  • Amidst various efforts which have been made to revive a city, the potential discovery related to the development of public design based on copious cultural heritages is extremely significant. Therefore, in this study, qualitative researches were conducted based on bibliographic data and image materials centered on public design of Theme Park in Daechon-dong, Gwangju Metropolitan City. The case studies verifying the identity of Korean public design through countless numbers of research materials. However, it's necessary to pay attention to a common fact because it's essential to find the national legitimacy and regional identity by tiding over problems in standardized urban development through well-designed development plan for history, living and economy bloc among the regional traditional cultural assets while rejecting the meaning in an excessively broad sense. The spaces assigned with significance are cultural contents embedded with cultural original form of the region and there is room for creative development in order to generate city brand value and to activate the space. This study is significant in that the spatial interpretation of Daechon-dong's Theme Park and the methodology of semiotic spatial planning can not only be applied but also in that this study has demonstrated positive effects on space.

Spray Visualization Using Laser Diagnostics (레이저를 이용한 분무 가시화)

  • 분무를 정량적으로 측정하는 것은 노즐의 설계와 개발을 위해서 뿐만 아니라 연소 시스템 전반의 효율 및 불안정성의 제거, 공해 저감 등의 요구 조건을 만족하기 위해서 중요하다. 이를 위해 이전에는 분무장 내에 수집관을 삽입하는 기계적 패터네이터(Mechanical Patternator)와 같은 삽입식 측정 방식을 이용하여 왔으나, 최근에는 고속카메라, Malvern particle analyzer, PDPA, 광학 패터네이터(Optical Patternator)와 같은 분무장을 교란시키지 않으면서도 빠른 측정이 가능한 가시화 기술들이 적용되고 있다. 특히 광학 패터네이터는 레이저 평면광을 이용하여 분무를 측정하는 비삽입식 기술로 단시간 내에 분무장 내 액체 연료의 질량 및 액적 크기의 단면 분포를 동시에 얻어낼 수 있는 장점을 갖고 있다. 그러나 분무 액적들의 수밀도가 증가하는 경우에는 이들 액적에 의한 입사광 및 신호 감쇠, 다중산란 등에 의한 오차가 심하게 발생하여, 기존의 PDPA, PLIF 등의 광학 기법으로는 충분히 신뢰할 만한 결과를 얻기가 어렵게 된다. 이러한 분무를 정량적으로 측정하기 위해서는 입사광의 감쇠뿐만 아니라 분무장 내 액적들에 의한 신호의 감쇠 과정에 대한 고려가 필요하다. 주면 액적들의 영향을 최소한으로 줄이기 위해서는 레이저 평면광을 사용하는 광학 패터네이터와 달리 레이저 광선을 분무장에 조사하여 고압에서 나타날 수 있는 다중 산란에 의한 오차를 최소화할 수 있다. 이러한 이미지 처리 기법을 이용하는 광학 선형 패터네이터(Optical Line Patternator)를 이용하여 기존 레이저 계측기법으로 측정이 곤란하였던 고압 환경 하에서의 스월 동축형 인젝터의 분무 특성을 해석할 수가 있다. 2015(년도) 6,388, 2025(년도) 13,367, 2035(년도) 18,756, 2045(년도) 22,595, 시장점유율 증가로 인한 수출액 증가분 누적(억원) : 2015(년도) 3,411, 2025(년도) 8,847, 2035(년도) 14,433, 2045(년도) 18,005 또한 시나리오 비교평가를 실시하여 본 결과, 본 연구에서 정의한 순편익 누적(Cumulative Net Profit) 변수를 적용하면 현재 연구비 추세 대비 $30\%$ 까지 연구비를 증가 시키는 것이 효율적임을 알 수 있었다.성, 생산 용이성, 제품 디자인의 우수한 정도가 a=0.01 수준 하에서 유의적으로 추정되었다. 이들 변수들 중에서 품질경쟁력에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 측정변수는 제품의 기본 성능, 수명(내구성), 신뢰성, 제품 디자인의 순서로 추정되었다. 이것은 한국 제조업이 아직 산업 디자인이 품질경쟁력에 크게 영향을 미치는 성숙단계에 이르지 못하였음을 의미한다. (2) 제품 디자인에게 영향을 끼치는 유의적인 변수는 연구개발력, 연구개발투자 수준, 혁신활동 수준(5S, TPM, 6Sigma 운동, QC 등)이며, 제품 디자인은 우선 품질경쟁력을 높여 간접적으로 고객만족과 고객 충성을 유발하는 것으로 추정되었다. 상기의 분석결과로부터, 본 연구는 다음과 같은 정책적 함의를 도출하였다. 첫째, 신상품 개발과 혁신을 위한 포괄적인 연구개발 프로젝트를 품질 경쟁력의 주요 결정요인(제품의 기본성능, 신뢰성, 수명(내구성) 및 제품 디자인)과 연계하여 추진해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 기업은 디자인 경영 마인드 제고와 디자인 전문인력 양성을, 대학은 디자인 현장 업무를 통하여 창의력 증진과 기획 및 마케팅 능력 교육을, 정부는 디자

  • Korean traditional alcohol's growth gets declined after Makgeolli's boom and it's time to enter the takeoff stage using cup based on the characteristics of each alcohols in order to their globalization and quality improvement. For now, there are 3 features of Korean traditional alcohol's cup design development; subdivision, quality improvement, systematization. However, there's no product design case that reflect the characteristics of the alcohol from the planning phase. Therefore, it needs to establish process technology for storytelling and emotion based cup design. This research aims to extract the specification for cup design and to find out the visualization element of cup's shape and material by studying 5 senses and traditional alcohol's objective informations. Through the study, the elements that can maximize the specific traditional alcohol's marketability: cup's label, pattern, decorative element based on the storytelling like history and tale were found. As a result, those result can give a new export strategy by developing competitive design that has emotional element and storytelling from the traditional alcohol's characteristics in a situation of stagnant export of the small sized home-brewed liquor business.

