  • 세상이 빠르게 변화하고 있지만 역설적으로 느림과 여유도 중요한 가치로 부상하며 '속도의 경제'와 '느림의 미학'이 공존하고 있다. 소비자는 무조건 시간효율을 추구하는 것이 아니라, 오히려 속도를 줄이거나 정지, 때로는 과거로 회귀하는데서 즐거움을 느끼고 있다. 또한 변화 속도가 빠른 도심 공간을 벗어나 자연친화적 공간에서 생활함으로써 여유를 찾고 있으며, 경쟁에 지친 자신의 마음을 돌아보는 것은 물론, 우열의 비교대상으로 여기던 타인의 마음까지 돌아보려는 경향이 있다. 이와 아울러 편의성을 쫓는 과정에서 소홀히 했던 건강을 돌보고 궁극적으로 건강에 도움이 되는 생활방식을 실천하고자 한다. 이러한 슬로 트렌드의 부상을 기업에 있어 새로운 비즈니스의 기회인 동시에 기존 경영관행에 변화를 요구하는 위협 요인으로 작용한다. 따라서 느림의 가치를 기존산업과 비즈니스에 접목해 신(新)사업 기회를 탐색해야 한다.

A Study on the Heterogeneity of Leisure Travel Time between Elderly and Non Elderly People - Focusing on urban and rural areas in south Chungcheong province - (고령자와 비고령자의 여가통행시간 이질성 연구 - 충남 도시권과 농어촌권을 중심으로 -)

  • This study tried to explore the quantitative travel heterogeneity between elderly and non elderly people, focusing on urban and rural areas in south Chungcheong province. For the analysis, a PLS(Partial least square) model is applied with economic and traffic environment characteristics of the urban and rural areas. The characteristics of elderly and non elderly people in the urban and rural areas are derived from the 2011 person trip survey. As a result, the study found out that the key factors affect on elderly people in the urban and rural areas are bus operation interval, number of bus operation routes, number of household member, and a monthly average income of household. In case of non elderly people, areas economic factors such as GRDP, the rate of economic activity, and employment status as well as those of elderly people. Meanwhile, female elderly people in rural area have more sensitivity compared to male elderly people and the gender heterogeneity is not revealed in non elderly people.

A Study on Use Satisfaction and Image Evaluation of User through Post Occupancy Evaluation in Urban Park - On the 2·28 Memorial Park in Daegu - (도심공원 이용 후 평가를 통한 이용 만족도와 이미지 평가 - 대구 2·28기념중앙공원을 대상으로 -)

  • This paper deals with Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) of 2.28 Memorial Park in Daegu. The park is located in center of the city. The results and discussions could be used as basic data for urban park planning and design, in CBD. A questionnaire was conducted for 15 days from May 11, to May 26, 2016, and a sample group consisting of 230 on site users. The behavior, satisfaction, and preference of space image, were surveyed. The behavior analysis, satisfaction, and image evaluation questionnaire were derived using previous studies, and reliability, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS. As a result, the items were very reliable, causal factors were extracted, and the variables that affect satisfaction and image preference were able to be identified. In the 2.28 Memorial Park, user satisfaction and image evaluation value were very high in most items. As a result of the assessment, the green-water landscape factors and cleanness factors, which have the greatest influence on satisfaction and preference, should be continuously maintained. Due to the characteristics of the city center parks, the users of the parks also felt environmental problems in the urban areas, so the users assessed noise levels, plant species, and air quality at a low level. Therefore, to solve this, plans such as noise abatement and extension of green space should be ongoing.

