  • Modular Construction is a method, which factory-produced units are transferred to on-site and assembled to form complete buildings. It is expected that its demand will increase gradually. Because it has some advantages such as duration reduction, movement, reuse and environmental friendliness etc. For the Modular Construction to be introduced and applied, we needs the objective and reasonable performance criteria. This study presents the acoustic performance criteria of the modular building. For this one, this paper reviews legal standard related to performance, analyzes the performance evaluation and survey on pilot projects. The presented performance criteria can be specifically asked the demand by owner in a design guideline. In addition, it makes designer and general contractor accomplish target performance. Eventually, it can improve the performance of Modular Building.

A new sample selection model for overdispersed count data (과대산포 가산자료의 새로운 표본선택모형)

  • Sample selection arises as a result of the partial observability of the outcome of interest in a study. Heckman introduced a sample selection model to analyze such data and proposed a full maximum likelihood estimation method under the assumption of normality. Recently sample selection models for binomial and Poisson response variables have been proposed. Based on the theory of symmetry-modulated distribution, we extend these to a model for overdispersed count data. This type of data with no sample selection is often modeled using negative binomial distribution. Hence we propose a sample selection model for overdispersed count data using the negative binomial distribution. A real data application is employed. Simulation studies reveal that our estimation method based on profile log-likelihood is stable.

Analysis of Reduction Effect of Inter-Floor Noise Using Active Noise Control (ANC) Technique (능동소음제어 기술을 이용한 층간소음 저감효과 분석)

  • In this study, the application of ANC (Active Noise Control) technology to address inter-floor noise was explored. To achieve this, an ANC system was developed to manage the heavy impact sound within the frequency range of 40 to 500 Hz. The ANC system utilized an adaptive filter employing a feedforward approach based on the Fx-LMS algorithm. To set up the ANC system, a comprehensive analysis of various variables within the system was performed using computational simulations. This process enabled the identification of optimal filter settings and system configuration arrangements. In addition, the ANC system was implemented in the inter-floor noise test room at the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL). Through a certified standard testing procedure, it was confirmed that the ANC system led to a 4 dB reduction in inter-floor noise when the system was activated compared to when it was turned off. The results of this study indicate that the developed ANC system has an effect significant enough to elevate the rating criteria by one level for heavy impact sound.

The Relationship between Real Estate Holdings and Firm's Value : Comparisons between KOSPI and KOSDAQ Companies (부동산보유비중의 기업가치 관련성 : 코스피기업과 코스닥기업의 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how Corporate Real Estate Ratio affects Firm's Value for KOSPI Companies and KOSDAQ Companies. The period of analysis is the period of the Financial Crisis (2007-2008), the period immediately after the Financial Crisis (2009-2011), and the period following the introduction of IFRS (2012-2016). The samples of 2761 KOSPI Companies years and 3719 KOSDAQ Companies years are used in this study. The result of Regression Analysis shows that the higher Corporate Real Estate Ratio is, the more negative Firm's Value is. In the comparison of markets, both KOSPI Companies and KOSDAQ Companies had no statistically significant effects during the Financial Crisis. Although KOSDAQ Companies had a greater negative effect on the Firm's Value than KOSPI Companies right after the Financial Crisis, KOSPI Companies have had a greater negative influence on the Firm's Value than KOSDAQ Companies since the introduction of IFRS. Therefore, each corporation should pay more attention to identifying the appropriate amount of their Corporate Real Estate Ratio and should continue to analyze and make decisions on the most efficient use of real estate which is owned by each company. This study shows speciality in dividing into three period, such as the period of the Financial Crisis, the period immediately after the Financial Crisis, and the period following the introduction of IFRS and comparing the degree of influence on the KOSPI Companies and KOSDAQ Companies for the each period. I hope to study the factors that affect the company's real estate policy.

An Empirical Study on the Diffusion Possibility of Next Generation Telecommunications and Broadcasting Services (차세대 통신 및 방송서비스의 확산가능성에 관한 실증연구)

  • 본 연구는 현재 도입예정에 있는 차세대 통신 및 방송서비스의 확산가능성에 대하여 잠재적 사용자1,000명을 대상으로 조사한 최근 조사자료를 중심으로 실증분석하였다. 잠재적 사용자의 선택 및 반응함수추정방법은 분석의 객관성과 효율성을 유지하기 위하여 모수적 추정과 반모수적 추정방법을 동시에 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 차세대 통신 및 방송서비스사용자들의 해당 서비스선택반응함수를 분석한 결과 서비스확산은 상당히 느리게 이루어 질 수 있다는 결과를 보여 주었다. 이러한 분석결과는 기존 초고속 및 이동통신서비스 확산에서와 같이 형태의 빠른 확산속도를 보일 것이라는 낙관적 전망견해에 상당한 문제점이 있음을 보여 준다. 둘째, 본 연구의 차세대통신 및 방송서비스확산의 부정적인 분석결과에도 불구하고, 차세대 통신서비스의 성공적 확산에 중요한 요인으로는 서비스제공요금을 낮추고, 젊은 사용자층에게 새로운 서비스의 유용성을 인식시킴으로써 최종서비스선택까지 유도케 할 수 있는 유인 메커니즘 도입전략 개발이 사업성공의 필요조건이 될 수있음을 보여 주었다. 마지막으로 우리나라 통신 및 방송산업환경은 상용화를 준비하는 사업자들이 차세대 통신 및 방송서비스의 성공적 도입을 위하여 시장구조분석 및 시장욕구의 질적 방향분석뿐만 아니라, 그 영향 정도를 수치화하고 계량화하는 시장분석자료를 바탕으로 시장도입 및 전개전략을 개발하는 과정이 절대적으로 필요한 단계가 되었음을 보여 준다. 본 연구결과의 시사점으로 차세대 통신 및 방송서비스의 산업고도화에 대한 면밀한 사전계량시장분석으로 시장전략형성 전환적사고가 해당 서비스제공사업자뿐만 아니라 서비스정책을 수행하는 정부당국자에게도 필요과정요소가 되고 있음을 보여 준다.

