Measurement and Analysis of Wind Response of InCheon Bridge (인천대교의 풍응답 계측 및 분석)

  • 장대 케이블 교량의 풍응답을 계측할 수 있는 무선센서네트워크 기반의 풍응답 계측시스템을 개발하고, 이를 사용하여 인천대교의 시공단계별로 고유진동수, Mode Shape과 같은 Modal Parameters의 변화를 추정하고 보강형에서의 풍압분포와 보강형, 주탑, 케이블의 가속도를 계측하여 내풍 성능을 분석하였다. 개발된 계측 시스템은 인천대교 사장교의 전체 거동을 계측할 수 있도록, 1.5km 범위에 넓게 분포된 최대 55 Nodes에서 최대 1kHz의 동기화된 계측을 수행할 수 있으며, 각 Node별로 3축가속도나 풍압을 측정할 수 있다. 전체 Node에서 가속도를 계측하는 경우에는 최대 165 Channel을 1kHz로 측정할 수 있다. Modal 해석의 경우에, 고가교, 접속교, 사장교 주탑, 보강형, 케이블의 시공 단계별 동특성의 변화를 추정하였으며, 고가교에서는 모드해석을 통해 역추정한 구조계수를 정적재하실험 및 실험실에서의 Mold 시험결과와 비교하였으며 사장교 케이블에서는 케이블 댐퍼의 성능을 분석하였다. 또한 인천대교 보강형에서의 풍압분포를 계측하였으며, 풍압의 공간상관관계를 분석하였고, 풍하중 및 풍진동 특성을 분석하여 가속도 계측 결과와 비교하였다. 계측 및 분석 결과를 바탕으로 장대교량의 내풍성능을 확보하고 향상시키는데 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • FMCW radar, which is widely used as a front collision warning system for vehicles, is now being commercialized. In this study we develope the radar signal processing system using MPC5775K that is specialized for high performance ADAS. That has special features for ADAS such as 10Msps 12bit ADC, 50MHz Radix-4 FFT, CTE(Cross Triggering Engine) for synchronized triggering between DAC and ADC. The baseband processing board is implemented and shows the result in Matlab.

  • In this paper, a mobile robot capable of remote control is designed in consideration of the user's various work environments. Specifically, a mobile remote work robot that moves in a predetermined direction and can perform a series of tasks in synchronization with the user's hand movements, and a control system and control method for controlling the robot were proposed. It was implemented using a robot hand and a wheel for movement to assist in tasks such as transporting dangerous goods or heavy goods. In order to evaluate the performance of the developed robot, the maximum weight that can be carried by the robot hand and the movable inclination of the robot were tested, and the test evaluation results satisfied most of the targeted design specifications.

  • In recent days low cost, high performance microprocessors have led to construction of medium scale shared memory multiprocessor systems with shared bus. Such multiprocessor systems are heavily influenced by the structures of memory systems and memory systems become more important factor in design space as microprocessors are getting faster. Even though local cache memories are very common for such systems, the latency on access to the shared memory limits throughput and scalability. There have been many researches on the memory structure for multiprocessor systems. In this paper, an asynchronous memory architecture is proposed to utilize the bandwith of system bus effectively as well as to provide flexibility of implementation. The effect of the proposed architecture if shown by simulation. We choose, as our model of the shared bus is HiPi+Bus which is designed by ETRI to meet the requirements of the High-Speed Midrange Computer System. The simulation is done by using Verilog hardware decription language. With this simulation, it is explored that the proposed asynchronous memory architecture keeps the utilization of system bus low enough to provide better throughput and scalibility. The implementation trade-offs are also described in this paper. The asynchronous memory is implemented and tested under the prototype testing environment by using test program. This intensive test has validated the operation of the proposed architecture.

  • This paper describes the construction of a static 3D ultrasonography image by tracking the radiation beam position during the handy operation of a 1D array probe to enable point-of-care use. The theoretical model of the transformation from the translational and rotational information of the sensor mounted on the probe to the reference Cartesian coordinate system was given. The signal amplification and serial communication interface module was made using a commercially available sensor. A test phantom was also made using silicone putty in a donut shape. During the movement of the hand-held probe, B-mode movie and sensor signals were recorded. B-mode images were periodically selected from the movie, and the gray levels of the pixels for each image were converted to the gray levels of 3D voxels. 3D and 2D images of arbitrary cross-section of the B-mode type were also constructed from the voxel data, and agreed well with the shape of the test phantom.

  • In this study, the minimized on-board computer (OBC) module for integrated navigation is developed, which provides satellites' relative position information in formation flying and cluster operation situations. The scalability is considered to apply the user-selected wireless communication module and Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver for navigation, while considering to meet the structural design standard of nano-satellites. As a result of the product development and production, the processing speed of integrated navigation and real-time data synchronization is satisfied for cluster operation nano-satellites by using micro controller unit (MCU). From a heat/vacuum, vibration and radiation test, the OBC was confirmed to be operated in space environments. From these results, a mass production system of OBC was made which is a key part of development on satellite formation flying and cluster/constellation missions that the community demands are increasing.