Growth Decline of Pitch Pine Caused by Soil Acidification in Seoul Metropolitan Area (首都圈地域에서 土壤의 酸性化에 의한 리기다소나무의 生長 減少)

  • To elucidate the cause of growth decline of pitch pine (Pinus rigida) in Seoul, tree density, tree age and physico-chemical properties of soils were investigated at 33 sites of pitch pine forests in metropolitan Seoul, its vicinity and rural areas. The physical properties of soils except for soil texture in Seoul did not differ from those in rural areas. pH values, base saturation, and Ca and Mg contents of soils in Seoul, however, were significantly lower than those in suburbs and rural areas. In contrast, soluble Al and $S0_4^{2-}-S$ contents in Seoul were higher than those in rural areas. Low pH of forest soils in Seoul and suburbs seems to be caused by acid deposition. According to multiple regression analysis, growth of pitch pine in Seoul was affected by several factors in the following order: soil bulk density < Al content of soils < tree density < Mg contents of soil < tree age. We concluded that the acidification of forest soil can be a predisposing factor for the growth decline of pitch pine in metropolitan areas.

위성자료를 이용한 토지피복에 따른 열환경 평가

  • 최근 인간의 활동범위와 영역이 확대되고 산업이 발전하면서 인간의 삶과 지속가능한 발전 등 도시 기후에 관한 관심도 높아지고 있다. 산업혁명 이후 도시화와 산업화로 인해 인구가 증가하고 도시지역으로 집중됨으로써 도시 열섬화 현상에 대한 도시환경문제가 부각되고 있다. 이는 최근까지도 도시개발에 있어서 기능과 효율성이 우선시 되어 도시기후에 대한 배려가 이루어지지 못하고 있으며, 오히려 과도한 냉난방을 가동하는 등 쾌적한 실내 환경 조성을 위한 노력만을 행해왔다. 도시화에 따른 도시의 열환경 구조의 변화는 토지이용의 변화에 따른 피복상태와 밀접한 관련이 있다는 연구들이 수행된 바 있다. 이렇듯 도시화가 진행됨에 따라서 도심 지표면을 덮고 있는 포장재도 변하고 있다. 대표적인 토지피복재로는 콘크리트와 아스팔트 등의 인공포장재, 수계, 삼림 등으로 크게 나누어 볼 수 있다. 최근 도심의 발달로 인해 도심의 표면은 점차 인공포장재인 아스팔트와 콘크리트로 덮여지고 있다. 인공포장재는 맑은 여름철 낮에 받아들인 열을 야간에도 머금고 있어 도시열섬현상의 주요원인이 된다. 도시화가 진행됨에 따라 토지이용형태가 변화하고 있으며 이러한 토지피복의 변화는 그 지역의 기온과 풍향, 풍속뿐만 아니라 지표온도도 변화시키므로 도시 열환경 구조에 적지 않은 영향을 미치고 있다. 과거에는 자연 환경과 도시공간에 대한 인식이 다른 분야로 나누어져서 다루었지만 현재 위성영상 기술의 발달로 많은 공간 정보를 파악할 수 있게 된 바 도시기후변화에 더욱 직접적이고 근본적인 접근이 쉬워졌다. 원격탐사기법의 활용은 위성자료를 이용하여 동시간대 평면적인 열구조를 정량적으로 파악하는데에 중요한 자료를 제공하여 도시지역을 덮고 있는 인공자재의 존재가 도시열섬의 형성과 밀접하게 연관이 있다는 사실을 짐작할 수 있다. 따라서 도시기후변화의 문제점을 더욱 적극적으로 해결하기 위해서는 토지이용에 따른 지표면 온도 상승의 현황을 파악하고 이를 저감 시킬 수 있는 대책들이 수립되어야 한다. 본 연구는 보다 세분화된 도시 열환경을 정량적으로 분석 평가하기 위해서 토지피복별 분류를 3가지로 대구시 중구 경북대학교 부속 고등학교(이하 사대부고 지점)를 도심지역으로, 경상남도 창녕군 창녕읍 우포늪(이하 우포지점)을 수계지점으로, 경상북도 안동시 길안면 만음리(이하 안동지점) 지점과 대구시 칠곡군 동명면 득명리 팔공산 한티재 도립공원(이하 팔공지점)을 산림으로 분류하여 연구하였다. 대구 계명대학교 기후환경연구실에서 보유하고 있는 AWS(Automatic Weather Station) 자료로 기상요소를 분석하였으며, MODIS Terra 위성영상을 이용하여 지표온도를 추출하고 분석하였다. 또 기상요소와 지표온도를 이용해 회귀식을 도출하여 추정기온을 산출하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 계절에 따른 기온의 시간변화는 여름의 평균기온이 $25.13^{\circ}C$$24.12^{\circ}C$로 사대지점과 우포지점의 평균기온이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 이는 도심에서 발생되는 인공열의 영향으로, 우포지점은 수계의 특징이 반영된 결과라 할 수 있다. 둘째, 계절에 따른 풍속의 시간변화는 여름의 경우 우포지점의 풍속이 1.63m/s로 가장 높은 반면 안동지점의 풍속이 0.27m/s로 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 겨울의 경우 팔공지점의 풍속이 1.82m/s로 가장 높게 나타났다. 토지피복에 따른 지표면의 변화가 도시기후에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 평가하고, 또 지표면 온도와 기온과의 차이를 알아보기 위하여 MODIS 위성 영상을 이용하여 세 지점을 대상으로 토지피복에 따른 열환경을 평가 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, MODIS 위성영상을 이용하여 산출한 지표면 온도는 여름철 주간에 안동지점의 경우 주변지역에 비해 지표면 온도가 약 $26^{\circ}C$로 낮게 나타났으며 우포지점의 경우 수계가 가지는 열 완충능력으로 약 $27^{\circ}C$의 낮은 지표면 온도를 나타내었다. 사대지점의 경우 약 $34^{\circ}C$이상의 높은 지표면 온도를 나타내었다. 둘째, MODIS 위성영상을 이용하여 산출한 지표면 온도와 관측된 기온과의 회귀식을 도출하여 상관분석 한 결과, 모든 지점의 값에서 상관성 및 신뢰도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 상관분석의 결과를 통하여 추정한 기온은 지표면 온도와의 차이가 있지만 유사한 패턴의 결과로 추출되었다. 이러한 결과로 볼 때 도시의 인공자재를 이용한 건축과 개발이 도시열섬현상을 유발하는데 중요한 역할을 하는 것을 정량적으로 평가할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 논문의 연구결과를 바탕으로 도시계획에 있어서 인공구조물에 의한 기온과 풍속이 받는 영향을 고려하여 도심의 인공구조물의 배치나 자재에 대한 개발이 이루어져야 할 것이며 열교환의 방해 및 바람순환이 확보되는 구조로 개선되어야 할 것이다.

