  • 본 논문에서는 3차원 웨이블릿 부호화 방식으로 압축된 영상 시퀸스를 정칙화 기반 영상복원 방법으로 후처리하는 알고리듬을 제안한다. 우선, 웨이블릿 압축 시스템을 적절한 영상 열화 시스템으로 모델화한다. 그리고, 시간축에 관하여 프레임 간의 같은 위치에 있는 각 픽셀에 대하여 복원을 수행한다. 그 다음으로 2차원 영상 신호에 대하여 복원을 수행하는데. 즉 웨이블릿 변환 계수 정보를 이용하여 영상 및 시간 정보를 여러 스케일의 에지로 분류한 다음, 에지의 방향에 따른 적응적인 제약조건을 사용한다. 이는 각각의 에지 방향에 적합한 고주파 성분을 유지하고, 신호의 각 특성에 적합한 적응적인 정칙화 매개변수를 적용한다. 마지막으로 시간 축에서의 복원과 그것에 이어지는 적응적인 공간 복원에 대한 실험 결과를 보여준다.

Characteristics of Leakage and Rotordynamic Coefficients for Annular Seal with Multi-Land (이종 표면을 갖는 실의 특성해석)

  • An honeycomb/smooth land seal alternating with the honeycomb seal is suggested for structural enhancement in high pressure turbomachinery. Governing equations are derived for an honeycomb/smooth land annular gas seal based on Hirs' lubrication theory and Moody's friction factor model for smooth land and empirical friction factor model for honeycomb land. By using a perturbation analysis and a numerical integration method, the governing equations are solved to yield leakage and the corresponding dynamic coefficients developed by the seal. Theoretical results show that leakage is increasing and rotordynamic stability is decreasing as increasing the length of smooth land part in the honeycomb/smooth land seal.

  • The effects of the statistical properties of the Coulomb friction coefficients on the dynamic responses of a galloping quadruped robot are investigated in this paper. In general, the Coulomb friction coefficients are assumed to be deterministic for a controller design to achieve required motion characteristics. However, the friction coefficients between the ground and the robot legs are not constant in reality. Therefore, statistical characteristics of the friction coefficients need to be considered for a multi-body modeling of the robot galloping on the ground. The effects of the statistical properties on the dynamic responses of the quadruped robots are investigated.

  • Numerical analysis is performed to find flow and heat transfer characteristics for ring type heat exchanger. 3-D numerical predictions are carried out for the ring type heat exchanger system with Reynolds number varying in the range of 1,000 and 10,000. From the prediction, streamwise velocity, pressure drop, flow rate and heat transfer coefficient are analyzed. It is also found that characteristics of pressure drop and heat transfer generally follow well proportional variations of Re$m^$for the wide range of Reynolds number considered in this study.

  • 회전체의 자동밸런싱을 위하여 고안된 자기보상 동적균형기는 홈이파인 원판에 강구와 저점성유체를 지닌 구조체이다. 유도된 운동방정식으로 부터 자기보상 동적균형기의 작동조건을 조사하기 우하여 수치해석을 통한 동 특성을 검토하였다. 수치해석의 결과에 근거하여 임계속도보다 높은 범위에서는 자기보상 동적균형기는 정상작동을 보여주었다. 임계속도에서는 회전계의 균형이 강구와 점성유체와의 감쇠계수에 의존하였으나 임계속도보다 낮은 범위에서는 어떠한 조건에 대해서도 작동하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 자동차 및 항공기에도 응용가은한 자기보상 동적균형기의 작동조건들을 본 논문에서 예시하였다.

  • The dynamic properties of short-fiber reinforced Chloroprene rubber for vibration isolators have been studied as functions of interphase conditions and fiber content. The loss factor showed the maximum at strain amplitude 2%, and increased 0.09 for matrix, 0.05 for reinforced rubber with increasing frequency respectively. The dynamic ratio rapidly decreased with increasing strain amplitude, and some increased with increasing frequency. The better interphase condition showed the lower dynamic ratio. Therefore, the short-fiber reinforced rubber could have the better isolation in frequency ratio(${\sqrt{2}}min$.) compared to frequency ratio(${\sqrt{2}}max$.). And we have investigate the possibility of applying short-fiber reinforced rubber to automotive engine mount.

  • The mobility of sulfate in soils defends on several factors including redox potential, soil mineralogy, pH, and the presence of other anions that compete for sorption sites with sulfate. The proposed model of adsorption mechanism for sulfate postulated that reaction is between anions in solution and charged surfaces of soil particles. With appropriate choice of parameters obtained from the adsorption-desorption experiments, the equation of transport model adapt an empirical approach, capable of handling most general equilibrium adsorption isotherms, suitable for multispecies systems.

Behavior of High-Speed Rail Roadbed Reinforced by Geogrid under Cyclic Loading (지오그리드로 보강한 고속철도 노반의 거동 특성)

  • The general concept of reinforced roadbed in the high-speed railway is to cope with the soft ground for the bearing capacity and settlement of foundation soil. The cyclic plate load tests were performed to determine the behavior of reinforced ground with multiple layers of geogrid underlying by soft soil. With the test results, the bearing capacity ratio, elastic rebound ratio, subgrade modulus and the strain of geogrids under loading were investigated. Based on these plate load tests, laboratory model tests under cyclic loading were conducted to estimate the effect of geogrid reinforcement in particular for the high-speed rail roadbed. The permanent settlement and the behavior of earth pressure in reinforced roadbed subjected to a combination of static and dynamic loading are presented.

  • In this study, the effects of residual shaft bow and flexible bearings of a single disk rotor are investigated. The stiffness coefficients of a shaft with initial deflection are different from those of a straight shaft. The stiffness coefficients are calculated using Castigliano theorem considering initial deflections. The stiffness coefficients, which are obtained in this study, are in good agreement with FEM results. The speed which causes zero amplitude is shown to be the square root of the ratio of residual bow amplitude to unbalance eccentricity in the case of rigid bearings and isotropic flexible bearings, but not in anisotropic bearings.
