RFID시스템은 태그와 리더, 백엔드DB로 구성되는 무선인식시스템으로 용도와 기능, 크기에 따라 다양하지만 가장 널리 사용될 것으로 예상되는 것은 저가 수동형 태그로 향후 바코드시스템을 대체할 것으로 기대된다. 이러한 RFID시스템은 적법한 리더와 태그에게 정보를 전달해서 도청자로부터 통신을 방해받지 않아야 하고, 원하지 않는 태그 정보의 노출로 인한 개인 프라이버시 침해를 방지할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 불특정다수가 이용하는 많은 양의 아이템을 취급하는 공공도서관에서 RFID시스템을 도입함에 따라 예상되는 개인 프라이버시 침해를 방지하기 위해 보안 요구사항을 만족하면서 시스템 사용 환경에 맞는 프라이버시 보호 방식을 제안한다.

본 논문은 디지털 도서관에서 임의의 음악정보를 효율적으로 검색하기 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 종래의 전형적인 음악정보 검색 항목인 제목이나 작곡자 또는 주제를 입력하는 것이 아니라, 사용자가 음악 데이터베이스로부터 검색하고자 하는 음악의 일부를 마이크를 통해서 노래한다. 그러면 입력된 선율에 대한 음 신호를 처리하여 음표정보를 인식하고, 이를 바탕으로 음정곡선을 생성하여 이를 탐색 패턴으로 사용한다. 동요를 대상으로 하여 음악 데이터베이스를 생성할 때는 각각의 곡에서 추출한 음정곡선을 이용하여 색인과 메타 데이터를 생성하는데, 색인은 유사 탐색을 용이하게 하기 위해서 Trie 구조를 사용한다. 탐색패턴을 이용해서 메타 데이터를 탐색할 때는 동적 프로그래밍 방법을 이용하여 유사 탐색을 함으로써 노래의 어느 마리를 부르더라도 쉽게 후보곡을 검색할 수 있도록 한다. 통상음악의 첫째 동기를 부르는 경우가 많기 때문에 첫째 악절로 구성한 색인을 먼저 탐색토록하고, 색인에서 탐색을 실패한 경우(음악의 첫째 동기 이후를 부른 경우)에 메타 데이터를 이용한 유사 음표열 탐색을 하도록 하여 효율적인 검색이 되도록 하였다.

마트, 식당, 도서관 등 우리 주변 많은 곳에서 바코드가 사용되고 있다. 바코드는 주로 ISBN, Code128, Code39 등의 형식이 쓰이는데 그중 Code 128은 ASCII Code를 기반으로 하기 때문에 ASCII Code 0번부터 32번까지의 제어 문자를 바코드에 담을 수 있다. 제어 문자는 본래 프린터 또는 통신 접속구 등 주변 장치에 정보를 전달하기 위하여 사용되는 문자를 뜻하지만 Windows상에서 입력될 시 전혀 다른 역할을 한다. 주로 바코드 기기에서 입력 값을 검증하지 않으므로 이를 이용해 제어 문자를 담은 바코드를 태깅해 명령 프롬포트를 열고 명령을 실행할 수 있다. 또한 대부분의 바코드 인식 프로그램이 DB를 사용하고, 보안이 다른 프로그램들에 비해 취약하다는 점에서 SQL Injection 공격 가능성을 제시한다.

This study is to examine the research trends of bibliotherapy in Korea through an analysis of databases(monograph, master's and doctor's dissertations, and journal articles) in National Assembly Library and to analyze the citations and documents in various aspects(year, field, object, pattern) . The study is to present basic data for bibliotherapist and researcher and to indicate the direction of their study in the future.

Information Commons는 정보환경, 이용자 요구 및 도서관 역할변화 등 전반적인 조직변화를 요구한다. 조직변화에 대해 구성원들은 필연적으로 저항태도를 가지게 되며 저항태도의 여러 요인 중에는 구성원이 소속된 조직 수준의 요인이 존재한다. IC를 도입하거나 미도입한 기관 사서들의 IC 인식수준과 조직의 지지부문의 유무에 따라 변화에 대한 태도 양상 차이와 조직 수준의 요인을 알아보고 저항태도의 조직적 관리를 통해 조직변화를 촉진할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the emotional and behavioral characteristics of information seeking of university students in context in which a class assignment should be completed. An attempt was made to understand better individualized and selective behavior observed while seeking information in the commonly defined context. Data was collected from content analysis of self-reports by 54 university students majoring in library and information science. Major findings were analyzed in relation to the preception and feelings over, and barriers and strategies of seeking information, and the use of information resources.

본 연구는 이용자 지향적 평가의 의의와 타당성을 규명하기 위하여 연구과정에서 개인의 지식과 상황 및 인지적 요인의 변화에 따라 이용자가 인식하는 검색문헌의 적합성을 평가하는 기준들의 변화를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 방법은 이론가설을 설정하고 이의 검증을 위하여 실제 연구문제를 가지고 있는 5명의 이용자를 대상으로 그들의 연구과정에 따라 적합성을 평가하는 기준들과 그 기준들의 변화양상을 관찰하는 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과의 분석에는 빈도분석, 상관분석, 일원분산분석이 활용되었다. 그 결과 연구자들은 연구과정에 따라 적합성을 평가하는 기준이 다르게 나타났으며, 평가자에 따라서도 각기 다른 평가기준이 사용되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

In this study. a technical report management system using optical technology is described in detail. This management system is designed for both bibliographic (character) and full-text (image) information. Several optical filing systems already on the Korean market are scrutinized and compared with standard functions in order to build a more efficient management system for technical reports which can be easily integrated into existing KRISS library automation system. For that purpose, up-to-date technologies (i.e., digital image PI-ocessing (DIP), MARC standards, and optical character recognition (OCR), etc.) are applied to this system.

전자문서 환경에서의 annotation은 종이 문서 환경에 비하여 다양한 장점을 제공하기 때문에, 현재 웹 및 hand-held 환경을 기반으로 하는 여러 분야에서 응용 및 적용되고 있다. 한편 annotation 인터페이스 중 paper-like annotation interface (PLAi)는 직관적인 자유형 마킹 생성 및 최소의 작업 오버헤드 보장 둥의 장점을 제공한다. 그러나 현재의 annotation 시스템에서는 대부분 PLAi를 제외한 서로 다른 인터페이스를 사용하고 있으며 이는 모든 환경에 PLAi을 적용하기에는 기술적 혹은 사용성 측면에서 다수의 부정적인 요인을 포함하기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 데스크탑 및 hand-held 등과 같은 다양한 환경에서도 적용 가능한 PLAi를 제안하고자 하며, 특히 자유형 마킹에 대한 인식 및 보정 인터랙션이 지원되는 지능형 annotation 입력 인터페이스를 설계한다. 그 결과 제안된 인터페이스의 인터랙션 기법들은 다양한 환경에서도 PLAi의 장점을 최대한 지원할 수 있는 동시에, e-Learing, 전자교범, 온라인 교정, 전자도서관, 전자책 등의 분야에 적용 가능하다.