The Effect of Urban Trees on Residential Solar Energy Potential (도심 수목이 분산형 주거 태양광에너지 잠재량에 미치는 영향)

  • This study spatially assesses the impact of trees on residential rooftop solar energy potential using urban three-dimensional models derived from Light Detection and Ranging(LiDAR) data in San Francisco, California. In recent years on-site solar energy generation in cities has become an essential agenda in municipal climate action plans. However, it can be limited by neighboring environments such as shade from topography, buildings and trees. Of all these effects, the impact of trees on rooftop photovoltaics(PVs) requires careful attention because improper situation of solar panels without considering trees can result in inefficient solar energy generation, tree removal, and/or increasing building energy demand and urban heat island effect. Using ArcMap 9.3.1, we calculated the incoming annual solar radiation on individual rooftops in San Francisco and the reduced insolation affected by trees. Furthermore, we performed a multiple regression analysis to see what attributes of trees in a neighborhood(tree density, tree heights, and the variance of tree heights) affect rooftop insolation. The result shows that annual total residential rooftops insolation in San Francisco is 18,326,671 MWh and annual total light-loss reduction caused by trees is 326,406 MWh, which is about 1.78%. The annual insolation shows a wide range of values from $34.4kWh/m^2/year$ to $1,348.4kWh/m^2/year$. The result spatially maps the locations that show the various levels of impact from trees. The result from multiple regression shows that tree density, average tree heights and the variation of tree heights in a neighborhood have statistically significant effects on the rooftop solar potential. The results can be linked to municipal energy planning in order to manage potential conflicts as cities with low to medium population density begin implementing on-site solar energy generation. Rooftop solar energy generation makes the best contribution towards achieving sustainability when PVs are optimally located while pursuing the preservation of urban trees.

