Objective: The purpose of the study is to investigate the curriculum development and operation based on national competency standard (NCS). Methods: The duty of the dental hygienist was analyzed based on DACUM by ten experts in January, 2011. The duty model of the dental hygienist was inspected after duty analysis. The subjects of choice were preventive dentistry and practice. The satisfaction with the subjects were carried out from March to June, 2015. Results: The duty analysis of dental hygienist by DACUM produced preventive dental treatment(11 tasks), oral health education(3 tasks), comprehensive dental hygiene treatment(6 tasks) and 12 categories(156 tasks). Preventive dental treatment was divided into preventive dentistry and practice, oral health education was changed into oral health education and practice, and comprehensive dental hygiene treatment was replace by comprehensive dental hygiene and practice. The contents of preventive dentistry and practice included outline, learning objective, related knowledge and self evaluation. Professional evaluation required mutual experience and evaluation of the students. The mutual evaluation of the students was $4.61{\pm}0.506$(dental plaque control) and $1.80{\pm}0.316$(tooth brushing). The professional evaluation was $1.73{\pm}0.274$(dental plaque control) and $1.60{\pm}0.322$(tooth brushing)(p<0.01). The satisfaction with preventive dentistry and practice was $4.61{\pm}0.506$(improvement in practical work ability), $4.58{\pm}0.511$(knowledge improvement) and $4.55{\pm}0.572$(NCS educational environment) in order. Conclusions: The operation of NCS curriculum is considered to improve practical work ability and to solve skill mismatch between dental industries and educational training institutions.

As the broadcasting system rapidly migrates to the HD contents production, a broadcasting professional training program has increasingly requested, which provides a professional ability keeping up with new demands and a systematic well-organized education program. This paper utilized a DACUM(developing a curriculum) method for a video editor's job analysis and presented a job model of video editing. With a DACUM job analysis, we retrieved 9 essential job duties and 71 tasks, and then examined their importance, difficulty, frequency, and entry level tasks that are required before job hire. We also established a well-form structure of the job analysis results, completed a DACUM research chart, and consequently built a video editor's job model in TV broadcasting and video production areas. The proposed model is expected to be used as a fundamental material for a future job organization of video editors in TV broadcasting and video production areas, a development of the educational curriculum, and a priority decision of on-the-job training programs.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the needs of HIV/AIDS care and to develop the job description of HIV/AIDS Counselling nurse in Korea. Methods: The needs assessment was done by focus group interview with HIV/AIDS care recipients who are 16 persons living with HIV/AIDS and four their family members, seven persons from HIV/AIDS high risk group, and five nurses working on HIV/AIDS clinics. Based on the result of needs assessment, job description was developed using the DACUM. Mail survey was done to identify the frequency, importance, and difficulty of duties, tasks, and task elements. Results: The job description was classified under 8 duties, 36 tasks, and 290 task elements. Duties were categorized as needs assessment, health promotion and quality of life, improvement of treatment compliance, symptom care, health education, resource network, administrative activity, and career development. The importance of all duties and tasks showed high score from the survey, but the frequency and the performance level were middle range. Conclusion: It is suggested that the special training program based on the job description needs to be developed. In the political aspects, the introduction of HIV/AIDS nurse specialist certification could be considered.

Purpose: This study aimed to conduct a job analysis of nurse carecoordinators and to identify the frequency, importance and difficulty of each task of their job. Methods: A committee for developing a curriculum (DACUM) was formed and members of the committee defined nurse care coordinators' jobs and enumerated the duties, tasks and task elements by applying the DACUM technique. Then nurse care coordinators enrolled in the pilot project evaluated the frequency, importance and difficulty of each task. Results: From the job descriptions of nurse care coordinators, we identified 12 duties and 42 tasks. Each task comprised 1~5 task elements. Among tasks, 'assess the patient's general health status' was carried out most frequently. Nurse care coordinators perceived that 'check vital signs' and 'strengthen patient competence to promote health behaviors' were more important than all other tasks. The most difficult task was 'develop professionalism as a nurse care coordinator'. Conclusion: The nurse care coordinators' roles developed in this study will serve as the key guidelines for human resource management of care coordinators. Further, job specifications for nurse care coordinators need to be developed, which is necessary for designing education and training programs. We also need to integrate primary health care as an essential component in nursing education.

