Sustainability is a broad concept involving economic, social and environmental issues in operational and managerial processes. To assist ports to implant sustainability practices into their operations, this paper conceptualizes the structure of sustainability practice in port operations, based on interviews undertaken at Busan port in early 2013. Results revealed that, as a strategic practice to improve their internal business processes, sustainability practices necessitate the simultaneous pursuit of container traffic growth, low environmental impacts and corporate responsible image making, operational efficiency, efficiency of the use of the port area and sustainable growth. Through thematic analysis, the relevant practices were clustered into four sub-dimensions incorporating environmental technologies, continual monitoring and upgrading, internal process improvement, and cooperation and communication. Further, reporting the relevant issues such as barriers and challenges in carrying out sustainability practices, the findings provide useful insights for strategic agenda to assist ports to incorporate sustainability practices in their operations.

Hybrid video call healthcare system that we propose in thesis is a service for powerless people rather than ordinary people. This system is for communication between users and protectors(or volunteers). To reduce the underprivileged through the 'Malbeot Nanumi' is the purpose of the system. Hybrid Health Care System using a video call and temperature/humidity/pulse sensors that we propose in thesis can connect sensors with software, and save p2p connection information for 'Malbeot Nanumi' service by database. And health check data can save locally. Hybrid Health Care System in a Wireless Network Environment is a system that elderly people living alone is to be a conversation. The purpose of this thesis is to develop the software and to design a convenient UI to the user, And increasing consumption of care system by increasing the happiness index and increasing aging population.

This paper proposes an item based learning system using e-mail in order to motivate learners effectively and avoid the bottleneck problem under highly competitive access situations such as the traditional web based learning. The proposed system has th ree features as follows: first, through e-mail, a learner receives test items depending on his/her level, submit an answer sheet, and then identify an assessment with help messages. Secondly, on the web, an instructor easily constructs item database without any other tools and monitors the status of each learner by identifying the learners' record. Finally, an easy-to-use interaction mechanism enhances the inter-activity between learners and instructors, and the usability of Q&A(Question and Answer) service by incorporating e-mail into the web bulletin board.

Recently, the side effects from the online game is appearing to adolescent to serious level. This research studied the system to protect adolescent from excessive game usage, the system to limit an online game service connection at the midnight time. Namely we found at a shutdown system introduction of adolescent out about cognition, problems with the game poisoning and effects with shutdown system and alternative policy. The investigation results were as follows. First, only 17.5% of adolescent knew a shutdown system. Second, they were recognizing about the game poisoning seriously. Also the half degree thought them efficiently about a shutdown system introduction. The policy about a shutdown system introduction were as follows. First, public education is activate, and we must keep adolescent from exposing to private education in the entrance examine competition. Second, we need the thing to increase the conversation time of the children with put parents to develop desirable family education program. Lastly, the supply must be achieved with leisure culture contents development of adolescent.

This paper presents the content regarding electronic medical examination chart and data processing for efficient medical examination and fast treatment by realizing remote medical examination system of mutual conversation type among 3 parties(patient, doctor, pharmacist) on internet base, and establishment of database enabled system integration for efficient data processing in both on-line and off-line mode by interconnecting ASP and SQL on IIS 4.0 web server, consultation between patient and doctor, medical examination on off-line mode, transmission of prescription sheet to the pharmacist designated by patient, preparation of medicine, semieternal storage of medical examination data owing to storage and check of medical examination data, more accurate medical examination and prescription using this medical examination data by patient and doctor, and so on. And, data processing between doctor and pharmacist is differently performed based on class such as general member and charge member, and service access right pursuant to this is endowed, so that certification of each member must follow by all means.

The current IP Routing Protocolspacket networks also need to provide the network QoS based of DiffServ, RSVP, MPLStraffic model which is standardized as IETF reference model for NGN. The first topic of this paper is to propose Traffic-Balanced Routing Protocol(TBRP) to process existing best effort traffic. TBRP will process low priority interactive data and background data which is not sensitive to dealy. Secondly Hierarchical Traffic-Traffic-Scheduling Routing Protocol(HTSRP) is also proposed. HTSRP is the hierarchical routing algorithm for backbone and access networkin case of fixed-wireless convergence network. Finally, HTSRP_Q is proposed to meet the QoS requirement when user want interactive or streaming packet service. This protocol will maximize the usage of resources of access layer based on the QoS parameters and process delay-sensitive traffic. Service classes are categorized into 5 types by the user request, such as conversational, streaming, high priority interactive, low priority interactive, and background class. It could be processed efficiently by the routing protocolstraffic model proposed in this paper. The proposed routing protocolstraffic model provides the increase of efficiency and stability of the next generation network thanks to the routing according to the characteristic of the specialized service categories.

Recently, the need for multimedia devices, such as digital TV, and camcorder has increased. These devices provide many services on multimedia files such as playing, recording, and editing. Throughout these services, in case of storing edited large-scaled multimedia files, existing file system have several capability problems that are taking too much time and requiring disk I/O. In this paper, we propose the use of Linux Ext2 file system based 'Block-Link file (BL-file) system' in order to solve these problems. For the BL-file system, when editing and storing large-scaled files, there is no data input or output but only modification of the metadata. Additionally, by sharing data blocks between multimedia files, we can save disk spaces. Moreover, because the managing of data block sharing information is more convenient than the existing FWAE technique, we can lessen system overhead. The BL-file system is based on Ext2 file system and implemented in a Linux environment, and the usefulness of the proposed technique is validated by applying the Linux multimedia file-editing tool 'Avidemux'.

We cover the 'Youth Archivists Program' of '4.16 memory archives' at this time. This archives has a special meaning in Korea. 'Youth Archivists Program' is an program of archival service in this archives. We suggest archival service based on social relationship by this case study. We have verified that there are some archival services based on social relationship in Korea. We hope that archival service based on social relationship should be an serious issue in Archival community.

This paper examines why Japan's nation branding strategy is not working in South Korea in spite of expanding relations between Korea and Japan. Japan has successfully managed its national reputation, which altered its image around the world. However, Japan's nation-image in South Korea has not kept up with its efforts internationally. Political and economic interactions between Korea and Japan have increased throughout the past decades since the normalization of diplomatic relations in 1965. Also, the normalization of cultural-social relations emerged after the Korean government policy restricting Japanese popular culture was removed in the 1990s and overseas travel was liberalized in 1989. In spite of the improvement in politico-cultural-social relations, trust-building efforts still stagnate between the two countries. This paper discusses the reasons behind this phenomenon and provides some suggestions to solve this issue.

Recently, the number of elderly people residing in nursing homes has increased rapidly due to the increase in the elderly population and the introduction of long-term care insurance. These long-term care patients suffer from chronic illnesses and dementia, and thus suffer from inconveniences or lack of cognitive ability. Thus, psychological and emotional support is urgent because they are depressed away from their families. Therefore, in this paper, we aim to provide a virtual experience of overseas trips by using VR and Photon networks for elderly patients with mobility difficulties. Existing VR-based travel experience service is doing alone, but the proposed contents can enjoy the scenery together with the view of the family member as well as the conversation during the travel experience. It is expected that the elderly patients with long - term care will be able to restore their psychological stability and improve their willingness to heal and improve their quality of life from the proposed application.