Fashion Color Planning Using Dyeing with Jeju Natural Resources (제주 천연자원의 염색을 활용한 패션 색채기획)

  • This study was aimed to characterize the color of cotton fabric dyed with three different natural resources such as persimmon, citrus, and brown algae and to propose new trend color themes for fashion color planning for newborn and toddler wear. A variety of color shades by dyeing cotton fabric with persimmon, citrus, and brown algae respectively was obtained and each color was also determined if it could be matched with one of Pantone TPX considering authorized color trends for 2016 Spring/Summer. Finally a group of new trend color theme for 2016S/S newborn and toddler wear were proposed for naturally dyed cotton fabric. As results, the three natural dyeing resources gave color gamut with hue ranging from Purple Blue to Green Yellow and with tones including pale, light grayish, soft, grayish, and dull by their single and compound dyeing. A total of 23 colors matched to Pantone TPX were considered for the fashion color planning by natural dyeing. The selected natural colors were grouped as three different color ways and thereafter the color ways were differentiated in terms of representative color sensibility by using subjective evaluation. Finally three characterized color themes were proposed as 'Serenity', 'Juicy', and 'Fancy', each of which has tried to express differentiated feeling of each natural resources for dyeing, to follow up to global color trends, and to contribute to newborn and toddler wear's own requirements and marketability. These results suggest that natural dyeing colors could be applied into fashion color planning in current fashion industries in order to produce more sensible and emotional design of fashion goods using natural dyeing.

  • As a competition of the internet shopping mall is getting worse, the manager of the internet shopping mall has to know about the internet shoppers. To know about the internet shoppers is an important and difficult task. Accordingly, this paper is designed to take a look at the direction and the patterns of the development of new products as well as changes in the needs of clients in the concepts of client-satisfaction administration executed in the administration of enterprises. In order to outlive from these economic situation and struggle for existence, we are in need of detailed strategies and service for only a customer, and differential goods from other items. The purpose of this study was to review the gap between the progress of individualization and consumrirs' expectations on the Internet shopping malls centering around the apparel shopping malls - which are most obliged to satisfy the consumers who are extremely individualized - and thereupon, explore the directions for development of on-line shopping mall designs.

  • The designer get through a doorstep of ideation to obtain a design concept, which consequently achieves the successful design. However, the ideation with creativeness may not always be given as much as an effort is made. It is readily recognized as the ideation released is naturally limited to a resonable and logical frame structure. Conversely, the successful ideation can be obtained through illogical thought given in a while. The thinking method suggested in effect preview can thus satisfy the demand of lateral thinking, which can lead to the creativeness as a thinking model as well as amenably advertising concept in a final step of advertising plan. Finally, it is concluded that from the brain function theory, the unique role of each side of brain can not practically influence on an art work performance successfully achieved.

  • Product opportunity analysis in product planning is to analyze the feasibility for success over the detail product concept, and to grasp the new possible market based on exploring the trends of market and product itself. Therefore, the correct analysis and insight with various data of product and market is needed for product opportunity analysis. As product environment changes rapidly, it is especially important to collect more plentiful informations, and to put these information to practical use pertinently. It is consequently indispensible to clarify the types of information to be needed and to construct product database. However, there has no meaning to gather simple information which is lying here and there. Product database has to be systematically organized and each product information is to be transformed into contextual one. This study clarifies a conceptual framework of product design database based on product attributes and develops prototype of product database for product planning. Case study of camera is exemplified for analyzing the product trends and exploring product opportunity with developed product database.

  • Local governments have been actively introducing the characters, which identity their regional features and publicize the governments, to increase municipal identity and encourage the participation of residents since the self-governing system was enforced in 1996. Some characters of local governments, however, were not often developed systematically and did not perform the intended purposes. This study reviewed general theories related to the general and municipal characters. Currently employed municipal characters were analyzed in various perspectives : problems of the characters were presented mixed use of terms for the symbol, selection of not creative materials. In addition, unsystematic planing and indifference of residents were revealed. This study could be utilized to shape design policy and applied to develop the municipal characters illustrating the proper regional characteristics and performing practical function.

  • The expression of natural backgrounds in a digital clip such as forest, water and sky break new ground and evolve. The process of arriving at a certain background style and designing belongs to the pre-production stage of animation produuction. Due to the advancement of CG technology, the production and consumption of animation has accelerated and so in an effort to reduce production time, the natural background has increasingly becomme normalised. For the distinction in contents, narrative and characters are emphasized in pre-production since it is believed that the background design will simply be a still image. However, there is a need to focus on background design as it is a tool that can effectively emphasize the narrative. This research is an analysis of the background design's role in forest background in productions such as "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"(1951) and "Princess Mononoke"(1997). It details how appropriate each background forest was for the artist's intent using the 7 types of forest landscapes according to dendrology.

  • This study investigates Active Learning and Facilitation Convergence Education Program which can improve core competency to cope with vocational education in the fourth industrial revolution era. I applied the integrated advantages of Active Learning which enhances 'problem solving skill' and those of Facilitation for creative thinking idea to application design process coursework and verified the effectiveness of such education method through student satisfaction survey. I also designed application contents for the students who are familiar with the mobile environments and UI contents for data visualization which can help those students to improve their skills in software. Every coursework was conducted as a team project. As a result, Active Learning and Facilitation Convergence Education Program is found to be helpful in improving the basic skills and competencies required in college education. I hope this work helps to reduce the educational gap between industry and professional colleges.