Delisting risk of firm with a new technological innovation and research & development intensity (기술도입기업의 연구개발 집약수준에 따른 시장퇴출위험에 관한 실증연구)

  • This paper analyzes the price movements and the possibility of delisting by research and development intensity of firm which made technological innovation disclosure in the Korean stock market. The sample consists of firms listed on the KRX which made technological information disclosure between January 2002 and December 2014. The results are summarized as follows. The higher R&D intensity is observed for the delisted firms group. The logit regression result shows that the research and development intensity is a significant predictor of the possibility of delisting. This shows that exposure to the risk of delisting may increase as the proportion and uncertainty of intangible assets in the assets of individual firms increases. This empirical result is expected to serve as a good guide line for the stakeholders.

  • This study the impact on the real earnings management credit rating (RANK), and looked at the impact on the real earnings management grade credit rating changes (decrease, increase) the effects in detail. firm for a total of 06 years for firm that are listed on the Korea Stock Exchange from 2008 to 2013 for the hypothesis - using the proceeds of the year 2,583 sample were analyzed to study. A regression analysis of the relevance of the credit rating (RANK) and real earnings measured results between the credit rating and a measure of real earnings management ACFO and ADE (+) between AMC (-) IFRS and receive relevant ADE between(+) between AMC (-) if the credit rating (RANK) is increased ACFO and is significantly sound level at 1% showed the relevance of (+) did not significantly ADE (+) 10% of AMC if the credit rating fell ACFO is (-) from AMC show the relevance of positive credit rating is dropped capital letter showed for performing real earnings management of positive even give up the future cash flow in order to reduce the cost.

The Error Pattern Analysis of the HMM-Based Automatic Phoneme Segmentation (HMM기반 자동음소분할기의 음소분할 오류 유형 분석)

  • Phone segmentation of speech waveform is especially important for concatenative text to speech synthesis which uses segmented corpora for the construction of synthetic units. because the quality of synthesized speech depends critically on the accuracy of the segmentation. In the beginning. the phone segmentation was manually performed. but it brings the huge effort and the large time delay. HMM-based approaches adopted from automatic speech recognition are most widely used for automatic segmentation in speech synthesis, providing a consistent and accurate phone labeling scheme. Even the HMM-based approach has been successful, it may locate a phone boundary at a different position than expected. In this paper. we categorized adjacent phoneme pairs and analyzed the mismatches between hand-labeled transcriptions and HMM-based labels. Then we described the dominant error patterns that must be improved for the speech synthesis. For the experiment. hand labeled standard Korean speech DB from ETRI was used as a reference DB. Time difference larger than 20ms between hand-labeled phoneme boundary and auto-aligned boundary is treated as an automatic segmentation error. Our experimental results from female speaker revealed that plosive-vowel, affricate-vowel and vowel-liquid pairs showed high accuracies, 99%, 99.5% and 99% respectively. But stop-nasal, stop-liquid and nasal-liquid pairs showed very low accuracies, 45%, 50% and 55%. And these from male speaker revealed similar tendency.

A Study on Phonetic Properties of Prosodic Boundaries (운율 경계의 음성적 특질 연구)

  • 이 연구는 몇 가지 음성적 특징들이 한국어 연속 음성에서의 운율단위의 운율 단서 로 사용되어질 수 있음을 보여 준다. 구 단위의 운율 이론 체계에서 한국어의 운율단위를 악센트구와 억양구로 정의한 전선아(1993)의 연구 결과를 연속음성 자료에 도입하면서 운율 경계에서의 음성적 특징들을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 악센트구와 억양구말에서는 피치 패턴 과 경계성조의 변화 뿐 아니라 단위말 음절의 길이 증가 현상이 두드러짐을 알 수 있었다. 또 악센트구와 억양구초에서는 모음으로 시작하는 음절의 경우, 모음 시작부에서의 성문음 화가 특징으로 나타난다. 운율 경계에서의 이런 음성적 특징들은 운율단위를 구분짓는 단서 로 이용될 수 있으며 또한 한국어 연속음성의 운율적 패턴을 이해할 수 있게 한다.

Softening finishing with Improved Durability of Towel (내구성이 향상된 타월의 유연가공)

  • 타월은 소비자가 구매할 때 촉감을 중요시하므로 염색 후 가공 시 유연제를 사용한다. 그러나 반복 세탁 후에는 유연가공제의 탈착으로 초기의 유연성을 잃게 되고, 유연성 유지를 위해 후 가공시 유연제를 다량 사용할 경우 타월의 흡수성을 감소시키게 된다. 유연제는 이온성 별로 다양한 종류가 시판되고 있으나, 수중에서 음으로 하전된 면섬유와 이온결합이 가능한 양이온성 유연제가 가장 많이 사용되고 있다. 양이온성 유연제는 4급 암모늄 화합물로 항균효과도 부수적으로 타월에 부여한다. 본 연구에서는 반응성기를 도입한 양이온성 유연제를 합성하여 시판 유연제와 사용량에 따른 유연효과, 내세탁성을 비교하였으며, 또한 염색 후 유연가공한 타월의 색상변화도 조사하였다. 합성한 양이온성 유연제는 친수성의 특성도 유지하면서, 5회 세척 후에도 개선된 유연효과를 나타내었다.
