DisplayPort 1.1a Standard Based Multiple Video Streaming Controller Design (디스플레이포트1.1a 표준 기반 멀티플 비디오 스트리밍 컨트롤러 설계)

  • Recently many display devices support the digital display interface as display market growth. DisplayPort is a next generation display interface at the PC, projector and high definition content applications in more widely used connection solution development. This paper implements multiple streams based on the behavior of the main link that is suitable for the display port v1.1a standard. The limit point of Displayport, interface between the Sink Device and Sink Device is also implemented. And two or more differential image data are enable to output the result through four Lanes stated in display port v1.1a, of two or more display devices without the addition of a separate Lane. The Multiple Video Streaming Controller is implemented with 6,222 ALUTs and 6,686 register, 999,424 of block memory bits synthesized using Quartus II at Altera Audio/Video Development board (Stratix II GX FPGA Chip).

Properties of alternative VaR for multivariate normal distributions (다변량 정규분포에서 대안적인 VaR의 특성)

  • The most useful financial risk measure may be VaR (Value at Risk) which estimates the maximum loss amount statistically. The VaR tends to be estimated in many industries by using transformed univariate risk including variance-covariance matrix and a specific portfolio. Hong et al. (2016) are defined the Vector at Risk based on the multivariate quantile vector. When a specific portfolio is given, one point among Vector at Risk is founded as the best VaR which is called as an alternative VaR (AVaR). In this work, AVaRs have been investigated for multivariate normal distributions with many kinds of variance-covariance matrix and various portfolio weight vectors, and compared with VaRs. It has been found that the AVaR has smaller values than VaR. Some properties of AVaR are derived and discussed with these characteristics.

  • A number of Internet application services are used with the development of Internet backbone nowadays. Well-known services such as WWW, ]n, email are provided at first time. Tremendous unwell-known services are presented according to the demands of various contents. After analyzing PDU information of the packet using unwell-known port travelling on the internet, searching internet service type and its statistical data is provided with internet traffic analyst as very useful information. This paper presents the mechanism to extract the internet application services operated on (un)well-known port of UDP or TCP used occasionally through netflow and tcpdump method introduced by ethereal and the operation scheme of the service. Afterwards to get the detailed statistics of the analyzed application service, the agent and the server environment, the agent gathering raw data traffics and the server adapting the traffic received from the agent BNF(Backus-Naur Form) method, is also introduced. Adapting the presented mechanism eve. LAN of Andong national university, the internet traffic service type and the detailed statistics of the analyzed application services which provides with internet traffic analyst are presented as very useful information.

  • This paper proposes to develop multi-currencies portfolio strategy using principal component analysis (PCA) and logistic regression (LR) in foreign exchange market. While there is a great deal of literature about the analysis of exchange market, there is relatively little work on developing trading strategies in foreign exchange markets. There are two objectives in this paper. The first objective is to suggest portfolio allocation method by applying PCA. The other objective is to determine market timing which is the strategy of making buy or sell decision using LR. The results of this study show that proposed model is useful trading strategy in foreign exchange market and can be desirable solution which gives lots of investors an important investment information.

Unequal Power Divider based on Adjustment Electrical Length of Uniform Transmission Line (단일 전송선로의 전기적 길이 조정을 이용한 비대칭 분배기)

  • In this paper, an unequal power divider based on adjusting electrical length of uniform transmission line is presented. This divider consists of three uniform transmission lines and one isolation resistor and have the different port impedances of input and output. The feature of proposed divider can changed the power dividing ratio to adjust only electrical length of uniform transmission lines. To verify the feasibility of proposed power divider, two divider circuits are designed, one is 1:2 power dividing ratio divider with $60{\Omega}$ uniform transmission line and $40{\Omega}$ input port impedances and $45{\Omega}$ output port impedances, the performance data were measured the insertion losses of 1.7 dB/ 5.0 dB, return losses of more than -30 dB and isolation of more than -35 dB. The other is 1:4 power dividing ratio divider with $40{\Omega}$ uniform transmission line and $50{\Omega}$ input port impedances and $75{\Omega}$ output port impedances, the performance data were measured the insertion losses of 1.3 dB/ 6.8 dB, return losses of more than -12 dB and isolation of more than -19 dB. The measured performance data agreed well with the simulated results.

