  • 산업자동화, 임베디드시스템, 지능형 빌딩, 유비쿼터스 환경 구축 등의 다양한 분야에 활용되는 PLC나 모션제어기를 위한 표준안은 IEC 61131-3이다. 이 표준안은 제어기를 위한 프로그래밍 환경과 언어의 문법구조를 정의하고 있으나, 도식적으로 표현되는 LD 프로그램의 저장 형식이 제시되지 않아서 관련 소프트웨어마다 서로 다른 저장 형식을 사용한다. PLCopen 그룹에서 배포한 표준 저장 형식 XML 스키마를 사용하면 데이터의 교환과 연동 언어들의 호환이 가능하다. 본 논문은 표준 XML 스키마를 기반하는 LD 그래픽편집기를 구현한다. 구현 형태는 Eclipse 플러그인으로서, Eclipse 도구인 EMF와 GEF를 이용하였다.

  • 인지의 주체로서 마음을 연구하는 인지과학은 인간 마음이 가지고 있는 본성을 탐구하고 인간이 가지고 있는 정보전달체계(information processing system)를 밝힘으로써 미를 컴퓨터에 응용하려는 것이 그 목적 중의 하나이다. 이러한 맥락에서 인식론도 어떤 명제를 믿는 것이 정당성을 갖느냐, 다시 말해서, 어떤 명제를 믿어야 하느냐는 규범적 문제보다는 실제로 우리가 어떻게 믿음을 형성하고 있느냐는 서술적인 문제에 중점을 두는 자연주의적 인식론이 큰 세력을 얻게 되었다. 자연주의적 인식론의 대두와 함께, 그것이 규범적인 문제를 다루는 전통적인 인식론과 이떠한 관계가 있는가에 많은 철학자들이 관심을 표명하였다. 그 중 콰인(W. V. O. Quine)은 자연주의적 인식론이 전통적인 인식론을 대체해야 한다는 급진적인 주장을 하였으며, 콘블리쓰(Hilary Kornblith)는 전통적인 인식론과 자연주의적 인식론이 같은 목표를 향한 다른 방법론을 쓰는 것이므로 적어도 전통적인 인식론자들은 자연주의적 인식론의 영향을 받아야만 한다고 단언하였다. 본고에서는 이 두 사람의 논증을 살펴보고 전통적인 인식론과 자연주의적 인식론이 얼마나 밀접하게 연결되어 있는가를 검토해 보기로 하겠다.

Aspects on Conceptual Mappings in Mental Space (정신공간에서의 개념적 사상의 양상)

  • 이 글은 최근 인지언어학에서 기본적인 핵심이론 중의 하나로 자리잡고 있는 '정신공간 이론'(mental space theory)에 대한 이론적인 소개와 함께 의미구성에 있어서 중요한 개념의 하나인 '사상'(mappings)의 문제를 다루고자 한다. 1994년 이후 Fauconnier와 Fauconnier & Turner 등을 중심으로 진행되어 오고 있는 정신공간 이론에서는, 언어의 의미를 궁극적으로 인지적 공간들 사이의 상호관계가 언어로 '투사'(projection)된 것으로 간주한다. 그리고 기존의 근원영역과 목표영역 사이의 직접적이고 체계적인 사상, 이른바 '두 영역 모델'의 대안으로 '다공간 모델'을 제시하고 있다. 다공간 모델 속에는 '포괄공간'(generic space)과 '혼합공간'(blending space)이 설정되는데, 그 중에서 포괄공간은 근원공간과 목표공간의 모든 개념이나 추상적인 도식 등이 반영되어 있는 반면, 혼합공간은 실제의 다양한 개념적 혼합의 결과로 나타나며, 입력된 공간에서 나타나는 상응되는 부분들 사이의 연결을 활용하고 발전시키기 때문에 그 자체가 또 다른 혼합공간의 입력공간에서 일어나는 개념적 사상의 양상은 매우 다양할 뿐만 아니라 의미구성에 있어서도 중요한 역할을 한다. 이 글에서는 합성어와 같은 어휘적 측면은 물론, 일상의 문장 표현을 통해 나타나는 개념적 사상의 다양한 양상을 고찰하고자 한다.

  • The Sejong Electronic(machine-readable) Dictionary, developed by the 21st century Sejong Plan, contains systematically organized information on Korean words. It helps to solve problems encountered in the electronic formatting of the still-commonly-used hard-copy dictionary. The Sejong Electronic Dictionary, however has a limitation relate to sentence structure and selection-restricted nouns. This paper discuses the limitations of word-sense disambiguation(WSD) that uses subcategorization information suggested by the Sejong Electronic Dictionary and generalized selection-restricted nouns from the Korean Lexico-semantic network. An alternative method that utilized semi-supervised learning, the chi-square test and some other means to make WSD decisions is presented herein.

