  • With the emergence of the Internet-of-Things (IoT) paradigm, there is a growing demand for personalized services using IoT contexts acquired from heterogeneous IoT devices. However, due to the mismatch between IoT context exchange schemes of context-aware services and IoT devices, IoT applications can acquire IoT contexts only from IoT devices that support the same IoT context exchange schemes. In this paper, we propose dynamic methods to mediate those mismatches on the IoT context exchange schemes. With the proposed mediation methods, context-aware services can collect IoT contexts from heterogeneous IoT devices without considering their IoT context exchange schemes.

  • In Internet of Things (IoT) environments, users are required to search for IoT devices necessary to access services for accomplishing their tasks. As IoT technologies advance, a user task will utilize various types of IoT-based services that are deployed in an IoT environment. Therefore, to accomplish a user task effectively, the services that utilize IoT devices need to be found in a certain geographical region. In addition, the service discovery needs to be accomplished in a stable manner while considering dynamically changing IoT environments. To deal with these issues, we propose two service discovery methods that consider geographic cohesiveness of services in IoT environments. We compare the effectiveness of the proposed methods against a traditional service discovery algorithm that does not consider geographic cohesiveness.

  • With the emergence of Internet-of-Things (IoT) computing, it has become possible to acquire users' health-related contexts from various IoT devices and to diagnose their biological aging through analysis of the IoT health contexts. However, previous work on methods of aging diagnosis used a fixed list of aging diagnosis factors, making it difficult to handle the variability of users' IoT health contexts and to dynamically adapt the addition and deletion of aging diagnosis factors. This paper proposes a design and methods for a dynamically adaptable aging diagnosis framework that acquires a set of IoT health contexts from various IoT devices based on a set of aging diagnosis factors of the user. By using the proposed aging diagnosis framework, aging diagnosis methods can be applied without considering the variability of IoT health contexts and aging diagnosis factors can be dynamically added and deleted.

  • Recently, according to era of Internet of Things was opened, various mobile devices connected to the internet using wireless communication. Many IoT devices have limited communication performance. Thus, these devices efficiently forward data using an abbreviated ID method. However, movement of devices causes abbreviated ID confliction, and These conflict degraded network performance. Therefore it is important management of ID conflict. In this paper, we proposed an abbreviated ID conflict management method to improve the efficiency of communication in the dynamic IoT network.

  • With the development of the Internet of Things technology, new devices are being developed and used to provide various applications and services. Most IoT devices have a high probability of error because they operate in harsh environments with limited resources. In addition, it is necessary to manage the Internet of Things devices dynamically because new devices are constantly deployed. In this paper, we design a system that allows users to monitor the mounting of new devices to perform the necessary tasks and implement prototypes to validate their operability. Our system also provides a web-based programming interface to direct work on new modules and share work content with each other.

  • Following the advanced fuel cycle initiative (AFCI) promotions in the United States, the analytic proposition for global fuel cycle initiative (GFCI) has been investigated using dynamical simulations. The political and economic aspects are considered simultaneously due to the particular characteristics of the nuclear materials. The spent nuclear fuels (SNFs) are treated as the reprocessing by the nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT) exemption nations and the NPT excluded nations. Otherwise, the pyroprocessing and repository can be done without NPT restriction. In addition, the international trade is considered as the economic aspect where the energy production is a key issue of the GFCI. The dynamical simulations have been done until 2050. The result of the International Trade shows the gradually increasing shape. Additionally, the Nuclear Power Plant Operation shows the increasing by stepwise shape.

  • In this paper, we studied projection mapping, which is being utilized as a digital canvas beyond space and time for theme parks, mega events, and exhibition performances. Since the existing projection technology used for fixed objects has the limitation that it is difficult to map moving objects in terms of utilization, it is urgent to develop a technology that can track and map moving objects and a real-time dynamic projection mapping system based on dynamically moving objects so that it can respond to various markets such as performances, exhibitions, and theme parks. In this paper, we propose a system that can track real-time objects in real time and eliminate the delay phenomenon by developing hardware and performing high-speed image processing. Specifically, we develop a real-time object image analysis and projection focusing control unit, an integrated operating system for a real-time object tracking system, and an image processing library for projection mapping. This research is expected to have a wide range of applications in the technology-intensive industry that utilizes real-time vision machine-based detection technology, as well as in the industry where cutting-edge science and technology are converged and produced.

  • RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)은 RF주파수를 이용해서 사물이나 사람의 정보를 인식하는 자동인식 기술이다.