Corporate Venture Capital and Technological Innovation: Effects of Investment Portfolio Composition (사내벤처캐피탈의 투자포트폴리오 운영성향과 기술혁신 효과)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine whether investment portfolio composition affects the technological performance of corporate venture capital (CVC). The stages of investment are categorized from "start-up/seed", "early", and "expansion", to "later" stage. We posit and test that the investment stage composition in a portfolio is highly correlated with the growth potential and downside risk of the portfolio, which in turn influences an investor's innovation performance. To test this hypothesis, we used negative binomial panel regression with 21 years of deal data from 70 cases of CVC. The results show that there is an inverted U shaped relationship between investment portfolio composition and technological performance. This means that the more seed or early stage investment within the investment portfolio, the higher the innovation performance; however, if the amount of seed or early stage investment is over a certain level, the performance decreases. Further, this study finds that the external partners of a venture negatively moderate the inverted U shaped relationship between portfolio composition and innovation performance. We believe that corporate planners, venture capitalists, and policy makers will be helped by these results showing that companies can maximize their investment performance by considering the investment stage and progress of investments.

  • 본 연구는 릴레이의 코일 접점 신호의 검출을 송신기에서 코일의 데이터를 검출하고 4-20mA데이터를 1/5,000까지의 분해능으로 환산하되 블루투스를 이용한 무선통신으로 전송할 수 있도록 하여 송신기의 각 코일에서 검출된 데이터 값을 인디케이터에 전송하고 다시 릴레이 코일 신호로 만들어 표시하고 제어하도록 한 것이다. 데이터의 전송은 1Port 에서 10 Port까지 릴레이 코일 및 4-20mA 물리량을 이용하여 검출대상의 접점 리액턴스를 각각 측정하여 블루투스를 이용한 무선통신 데이터 값을 송신하는 코일의 접점 송신수단과 상기 릴레이 접점 송신수단으로부터 전송된 데이터 값을 블루투스를 이용하여 무선통신으로 수신한 후, 상기 릴레이 접점에서 전송된 각각의 데이터 값과 전체 물리량으로 연산 처리된 데이터 값을 디스플레이 하고, 데이터의 디스플레이된 값을 통해 리액턴스 출력, 경보음출력, RS232, 4-20mA 출력이 발생되게 하는 인디케이터로 구성하는 블루투스를 이용한 10 Port 코일 리프트 제어 콘트롤러이다.

  • 현재 통신시스템에서 많이 사용되고 있는 Xilinx FPGA를 이용하여, 여러 가지 로직을 구현하고 데이터 전달특성을 분석하기 위하여 신호의 노이즈와 데이터 손실을 방지하기 위하여 10층의 PCB(Printed Circuit Board)를 만들었다. FPGA에 클럭과 64bit의 데이터를 동기 시켜 전송선로의 길이의 변화와 입력된 클럭의 주파수 변화에 따른 최대 안정된 데이터 전달속도와 전송선로의 길이를 알아보았다. 제작된 PCB보드에서 FPGA의 출력 핀에서 출력포트 사이의 전송선로 길이는 13cm이며 확장된 테스트용 전송선로 보드의 길이는 30cm, 60cm, 120cm이다. 그러므로 전송선로의 길이를 13cm, 43cm, 73cm, 133cm간격으로 측정하였으며, 데이터 전송특성에 대한 클럭 주파수는 10MHz, 50MHz, 100MHz, 125MHz, 150MHz로 나누어 측정하였다. 데이터 전달 특성에서 125Mbps까지는 불가능 하지만 전송선로의 길이가 30cm일 경우 최대 100Mbps까지 안정하게 데이터를 전달할 수 있었다.

  • 최근 데이터의 양이 기하급수적으로 증가하면서 빅데이터가 이슈가 되어 많은 관심을 받고 있는 현실이다. 현재 빅데이터의 기술은 데이터 추출과 이용에만 초점이 맞춰져 있어 보안에 취약한 시스템에 해킹시도가 있을 경우 개인과 기업에 막대한 피해가 발생될 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 빅데이터 보안에 초점을 두어 외부로부터 피해를 방지하고 안전하게 빅데이터 서버를 운영하는 방법을 제시한다. 즉, Iptable을 이용한 IP나 포트 허용 여부를 지정하고 가상사설망(VPN)을 이용하여 외부 접속을 방지하며 패스워드 강화를 통해 빅데이터 서버의 보안 강화 및 활용 방안을 제시하였다.

  • In this study, data transmission ratio and power consumption issues of Zigbee based sensor module and personal digital assistant(PDA) were addressed to develop ECG telemetry device. PDA processes the data transmitted through serial port using non-blocking method. The transmission rate was dependent on the packet structure. It was 300 ECG samples/sec, when each packet was composed of 2 ECG data and 3-axial acceleration vector. Using two AAA batteries in series, operating time of the wireless sensor module was above 28 hours in average. Power consumption of PDA was dependent on screen ON/OFF condition and serial port usage. In this application, operating time of PDA was 5 hours in average. In conclusion, there was no problem in the power consumption of wireless sensor module and transmission rate, when the developed device was used as 24 hour Holter device. But, PDA has the problem of power consumption, which should be solved.
