This study investigated the effect of circle activities about disabilities on preservice early childhood teachers' mainstreaming attitudes, teaching efficacy and teaching performance. Subjects were 40 preservice early childhood female teachers(20 each in the experimental and control groups). Experimental group circles met weekly for 4 hours over 24 weeks. Circle activities included viewing and discussing films and readings about disabilities, and observation and participation in mainstreaming classrooms of kindergartens and child welfare centers. Results were that the experimental group preservice teachers' attitudes and efficacy toward mainstreaming were positive in comparison with those of the control group. Experimental group preservice teachers' mainstreaming teaching performance improved by comparison with the control group.

This study assumes alternative character of the operation of mathematical club in middle school. The case that operated the voluntary mathematics club for one year was analyzed and the educational effect was considered. First, the examination instrument for choosing the members of mathematics club was developed and used. And, diverse teaching and learning materials for improving creativity and mathematical ability of the members were used. Second, the difference of learning result between the experiment group and control one who joined the activities of mathematics club was analyzed. Finally, mathematical club activity based on mathematics history appeared to be effective in improving academic achievement and mathematics exploration activity.

조직이나 기업에서 높은 수준의 직무 성과는 뛰어난 지적 능력과 더불어 다른 요소들의 영향에 의해 결정된다고 광범위하게 인식되고 있다. 따라서 인사선발시 인지적인 능력뿐만이 아니라 성격과 같은 비인지적 능력을 평가하는 시도가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 이를 실증적으로 검증하고자 수행되었다. 즉, 본 연구에서는 서울지역에서 재학 중인 대학생 (n=260) 을 대상으로 하여 인지적 능력은 입학성적으로, 비인적 능력은 Big Five 성격 특성으로, 직무성과는 학업성과(예, 학업평점, 대학 및 학과에 대한 만족도, 동아리 활동, 등) 로 각각 측정하여 이들의 관계성을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 인지적 능력과 더불어 Big Five 성격 특성 중 성실성과 개방성이 다양한 학업성과와 상관관계를 보여주었다. 본 연구는 추가적으로, 학업성과 중 동아리 활동이 대학생활의 만족도와 상관관계가 있음을 보여주고 있다. 이러한 결과는 인사선발 과정에서 지원자의 잠재적 직무성과를 예측할 때 지적 능력 같은 인지적 측면뿐만이 아니라 성격과 같은 비인지적 측면을 동시에 고려해야 한다는 실무적 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

This paper has been written to apply the lessons of this course through a 5-dimension education curriculum from BELL International Academy, an alternative school. By integration a 5-dimension education in the school, teachers may be able to have an impact on their students, A robot club in a 5-dimension educated school migh help motivate students to take the necessary steps to accomplish their goals.

정부는 이미 차세대 성장동력 10대 과제로 디지털콘텐츠 산업을 선정, 2007년까지 세계 5대 디지털콘텐츠 강국으로 부강하겠다는 야심찬 포부를 밝혔다. 2003년 627억달러의 세계시장 규모에서 2007년 1,267억달러, 2012년 2,563억달러로 급증할 것으로 예상되면서 정부는 디지털콘텐츠 관련 분야를 집중 육성하겠다고 선언한 바 있다. 디지털콘텐츠 강국이 되기 위해서는‘사람이 경쟁력’이라는 것에 누구나 동의하고 있다. 디지털 지식경제사회가 진전할수록 뛰어난 한 사람이 평범한 1만명을 먹여 살리는 구조가 정착되고 있다. 이에 본지는‘사람’의 중요성을 일깨우고자 대학 · 기업 · 연구소 등 각계각층의 인력현황과 구조적 문제점, 그리고 나아갈 방향 등을 제시하는‘사람이 경쟁력이다’라는 주제로 지난 1월호부터 기획 연재를 진행하고 있다. 이번호에는 국내 대학에서 디지털콘텐츠 관련 동아리를 통해 꿈을 펼치고 있는 학생들을 소개한다.
