  • It is said that ceramic arts which reflects the sprit of the age and culture is one of the representative cultural assets in Korea. Ceramic arts has the longest tradition and it has been used in our everyday life from a historical perspective. Unfortunately, most textbooks we use nowadays just show some art works for appreciation. It is impossible to teach unique techniques of ceramic arts with those textbooks. Traditional culture is not considered as a main part of educational contents but surrounding elements. Therefore it is hard for students to learn about our traditional culture deeply and it is also difficult to know the importance of the ceramic arts in secondary schools. Through the education of ceramic arts students can understand our traditional culture and they can also experience the formative arts by using plane and dimensional techniques. Teachers have to focus on historical background, types, functions, and sense of beauty of ceramic arts when they teach students in school. Students can use the knowledge in their daily lives. The education of ceramic arts encourage students to create new culture for ceramic arts.

Representative Emotions Felt Regarding Traditional Korean Ceramic Tableware (한국 전통의 도자 식기에서 느껴지는 대표 감성)

  • It is necessary to discover Korea's diverse traditional culture and publicize it to the world to continue the Korean Wave and develop it in a more positive direction. The present study proposes methods for publicizing little-known 'traditional Korean ceramic tableware' by focusing on Hansik, which is the most frequently published in the British Oxford Dictionary among Korean traditional cultures and can best represent Korean food. To this end, the present study measured cultural recipients' emotions regarding traditional Korean ceramic tableware to derive the 'representative emotions felt regarding traditional Korean ceramic tableware' as a method to reflect it in the design. First, the Delphi Technique was carried out based on 182 emotional vocabulary items collected from existing studies to create 33 groups of emotional vocabularies with similar concepts. In addition, among the emotional vocabularies included in each of the 33 groups, those of overlapping concepts were regrouped based on the characteristics of traditional Korean ceramic tableware, and the most appropriate emotional vocabularies were extracted and reduced to 75. A survey was carried out with 135 cultural recipients experienced with traditional Korean ceramic tableware to derive 32 representative emotions felt regarding traditional Korean ceramic tableware. Finally, from the results of a factor analysis of 32 representative emotions, this study classified vocabulary into six emotion categories including 'aesthetic, pleasure, freshness, ownership, satisfaction, and comfort'. The six emotion categories and 32 representative emotions derived from this study's results can be utilized to measure emotional levels felt by cultural recipients while using traditional Korean ceramic tableware.

  • 기술개발에 기반을 둔 국가경제 발전으로 말미암아 선진국에서는 공학교육 중요성의 인식과 더불어 그 내용을 심각하게 검토해 오고 있다. 미국에서는 공과대학에서 산업체의 연구요원이나 대학교수 확보에 충분한 수의 박사 학위 소지자를 배출해 내지 못하여 대단한 관심사가 되고 있다. 일본에서는 대학들이 다른나라에서 개발된 기술의 신속한 개량과 적용에서 벗어나 기술선도자로서의 역할을 담당하는데 필요한 독창력을 창출해 주기를 기대하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 설정된 국가경제정책에 적절히 부응할수 있는 공학교육의 변혁을 기대하고 있다. 특히 첨단기술 분야에서 정보기술이 핵심을 담당하게 되므로서 전기공학의 역할에 대한 평가와 아울러 전기공학의 대학교육에서도 계속적인 변화와 개혁의 진통이 되풀이 되고 있다.

  • Lucie Rie as an individual ceramist in terms of contemporary meaning was influenced by early 20th century's academic education and the ideology of modern formative arts. Modernity in her ceramic works has had a dramatic exert on numerous potters. Also, she is highly required to be studied in the history of modern pottery as a potter who took the initiative of studio pottery by the individual artistic handicraft. This paper considered an analysis of characteristics and techniques of 20C Modernistic ceramist Lucie Rie's works and activities. The body of this research investigated classification by chronicles and stylistic characteristics of her activity in the background of early 20th century European Modernism which influenced her formative arts.   • 4차 산업 시대의 흐름에 따라 디지털 문화유산 컨텐츠의 생산이 이루어지고 있다. 문화재의 위치와 해설을 사용자에게 제공하거나 문화재 사진을 보고 이름을 맞추며 간략한 정보를 얻는 등 학습을 위한 어플리케이션이 제작되고 있으나 사용자 경험을 고려한 지속적 교육 컨텐츠의 개발은 부족한 상황이다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 게이미피케이션을 통해 사용자가 문화재에 대한 정보를 지속적으로 학습할 수 있는 모바일 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 사용자의 흥미를 동반하여 학습을 이어가기 위해 수집형 롤플레잉 게임 시스템을 응용하고 이를 크게 네 가지의 항목으로 세분화하였다. 이 연구를 통해 우리 문화유산을 활용한 지속적 교육 컨텐츠 개발에 기여하길 기대한다.

  • As a way to popularize Karatedo, a curriculum for developing excellent trainers is needed. For that, DACUM was used to specifically look into the field of duty and work that a Karatedo trainer should have, and the purpose of this study is to present fundamental data necessary for developing and organizing the curriculum of cultivating Karatedo and create a useful material that can contribute to improve Karatedo trainers' performances who are working on site. A survey using Likert scale's 7 stages was conducted on DACUM meeting data, 28 managers and 108 trainers. Based on the collected data, this study had a test in order to solve the presented subject using DACUM method and SPSS WIN Ver. 14.0. This core work through the requirements analysis process. And karate leaders the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools, and attitude analysis was carried out to perform the tasks of each. Knowledge, skills, tools and attitude for each task, toward the results of the analysis were 47 core tasks. 167 knowledge items, function 143 items, the tool 60 items, 16 attitude items reclassified a total of 18 subjects were derived. The configuration of the karate leader training program curriculum model 'Karate practical expert area', 'theory karate expert area', 'Karate gym business area experts' was composed. Basic process of how it works Step 1, Step 2 integration process, replenishment process intensified Step 3 was composed.

  • The tendency of the current times require education to focus on convergence, and the same applies to the essence of ceramics and design base imagination and creativity. For effective integration, a wide range of experimentations is required both in terms of academic and methodic approaches. This study analyzes the [TeamTeam Class] curriculum, converging ceramics with design initiated in the second semester (autumn semester) of 2020. Through reference materials on ceramics and design convergence education, it was possible to classify the following 5 categories: Subject, Method, Management, space and communication. The aim of the study is to find resolutions to overcome existing issues and problems in search of more effective methods. Although this study is based on convergence education, [TeamTeam Class] at Kookmin University, I hope to extend it further to also consider education after COVID-19.