This study was carried out to analyze the job of care managers in their social welfare practicing fields about the frequency of care management duties they perform, types of duties considered to be most important and the reason, and types of jobs counted to be the most difficult and the reason by qualitative case study research methods. The job area of care management was elicited using DACUM method, and those 9 job areas derived from it were analysed according to frequency of performance, importance and difficulty. The subjects were 10 social workers serving more than 3 years with major duty of care management and chosen by reputational-case selection, and those collected data analysis was operated according to embedded analysis types. We discussed the implication of this research. : The experience of participants are the process of maintaining the tension, and search the equilibrium point between client centered service and institutional pressure. This paper is aimed to design for qualification structure and criteria for preparation of qualification test of the environmental impact assessor qualifications. In this study, a DACUM(Development A curriculum) method job analysis to extract contents such as task range, eligibility, examination standards, selection criteria of examination questions, examination methods, etc was done by an job analysis committee composed of 9 specialists in the industry and academia. In the first place, this report presents job analysis models by procedures for developing selection criteria of examination questions of the environmental impact assessor. The first step is preparation for job analysis(data research, interviews and selection of experts), the second step the establishment of job models(first expert council and site study), the third step the drawn-out of knowledge, skills, and tools(the second expert council and site study), the fourth step the selection of courses and an examination subject(the third expert council), the fifth step the establishment of guidelines for making questions(the third site study).

This study has been carried out in an effort to bring light on the job scope which is required among the fashion models in Korea, then to sort out the concrete items of job pursuant to the job scope for the systemization of them. For this study, ten models who majored a fields of industry and the college in Korea, have gathered to analyze the job of the fashion models using the DACUM. As a result of it, the jobs of the fashion models have been classified into 7 duties and subsequent 86 tasks, while the fashion models entry jobs have been divided into 32 tasks(37.21%) that are necessary in the college before appointment. The result of analysis which investigates the relation between the significancy, the degree of difficulty and the frequency of the business, has it that the number of high-significancy business rises to 46 tasks(53.49%), high degree of difficulty business reaches to 21 tasks(24.41%), high frequency business is 18 tasks(20.93%), high degree of significancy and difficulty business stands at 13(15.12%), high significancy and frequency business amounts to 16 tasks(18.60%), and high degree of significancy, difficulty and frequency business reaches to 7 tasks(8.14%) respectively. These results should be actively reflected on the college curriculum before appointment, and on the job retraining courses for the incumbent fashion models, so as to enhance their job competency.

Even though it is expected the industry on new media contents will be grown constantly, corporate feels that the related specialists, human resources are so lack and it is real that the specialty level on related personnel, skilled works is low. In current situation, it is essential that the active supports will be given to new media contents industry with constant high quality human resource development as a winning point to success. Therefore the curriculum development must be reflected the current field situation in this industry for the human resource to meet the field corporate requirements. The DACUM method is used to develop the curriculum on this study in order to develop the college level human resources who have active adoptability to corporate in new media contents industry.

In this study, we tried to find qualification items that qualified the processing skill of information and internet application on information and communication industry. The purpose of this research is to detect operation condition of national, private, and many other qualifications using digital information application ability and then developed new qualification items which able to solve problems on present qualification items. Related works and the data analysis for this study were performed and the committee that is composed of qualification item experts, professor, and the person in charge of Korea information & communication institute was held in twice.

This research purpose to improve the qualification items for electronic commerce manager. Former qualification system for the electronic commerce manager was executed 11 times from year 2000 to 2005. To improve the standard for test questions and contents of qualification items, we reviewed literatures about job analysis for electronic commerce manager, electronic commerce curriculum, e-Business market and other countries' similar qualification systems and items. We also analysed the job related knowledge, skill, and abilities using job analysis by DACUM method, subject matter experts interview and workshop committee for development and validation of qualification items. Based on the results of job analysis and DACUM workshop, we derived a job model for electronic commerce manager and then validated it through field survey and additional expert review. Finally we developed and suggested an alternated qualification items using matrix analysis between categorized job knowledge and job tasks.