The Change of perception according to the fidelity of simulation in Objective Structured Clinical Examination for Procedural Skill of 4th Medical Students (의전원 4학년 학생의 과정기술 객관구조화진료시험에 도입된 시뮬레이션의 충실도에 따른 인식 변화)

  • The 4th year medical students were randomly divided and designated as group HF and LF, representing high and low fidelity simulations respectfully. Both groups performed OSCE on 2 topics(adult intubation and IV cannulation) with each composed of the same scenario. Each scenario was developed by a faculty in charge of clinical skill education with supervision from 2 other faculty members. High fidelity simulations were designed as in-situ simulations in real OR. Low fidelity simulations had the same scenarios but the environment was simulated only with a simple task trainer in the classroom. All students participated in series of survey using a Likert scale before and after the simulations. The provided data was anlayzed with paired T-test and Mann-Whiteney test(p<0.05). The post simulations self evaluation score for group HF was lower than pre-simulation self confidence score for both topics of adult intubation and IV cannulation where as for group LF, it was lower only for adult intubation(p<0.05). In group HF, the needs for clinical training on both topics increased after the simulation. In group LF, there was no significant change of needs for clinical training between pre and post simulation survey. This suggest that fidelity may be a helpful factor to improve the motivation of the students and further study on economical aspect should be addressed.

  • Cryopump는 반도체 임플란타 공정, OLED분야, 신소재 개발, 표면분석 및 처리, 의료분야, 입자가속기, 핵융합 등 다양한 진공분야에 응용되는 고진공용 극저온펌프이다. 특히 향후로의 산업구조는 디스플레이, 반도체, IT 산업분야로 집중 재편될 것이기에, 이에 따른 핵심제조장비인 고진공 펌프의 수요가 급증할 것으로 판단된다. 그리고 이를 위한 핵심부품과 장비들의 국산화가 시급한 실정이다. 기술적인 측면에서 보자면 GVT는 미국의 Varian과 일본Ebara의 Cryopump 제조기술을 원천으로 한 회사로써 현재는 국내 유일의 G-M냉동기와 Cryopump 제조기술을 보유한 업체이다. 그리고 최근 오랫동안 정체되었던 관련 기술을 발전시켜 최적화된 한국형 G-M 냉동기 및 이를 장착한 다양한 사이즈의 고성능 Cryopump를 출시하게 되었다. 가장 큰 수확은 Cryopump의 성능을 크게 향상시켰으며 무엇보다 고객맞춤형으로 디자인할 수 있을 정도의 기술력을 확보하게 되었다는 점이다. Cryopump의 성능은 장착되는 Cryocooler(G-M냉동기)의 성능과 밀접한 관련이 있기 때문에 일차로 Cryocooler의 성능을 개선하고 이차로 이를 장착한 Cryopump의 성능을 개선하였다. 본 연구는 일차로 진행된 HP Series 2단 Cryocooler 4가지 모델 중 가장 범용인 HPM 모델과 HPS모델에 대한 제작과 성능시험에 관한 것이다. 이는 각각 기존의 ICP Series 펌프에 장착되던 Expander 535 모델 및 Expander 855 모델에 대한 설계 최적화의 결과물로써 내용은 Cryocooler에 대한 'Typical Performance Test(1st STG와 2nd STG의 온도가 각각의 Stage에 인가되는 Heat Load에 의해 그물망 형태의 그래프가 되도록 수행하는 시험법)'의 절차를 따라 수행되었다. HPM Cryocooler의 성능은 2nd STG Temp. 20K 와 1st STG Temp. 80K를 Heat Load 기준으로 하였을 경우, 각각 8.2W, 55.0W의 성능을 나타내었고 HPS Cryocooler의 성능은 2nd STG Temp. 20K 와 1st STG Temp. 72K를 Heat Load기준으로 하였을 경우, 각각 14.0W, 90.0W의 성능을 나타내었다. 1st STG Temp.를 72K로 정한 이유는 Power Supply의 용량 한계로 인해 90W이상의 Heat Load를 인가할 수 없었기 때문이다. 만약 성능 그래프의 경향성을 고려하여 1st STG Temp. 80K로 가정한다면, 각각 약 13W, 100W 정도의 성능을 가질 것으로 추정된다. 단, 본 시험에 사용된 Compressor는 GVT의 HC80Plus 모델로 내부에는 Helium용 5HP급 Scroll Type의 Compressor가 장착되어 있으며, 봉입압력 250Psig에 저압 100Psig기준, 65scfm의 유량을 가지는 압축기이다. 압축기와 Cryocooler의 조합은 1:1이었고 시험방법은 Cryocooler에 대한 GVT 자체규정에 따라 진행되었으며 밤과 낮 및 공장전체의 부하변동에 따른 냉각수 온도변화에 따른 펌프의 성능변화는 고려되지 않았다.

  • We are developing a receiver that integrates eLoran and GNSS for navigation. The receiver shows similar performance to LORADD receiver in single navigation using Loran-C. In the case of GNSS navigation, the receiver uses GPS and GLONASS or GPS and BDS, so it has better navigation performance than the LORADD receiver using only GPS. Therefore, it is possible to expect better performance than the LORADD receiver in the integrated navigation which can complete the time synchronization between the chains later and obtaion the TOA. Loran data channel decoding function is implemented for eLoran navigation and the function of eliminating error factors such as interference is being implemented.

Development of Turbopump Cavitation Performance Test Facility and the Test of Inducer Performance (터보펌프 Cavitation 성능시험기 개발 및 성능시험에 관한 연구)

  • A performance test facility for turbopump inducer cavitation was developed and the inducer cavitation performance tests were performed. Major components of the performance test facility are driving unit, test section, piping, water tank, and data acquisition and control system. The maximum of testing capability of this facility are as follows: flow rate - 30kg/s; pressure - 13 bar; rotational speed 10,000rpm. This cavitation test facility is characterized by the booster pump installed at the outlet of the pump that extends the flow rate range, and by the pressure control system that makes the line pressure down to vapor pressure. The vacuum pump is used for removing the dissolved air in the water as well as the line pressure. Performance tests were carried out and preliminary data of test model inducer were obtained. The cavitation performance test and cavitation bubble flow visualization were also made. This facility is originally designed for turbopump inducer performance test and cavitation test. However it can be applied to the pump impeller performance test in the future with little modification.
