  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of assessment by adopting adaptive learning in higher education that are rarely examined in previous studies. In particular, this study applied research questions: 1) How does technical perception, perceived contents and features, and perceived integration of the AI-based adaptive system with lecture affect overall satisfaction, overall effectiveness, overall usefulness, overall motivation for the study, and intention to use it with other classes? 2) How do overall satisfaction, overall effectiveness, overall usefulness, motivation for the class, and intention to use affect loyalty on the AI-based adaptive system? This study conducted online surveys after the completion of the classes adopted AI-based adaptive learning system, ALEKS. This study applied ANOVA, regression, and factor analyses. The results of this study found that perceived integration of the AI-based adaptive learning system with the lectures on overall satisfaction, effectiveness, motivation, and intention to use for other classes showed significant with higher effect size. The results of this study provides implication that the AI-based learning system help improve learning outcomes in graduate level studies. The results provide policy and managerial implications that the AI-based adaptive learning system should improve better customer relationships in higher education.

  • In the financial investment management strategy, the distributed investment selecting and combining various financial assets is called portfolio management theory. In recent years, the blockchain based financial assets, such as cryptocurrencies, have been traded on several well-known exchanges, and an efficient portfolio management approach is required in order for investors to steadily raise their return on investment in cryptocurrencies. On the other hand, deep learning has shown remarkable results in various fields, and research on application of deep reinforcement learning algorithm to portfolio management has begun. In this paper, we propose an efficient financial portfolio investment management method based on Asynchronous Advantage Actor-Critic (A3C), which is a representative asynchronous reinforcement learning algorithm. In addition, since the conventional cross-entropy function can not be applied to portfolio management, we propose a proper method where the existing cross-entropy is modified to fit the portfolio investment method. Finally, we compare the proposed A3C model with the existing reinforcement learning based cryptography portfolio investment algorithm, and prove that the performance of the proposed A3C model is better than the existing one.

  • The development of ICT is spreading various contents to enhance health care and management efficiency through convergence between mobile and healthcare, but it indicates consumer acceptance and imbalance of mobile healthcare, and there is a lack of empirical research on functions and acceptability required according to consumer behavior and characteristics. This study sought to understand whether users were aware of and how to address the risks associated with smartphone use, and to conduct research on the acceptability and function and price of healthcare applications. For the purpose of the study, the data prepared in depth 1:1 survey for those who participated in and attended the 'BIO 2018 in Boston' exhibition was used for the actual analysis. The collected sample data included frequency analysis, technical statistical analysis, speech only correlation, chi square test, one-way analysis, and accuracy test. As a result, the more you realize the wrong attitude, the higher the awareness of risk and willingness to take action to solve problems. Second, it is necessary to increase satisfaction with the functions of healthcare apps, as well as to utilize health care and healthcare apps. Third, focus should be placed on systems or functional implementations centered on user behavior changes. Fourth, it is necessary to develop services that can enhance visual motivation. This study is meaningful in that it identifies a variety of consumer characteristics and provides directions for development of functions, and can be used as a basis for providing efficient healthcare applications in the future.
