There are very few studies on the guidance service which is one of the important reference and information service function in the library. During the last decades, Readers' Advisory Service has become one of the most interesting and demanding function in many Public libraries of the western world. This paper Introduces the background theory of Readers' Advisory Service and the basic skills for readers' advisors. Library managers and library schools can get ideas from this paper in planning reading programs for adult library users and training programs for library staff and LIS students.

The transformation of the Italian retailing has permitted, in the last ten years, a quick modification of the strategic groups' weight at a distributive level. Such change regards the redesign of the competitive assets that sees as protagonist both the main foreign big multiple chains and the Italian retailing, characterized by small dependent enterprises. The analysis is focused on the solutions that independent retailers are adopting in order to strengthen their competitive ability in relation to the aforementioned prospective entrance of foreign distributors in the domestic market. In particular, the most commonly adopted strategic alternative are analysed, in an attempt to characterize the development models that can emerge. The paper presents a case of possible successful solution adopted by some independent retailers for a competitiveness recovery without sacrificing the enterprise's property and autonomy.

This research aimed at the investigation of the effectiveness of bibliotherapy for depressed older adults 65 years of age and older, The efficacy between interactive bibliotherapy and reading bibliotherapy was also compared and analysed. For implementing the research, 22 subjects, aged 65 or over. were recruited from the community on a volunteer basis to Participate in a bibliotherapy program. Initial screening of potential participants was conducted by testing the measurement of depression. Experiment results were analyzed via t-ananlysis(SD, P, T) and $2\times3(Group{\times}Time)$ between and within ANOVA calculated by SPSS program. The results of the analyses supported hypotheses 1, 2, and 3, focusing the efficacy of interactive bibliotherapy as well as reading bibliotherapy. The analysis of hypothesis 4 was revealed that the effectiveness of interactive bibliotherapy was superior to that of reading bibliotherapy in the score of BDI and HRSD, while there was no statistical significance in the score of DAS.

생물공학관련 연구개발은 의약품분야에 상당히 집중되어 있다. 이는 의약산어브이 특수성과 생명과학과의 관련성에 기인하는 것으로 2000년대의 첨단기술로 작용할 것임에는 두말할 나위가 없다. 국내에서도 80년도 기술주도에 의한 지속적 경제발전을 이룩하기 위해 유전공학기술의 육성정책이 실시, 한국유전공학연구조합과 유전공학연구센터등이 설립되어 최근 이 분야는 상당히 바른 속도로 발전되어 왔다. 그러나 연구개발비와 연구인력이 제한된 국내 상황에서는 안정적이고 지속적인 연구투자, 각자의 특성에 맞는 독자적 연구 목표의 설정, 조직적 연구체제의 확립 및 기술개발유도를 위한 장기적이고 적극적인 정부시책이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영화색채는 서사를 비롯한 영화의 다른 요소들과 동등한 기능을 하며, 표현의 독자성에 따른 텍스트적 의미를 갖는다. 일반적으로, 빨강은 시선을 집중시키는 기능을 하며, 그로부터 유발된 의미는 확산된다. 텍스트와 콘텍스트의 관계에서 집중의 기능과 확산의 의미를 제시할 수 있다. 집중과 확산의 개념은 독자적 색채, 색채와 다른 영화적 요소들의 관계, 색채들 간의 상호작용 등에 따라 구체화된다. 이를 확인하기 위해, 이 연구는 대중성을 담보한 일련의 한국영화를 선정하여, 영화색채가 어떻게 상호작용하며, 특히 빨강의 집중 기능과 확산의 의미가 무엇인지를 분석한다.

TCG는 Trading Card Game의 약자로 수집과 게임을 목적으로 디자인된 카드게임을 일컫는다. TCG는 1993년 미국의 수학자인 리처드 가필드(Richard Garfield)가 만든 '매직: 더 개더링'(Magic: The Gathering)을 시작으로 '스펠파이어'(Spellfire), '일루미나티'(Illuminati)와 같은 다양한 게임으로 이어지며 하나의 독자적인 장르로 자리매김하게 되었다. TCG는 전략적 게임 디자인을 통한 독자적 장르의 재미도 가지고 있지만, 수집 요소가 가진 장점으로 인해 많은 타 장르 게임에서 혼합되어 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최초의 TCG인 '매직: 더 개더링'의 분석을 통해 다양한 덱을 만들어내는 방법에 대해 연구하고 나아가 타 장르 활용 방안에 대하여 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore whether reading picturebooks portraying children's play assists adult readers to recall their childhood play memories according to the narrative model of human development. In this study, adult readers recalled their play memories before and after reading a picturebook depicting children's play. Adult readers' responses to the picturebooks were also collected. The types of play from their memories were categorized and the responses were qualitatively analyzed through open coding. The results indicated that first, before reading picturebooks portraying children's play, the type of play that adult readers mostly recalled was games with rules which happened outdoor. Second, after reading a picturebook, adult readers recalled new play memories which contained more detailed elements of narratives. Third, most adult readers responded to picturebooks either emotionally or aesthetically. This study suggests the perspective on picturebooks as a literature and art genre for readers from birth to death. In addition, as an evocative object, a picturebooks could assist adult readers to recall and rediscover their childhood.

미국과 러시아, 유럽연합과 중국의 틈바구니 속에서 나름대로의 독자적인 우주개발 정책을 추진하고 있는 국가가 있다. 바로 인도다. 인도는 방대한 국토와 자원, 우수인력 그리고 저렴한 인건비를 바탕으로 국제협력과 독자개발을 병행하며 독보적인 기술력을 갖추고 있다. 인도의 우주개발은 우주성 및 우주위원회의 계획에 따라 인도 우주연구기관(ISRO : Indian Space Research Organization) 이 총괄, 수행하고 있다. 인도의 모든 우주 개발 및 연구에 대한 업무를 총괄하는 국가기관인 인도 우주연구기관에 대해 알아본다.