  • This is the second segment of an action research on the constructivist geography education.(1)Deeper and lasting construction of knowledge may be possible especially when some key or leading concepts are utilized, around which other related concepts may be further explored. (2) Graphic languages may be more pedagogically effective than any other language, when they are viewed as means of learning may be the teacher's questioning, cooperative discussion, and the teacher's guidance and assistance. The questioning by the teacher seems effective when it is appropriate to the different levels of learner's comprehension, and cooperative discussion among thern seems productive with the teacher's attentive guidance. And, (5) constructivism may best be understood when teachers try to embody it in their own classrooms. This may be part of the context in which action research is called for.

A Description of English Relative Clauses With conceptual Structure Theory (개념구조론에 의한 영어 관계절의 기술)

  • This paper presents a new approach to describing the meanings of English relative clauses with the theoretical framework of Conceptual Structure Theory (henceforth CST)which builds on the pionerring work of Sowa.And this paper aims at proposing some extensions to his work. CST describes the conceptual structrures of sentences with conceptual graphs(henceforth CG). which have begun to be used as an intermediate language in natural language processing and machine translation of computer.CGs are composed of concept types and conceptual relation types. They are a system of logic for semantic representation of sentences. This paper focuses on showing the differences of the CGs according to the functions of English relative clauses. English relative clauses are divided into restrictive and nonrestrictive uses.And this paper describes a restrictive clause with a CG including a expression.which derives from the viewpoint of Montague-semantics and Nom-S Analysis.This paper deals mainly with the relative clauses of double restroction as an example of restrictive relative clauses.The description of a nonrestrictive relative clause does not need any-expression, for it doesn's involve the meaning of set.And this paper links the CG of an appositive relative clause,which is a kind of nonrestrictive clauses,to the concept of the antecedent in the main clause.The description of a nonrestrictive relative clause with adverbial meaning is strated with two CGs for the main clause and the relative clause.They are linked with an appropriate intersentential conceptual relation type according to the contextual realtions between them.This paper also presents a CG of a sentential relative clause,which gives a comment on the main clause.

A Study on the Nature of the Mathematical Reasoning (수학적 추론의 본질에 관한 연구)

  • The aims of our study are to investigate the nature of mathematical reasoning and the teaching of mathematical reasoning in school mathematics. We analysed the process of shaping deduction in ancient Greek based on Netz's study, and discussed on the comparison between his study and Freudenthal's local organization. The result of our analysis shows that mathematical reasoning in elementary school has to be based on children's natural language and their intuitions, and then the mathematical necessity has to be formed. And we discussed on the sequences and implications of teaching of the sum of interior angles of polygon composed the discovery by induction, justification by intuition and logical reasoning, and generalization toward polygons.

  • In 1944 Hans Asperger reported odd bizzare 400 children who showed autism like clinical symptoms but had higher intelligence and relatively intact speech function. He named these child 'autistic psychopathy'. Since them there were many controversial views about this syndrome. Some regards Asperger syndrome as the high functioning autism variant or preschizophrenic childhood condition or childhood form of schizoid personality disorder. Though there were still many controversy, recently ICD-10, DSM-IV accepted Asperger's syndrome as a distinct subtype of pervasive developmental disorder. The authors reviewed the history and conceptual changes of Asperger syndrome and summarized the interesting recent research findings. In addition, the authors argue that this syndrome has some linkage with autism and schizoid personality disorder and proposed that these is disorders do have common defect in social instinctual development.

  • As the demand for the talented with computing thinking and programming skills increases the importance of coding education is increasing. Although various coding instructor training programs have been implemented nationwide, little research has been conducted analyzing the current status and contents of coding instructor training programs. Therefore, this thesis presents the design, development process and managing strategies of the 'Coding Instructor Training Courses for 4C Talent Development'. The training program consists of introductory courses and practical coding courses. In the introductory courses, learners acquires the basic knowledge required of coding instructors, and then proceeds to the practical courses to systematically learn the pedagogical knowledge and skills required to educate learners from kindergarten through high school. The case study introduced in this paper is expected to provide useful information to the educators planning and managing the coding instructor training program in the future.

An Analysis of the Word Problem in Elementary Mathematics Textbook from a Practical Contextual Perspective (초등 수학 교과서의 문장제에 대한 실제적 맥락 관점에서의 분석)

  • Word problems can lead learners to more meaningfully learn mathematics by providing learners with various problem-solving experiences and guiding them to apply mathematical knowledge to the context. This study attempted to provide implications for the textbook writing and teaching and learning process by examining the word problem of elementary mathematics textbooks from the perspective of practical context. The word problem of elementary mathematics textbooks was examined, and elementary mathematics textbooks in the United States and Finland were referenced to find specific alternatives. As a result, when setting an unnatural context or subject to the word problem in elementary mathematics textbooks, artificial numbers were inserted or verbal expressions and illustrations were presented unclearly. In this case, it may be difficult for learners to recognize the context of the word problem as separate from real life or to solve the problem by understanding the content required by the word problem. In the future, it is necessary to organize various types of word problems in practical contexts, such as setting up situations in consideration of learners in textbooks, actively using illustrations and diagrams, and organizing verbal expressions and illustrations more clearly.
