  • This paper deals with the characteristic analysis of permanent magnet linear oscillatory motor (LOM). The back EMF and airgap flux density was calculated by Equivalent Magnetic Circuit (EMC) method, it can be computing times less than the finite element method (FEM). In addition, analysis results obtained by proposed EMC are validated by comparison with those by Finite Element Method.

  • This paper presents an analysis method for a permanent magnet excited Transverse Flux Linear Motor (TFLM) with spiral core in a mover. The spiral core is used as mover core in order to make 3-dimensional magnetic flux path at the TFLM which has 3-dimensional magnetic flux flow. Magnetic field is analyzed by three-dimensional Equivalent Magnetic Circuit Network (EMCN) method. And an imaginary part, 'flux barrier,' is introduced to consider the spiral core characteristic. The computed thrust forces is compared to the measured results to show the effect of presented analysis method.

  • The resolution of analog sensor is determined by its sensitivity and amplitude of noise. This paper presents modeling of inductive gap sensor base on equivalent magnetic circuit and analysis of sensitivity. We can simulate static characteristic of inductive gap sensor using this model. Computer simulation show that sensor's sensitivity is affected by magnetic flux's leakage and fringing, and that they are affected by shape of sensor probe. Base on this, we designed shape of inductive position sensor probe.

  • This paper presents design of the linear propulsion system of a high-speed (200km/h) dynamic tester for catenary-current collection. Among various propulsion systems, a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor is chosen for need of high acceleration force. The design is performed by the equivalent magnetic circuit method and verified by the finite element method. In addition, analysis of the main effects of various design variables for performance of the propulsion system has been done by using simulation-based DOE method.

  • In this paper, system equation of the magnetic equivalent circuit of the induction motor be consist of the magnetomotive force transformation matrix and the flux transformation matrix. The system equation is fed by three phase sinusoidal current and get to magnetomotive force on the teeth. This study confirmed the time and spatial distribution of the magnetomotive force on the teeth created by the winding.

  • A computational method for the 3 dimensional electro-magnetic induction problems has been developed. The proposed method is capable of modeling the eddy current and analyzing its characteristics using only scalar potential. A benchmark model of asymmetrical conductor with a hole is analyzed to verify the application of the developed method. The calculated value of magnetic flux density are compared with the measured value, and the results indicate that the developed method is valid.

  • 본 논문은 LCD 생산라인의 물류 자동화 시스템 중 컨베이어와 같은 선형 이송시스템에 적용이 가능한 영구자석 여자 횡자속 선형전동기 개발에 관한 내용이다. 3차원 등가 자기 회로망법을 이용한 해석과 3축 Load Cell을 이용한 정특성 실험을 통해 횡자속 선형전동기의 특성을 비교, 분석하여 물류 이송이 가능한 횡자속 선형전동기 추진모듈의 사양을 결정하였고, 시작품을 설계, 제작하여 컨베이어 시스템 등의 이송시스템에 적용 가능성 및 그 타당성을 검토하였다.

  • 선형전동기는 위치 및 속도 제어기구로 빠른 속도와 강한 추력 정확한 위치 제어가 가능하다. 선형전동기의 성능 향상 및 소형화를 위해서는 추력의 최대화가 요구되는데, 일반적으로 추력을 계산하는 방법으로 유한요소법, 등가자기회로망법 등이 있다. 본 연구에서는 유한요소법을 이용하여 정자장 해석인 정특성과 과도해석인 동특성을 분석하였다. 향후 정특성과 동특성의 결과를 통해서 시제품의 실험결과와 비교 분석하여 동특성해석에 대한 검증을 수행할 것이다.

  • In this paper, the construction elements of the induction motor was represented by the magnetic tube. The magnetic tube is basis of the magnetic equivalent circuit. The magnetic equivalent circuit method is convenient of complicated analysis of the transient state of the induction motor. Because the method is restriction on only one direction of magnetic flux. Air gap magnetomotive force was calculated by magnetic equivalent circuit method. Starting transient torque and phase current of the induction motor was confirmed by the theoretical calculation and the experiments.