An Analysis of the Effects of Customer Characteristics on Sales of Alley Market Area Using Geographically Weighted Regression (지리가중회귀분석을 이용한 고객특성별 골목상권 매출액 영향 연구)

  • With the revitalization of alley market area becoming a major goal of the urban regeneration project, an understanding on customer characteristics that affect the sales of alley market areas is needed. As spatial heterogeneity appears to exist in alley market areas, the use of GWR (Geographically Weighted Regression) is required as an alternative to OLS (Ordinary Least Squares) regression. This study analyzes effects of customer characteristics on sales of 1007 alley market areas in Seoul. Comparing R squared and AICc, results show that GWR is better than OLS regression. According to OLS regression, the ratio of female, the ratio of 40's and 50's, the number of employees, the opening rate of establishment, the density of building and the size of alley market area have positive effects on sales, while the ratio of 20's and 30's, the distance of bus stop and that of subway station have negative effects. As a result of comparing local regression coefficients of geographically weighted regression analysis, the ratio of female customers has the greatest effect on the northwestern region, followed by the southwestern region, the central region and the northeastern region. The ratio of 20's and 30's and that of 40's and 50's effect on the southeastern and northeastern regions, and then the southwestern region. It is expected that this study will help to identify marketing target for each alley market area.

Development of Urban Flood Water Level Forecasting Model Using Regression Method (회귀기법을 이용한 도시홍수위 예측모형의 개발)

  • A regression water level forecasting model using data from stage and rainfall monitoring stations is developed to solve the difficulties which real-time forecasting models could not get the reliabilities by assuming future rainfall duration and intensity. The model could forecast future water levels of maximum 2 hours after using data from monitoring stations in Daejeon area. It shows stable forecasts by its maximum standard deviation is 5 cm, average standard deviations are 1~4 cm and most of coefficients of determination are larger than 0.95. It shows also more researches about the stationary of watershed which assumed in this regression method are necessary.

  • Underground excavation using TBM machines has been increasing to reduce complaints caused by noise, vibration, and traffic congestion resulted from the urban underground construction in Korea. However, TBM excavation design and construction still need improvement because those are based on standards of the technologically advanced countries (e.g., Japan, Germany) that do not consider geological environment in Korea at all. Above all, although TBM performance is a main factor determining the TBM machine type, duration and cost of the construction, it is estimated by only using UCS (uniaxial compressive strength) as the ground parameters and it often does not match the actual field conditions. This study was carried out as part of efforts to predict penetration rate suitable for Korean ground conditions. The effective parameters were defined through the correlation analysis between the penetration rate and the geotechnical parameters or TBM performance parameters. The effective parameters were then used as variables of the multiple regression analysis to derive a regression model for predicting TBM penetration rate. As a result, the regression model was estimated by UCS and joint spacing and showed a good agreement with field penetration rate measured during TBM excavation. However, when this model was applied to another site in Korea, the prediction accuracy was slightly reduced. Therefore, in order to overcome the limitation of the regression model, further studies are required to obtain a generalized prediction model which is not restricted by the field conditions.

A Study on the Analysis of Apartment Price affected by Urban Infrastructure System - Electricity Substation (도시기반시설이 공동주택가격에 미치는 영향분석에 관한 연구 - 전력통신시설(변전소)을 중심으로 -)

  • As one of urban infrastructure system, the electricity substation is critical for urban life and industrial activity as the electricity demands get higher than ever. However the substation is generally regarded as unpleasant or dangerous facility, which finally results in the continuous opposition movement by resident due to the belief of unidentified negative effect in apartment prices. Accordingly, as the scientifically objective and quantitative analysis is required to solve the social conflict, this study intends to examine the variation affected by urban infrastructure system, expecially for substation. After the independent variable defining the price of apartment and the dependent variable, which is apartment price, are identified and their spatial data has been filed, the forecasting model has been developed through the hedonic price function as well as artificial neural networks system. The research finding indicated that the spatial range affected by substation is not notable and the range of some case was applicable for less than 600m. It is expected that these research findings can be applied for establishing the one of solid cases for the analysis of economical effect to local housing market by the urban infrastructure system.
