using Ontology Model Base On New N-ary Relation Design (새로운 N-ary 관계 디자인 기반의 온톨로지 모델을 이용한 문장의미결정)

  • Currently be proceeded a lot of researchers for 'user information demand description' for interface of an information retrieval system or Web search engines, but user information demand description for a natural language form is a difficult situation. These reasons are as they cannot provide the semantic similarity that an information retrieval model can be completely satisfied with variety regarding an information demand expression and semantic relevance for user information description. Therefore, this study using the description logic that is a knowledge representation base of OWL and a vector model-based weight between concept, and to be able to satisfy variety regarding an information demand expression and semantic relevance proposes a decision way for perfect assistances of user information demand description. The experiment results by proposed method, semantic similarity of a polyseme and a synonym showed with excellent performance in decision.

  • This study proposes an information retrieval method reflecting the user's preferences based on the fuzzy set theory to develop information contents which support pedestrian's navigation. Firstly, the research evaluated subjects' preferences on commercial spaces set to a hypothetical destination. Also it surveyed the causal relationship between the visual characteristics and the emotional characteristics to propose methods of Navigation Knowledge Base (NKB). The NKB was composed of three elements; 1. the correlation model between emotional characteristics, 2. the causal relationship between visual characteristics and emotional characteristics, 3. the transformation model between visual characteristics and the physical characteristics. Secondly, this study classified the pedestrian's destination search into 4 types with his or her preferences and the time conditions limited during navigation. For each type it presented the Destination Search Algorithm (DSA). Finally, the research simulated the destination search in 4 navigation types using NKB and DSA and verified the availability of the information retrieval method reflecting pedestrian's preferences. In conclusion, the proposed information search method will be applied to reflect the user's preferences to develop information appliances.

  • This paper discusses the creative capstone design education in Kongju National University and introduce a new operational capstone design education method. The result products are evaluated by self-evaluation and performance assessment that is based on the operational method and procedure of the project. The capstone design teams are comprised of 2~3 students with a individual major accomplishments. All teams are satisfied the criteria of evaluation. And their's self-satisfaction and questionaries are totally 3.88~4.44 point out of 5. Compared with the conduct of previous capstone design project that was not the industry affiliate, it provides students with industrial experience in design and development of industrial solution. And industrial partner must provide funds for student team to design, fabrication and test in next time.

  • This paper introduces a case study on the development of the evaluation system for capstone design course which is usually provided at engineering education program. A capstone design is an engineering education course which aims to improve the students' ability on analysis and design of practical industrial problems by use of overall engineering knowledge which has been learned in undergraduate program. Firstly, this paper provides a literature review on evaluation indices and methods related with a capstone design course. Secondly, the evaluation system for learning outcomes of capstone design course is described. The evaluation system for learning outcomes of capstone design course provided in this paper could be referred by other universities opening a capstone design course, and used to design an evaluation system for internship program or education course which is provided as an industry-academic connection program.

  • In estimating designed architectural buildings, many factors in various design domains such as function, structure, form, environment may be considered and then a building design might be selected or modified as final design. This paper proposed a method to obtain complexity values from two dimensional drawings which are floor plans or elevations. The method has been developed based on information theory, shape pattern representation and cognitive theory. Results of measuring complexity value can make the computer evaluate and select final results produced from automatic design processes by the computer That is to say, aesthetic values based on order and chaos can be measured using complexity values and then some results having superior values can be selected as final result.

The Capstone Design a course with a different format from the traditional form of education and, by integrating the training learned in the course of expertise. Through it, you will learn how to analyze and design solutions to possible problems arising from industry. It can improve the practical skills required in the industry. The students can participate in the educational process according to the pre-prepared curriculum, rather than passively receiving the education in the form of an active. In this paper, we check the operating status for the Capstone Design Education. 편집 디자인의 이해 - 색의 이해와 인쇄

  • 인쇄라는 과정은 다양한 분야로 구성되어 있으며 서로 다른 분야에서 어떤 작업이 이루어지는지 모르는 경우가 대부분이다. 가장 보편적인 출판을 위한 종이 인쇄 과정은 크게 디자인(Design), 프리프레스(Prepress), 프레스(Press), 포스트프레스(Postpress)로 구분할 수 있다. 인쇄 작업과 컴퓨터 기술이 결합하면서, 그 이전에 비하여 훨씬 다양한 색상을 구현할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만, 아직도 인쇄물에서 원하는 색상을 얻지 못하거나 색상 오차가 발생하는 경우가 종종 있다. 이런 사고가 어떤 원인에 의하여 발생하는지, 사고를 미연에 방지하기 위해서는 어떤 지식이 필요한지 알아보고자 한다. 이번 연재에서는 색과 인쇄의 원리에 대해서 알아보겠다.

  • 본 작품은 학생들의 캡스톤디자인 작품이다. 본 작품은 역사적으로 존재했던 공룡에 대한 이해와 생명에 대한 존중을 알리기 위한 앱으로, 단조로움을 피하기 위해 게임형식으로 퀴즈를 풀어 공룡관련지식을 얻을 수 있도록 개발하였다. 따라서 본 앱은 공룡알부터 어미가 되는 일대기를 앱으로 표현하고자 하였으며 알에서부터 성장까지 중간중간에 정답을 맞추게 함으로써 공룡알이 시간에 따라 점점 성장하는 형식으로 꾸며졌다. 본 앱의 타겟 사용자인 유아기 어린이들의 생명에 대한 애정과 책임감을 강조하였고, 오락적인 측면을 합친 교육용 게임 어플리케이션이다.

  • 디지털화된 새로운 패러다임(paradigm)은 교수 미디어에 있어서도 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 과거의 일방적 지식전달방식에서 탈피하여 피교육자 스스로 선택적으로 강의를 찾아다니면서 본인의 능력에 맞도록 수업을 할 수 있으며, 각종 e-Learning 컨텐츠의 활용은 물론 피드백이 가능한 커뮤니케이션을 요구하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 디자인 기술 분야의 교과목에서 도입중인 e-Learning을 중심으로 고려되어야 할 사항 및 효율적인 학습방법과 그 활성화 방안의 한 가지를 제시하였다.
