Field Weakening Control of IPMSM Using Current Feedback (전류궤환에 의한 영구자석 동기 전동기의 약계자 제어)

  • This paper describes current controlled PWM technique of IPM synchronous motors for a wide variety of speed control applications. They are however limited in their ability to operate in the power limited regime where the available torque is reduced as the speed is increased above its base value. This paper reviews the operation of the IPMSM drives when they are constrained to be within the permissible envelope of maximum inverter voltage and current to produce the rated power and to provide this with the highest attainable rotor speed. This paper proposes a new field-weakening control algorithm using phase current feedback to improve the torque characteristics and to reduce the torque ripple of IPMSM in the constant power region. The improved torque characteristics of speed control strategy with current feedback control algorithm is analyzed and the performance is investigated by the computer simulation results.

  • This paper presents a vector control implementation for SPMSM(Surface-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) using dSPACE 1104 system and MATLAB/SIMULINK. SPMSM can be treated as a DC motor provided that currents of flux and torque component are controlled independently using vector control. Therefore various control algorithms for conventional DC motor control can be adopted to SPMSM. The system is designed to improve set-point tracking capability, fast response, and accuracy. In This paper, d-q equivalent modeling of PMSM is derived based on vector control theory. The PI controller is used for speed control and state feedback PI current control method is used for current control. For the implementation of high performance vector control system, dSPACE 1104 system is used. Simulations and experiments were carried out to examine validity of the proposed vector control implementation.

  • 최근 산업기기의 대형화로 인하여 전기기기 및 전력기기의 고효율 대용량 설계에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 그 동안에는 대용량 전동기로 주로 유도전동기와 릴럭턴스 전동기가 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 유도전동기는 저속에서의 효율이 낮으며 회전자의 열손실이 효율과 역률을 저하시키는 단점이 있고, 릴럭턴스 전동기는 구조 및 동작원리 상 큰 맥동토크로 인하여 소음과 진동이 매우 크다. 이에 효율과 역률이 좋고 고속운전이 가능한 영구자석형 전동기에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되었고 최근에는 영구자석 재질(희토류계)의 발달함로 인하여 고속 대용량 자석계자형 BLDC와 영구자석형 동기전동기의 설계가 가능해져 대형기에 많이 이용되고 있다. 그러나 대용량 전기기기의 경우 그 크기와 부피가 매우 크고 대전류 대전압의 전원을 공급하여야 하기 때문에 인버터부를 병렬 연결하여야 하므로 제어부를 포함한 전동기의 설치 공간이 증가해 지는 단점이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인버터를 전동기의 회전자 내부에 배치한 인버터 내부형 5[MW]급 BLDC 전동기를 설계하고자 하였다.

  • An adaptive feedback linearization technique of a PM synchronous motor with specified output dynamic performance is proposed. The adaptive parameter estimation is achieved by a model reference adaptive technique where the stator resistance and flux linkage can be estimated with the current dynamic model and the state observer. Using these estimated parameters, the linearizing control inputs are calculated and a nonlinear coupled model of a PM synchronous motor is input-output linearized. The resultant model has the load torque disturbance. To get ti perfect decoupled model, the load torque is estimated. The adaptation laws are derived by the hyperstability theory and positivity concept. The robustness of the proposed control scheme will be proven through the computer simulations.

  • 이벤트 서비스는 멀티미디어 통신, 전자상거래 등과 같은 대용량의 분산 응용 시스템에서 발생하는 비동기적 이벤트의 전송을 제어하기 위한 서비스이다. 하지만 기존의 이벤트 서비스는 분산 환경의 실시간 응용 시스템을 지원하기 위해 필요한 실시간 지원 기능들이 결여되어 있어 이를 지원할 수 있는 실시간 이벤트 서비스 처리 방안이 요구된다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 RTEF(Real-Time Event Filtering) 서비스는 기존의 ORB 구조에 실시간 이벤트 필터링, 실시간 모니터 및 QoS 저장소를 포함시킨 실시간 이벤트 서비스 미들웨어이다. 특히, RTEF는 이벤트 사용자의 실시간 요구사항을 분산 실시간 응용시스템에 반영시키기 위하여 이벤트 필터링 기능을 실시간 처리에 맞게 강화 시켜 기존의 시스템에서 지원하지 못한 사용자의 실시간 요구사항을 지원하는데 중점을 두었다. 분산 실시간 응용시스템에 RTEF를 적용하면 사용자에게 자신이 원하는 실시간 요구조건에 맞게 필터링된 이벤트 처리결과를 제공하게 되므로 궁극적으로 보다 높은 서비스(QoS)를 제공하게 된다. 또한 이 과정을 통해 불필요한 이벤트가 필터링 됨으로써 전체적인 네트웍 트래픽(traffic)을 감소시키는 효과를 가져온다.

  • A compensation algorithm targeting for torque development from a SPMSM including a low speed operation is presented in this paper. As known, PM flux linkage in SPMSM is varied by temperature. Maximum Torque per Ampere (MTPA) uses the calculated PM flux linkage, and torque error occurs due to change of PM flux linkage. In the manuscript, estimated PM flux linkage is obtained using a stator flux observer. The torque error is corrected using the estimated PM flux linkage. The proposed algorithm is implemented and verified in simulation and experiment.

  • This paper interprets the relationship between the physical activity of the human and the signal of the brain to show the meaningful results in the process of sending and receiving information to the connected muscles. When a person works or thinks, a specific brain signal is generated from the brain and being trasmmited to the connected part. The EMG signal, which has muscle activity information, outputs the result of the muscle activation as an electrical signal, which outputs muscle activity information usually due to muscle contraction and relaxation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the two signals, which are difficult to identify easily by visual data extraction and data acquisition by extracting such EMG and EMG in real time.

  • In recent years, research on smart factory wireless mobile communication technology that wirelessly remotely controls utilities is being actively conducted. The Wi-SUN(Wireless Smart Utility Network) Alliance proposed Wi-SUN protocol structure suitable for building a platform such as a smart factory as a new wireless communication standardization standard based on EEE802.15.4g/e. It analyzes the performance of the IEEE802.15.4e CSL(Coordinated Sampled Listening) Mode MAC(Media Access Control) in terms of latency and looks at considerations for efficient operation.

  • This paper proposes a velocity control method for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) based on the Koopman operator that does not require model parameter information except for pole-pair of the motor and external load. First, the Koopman operator is derived using observable functions and observation data. Then, the desired q-axis current corresponding to the desired velocity is generated using the relationship between the continuous-time Koopman operator and the dynamics of PMSM. Also, the dynamic equation of PMSM is expressed as a linear form in observable space using the discrete-time Koopman operator. Finally, it is applied to the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) to derive the final form of control input. To verify the proposed method, the conventional cascade PI controller and the LQR controller configured with the existing technique are compared with the proposed method in the viewpoint of q-axis current generation and velocity tracking performance in an environment with noise and external load.

  • With increasing automation in ships and the development of autonomous ships, an IPMS (Integrated Platform Management System) in ship needs to integrate and process large amounts of real-time data from various equipment operating on different operating systems. A ship IPMS simulator based on data distribution service (DDS) was developed and its performance was evaluated to handle data processing similar in real ship environment. Errors were monitored while 1,000 topics/sec were asynchronously published and subscribed from data acquisitive units (DAUs) and an IPMS server operating on different operating systems. Except for the loss of some topics during the initial 4 seconds, topics were received without an error thereafter. The developed simulator demonstrates the feasibility of using DDS to integrate various control systems using different operating systems in actual ships.
