  • 셋탑 박스와 같은 내장형 타겟 시스템의 자원 제약으로 인해 내장형 실시간 응용을 효율적으로 개발하기 위해서는 원격 호스트 상에서 동작하는 응용 개발 도구가 필요시 된다. 본 논문에서는 호스트 상의 원격 디버거, 대화형 쉘, 자원 모니터와 같은 응용 개발 도구들의 타겟 접근을 최소화하고 통신 채널을 하나로 유지하기 위해 호스트와 타겟 간의 중개자 역할을 하는 타겟 서버를 설계 구현한 내용에 대해 기술한다. 우리가 개발한 타겟 서버는 호스트-타겟 통신 방식, 실행 모듈 형식에 독립적인 구조이며, 도구의 확장성을 고려하여 Open API를 제공한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기계부품 요소의 설계와 분석에 사용되는 대화식 Graphics package KIMMPAK 을 설계.구현하였다. 2차원의 Plotting 루틴과 Device driver로 구성된 KIMMPAK은 TEKTRONIX 그래픽 터미널을 Drive할 수 있는 PLOT10-TCS와, IBM-PC용의 Multi-HALO(MHA¬LO), 그리고 HP Plotter의 PLOT-21 그래픽 라이브러리를 이용하여 Device Driver를 구축하였다. 이로 인한 KIMMPAK의 Device 독립성의 증가는 패키지 자체의 호환성 및 신뢰성을 높이고 있다. KIMMPAK은 VAX/VMS V4 . 2 운영체제하에서 FORTRAN-77의 부프로그램 형태로 구현되어 있으며, IBM-PC에서 사용 가능하도록 MS-FORTRAN으로 변화된 PC용 KIMMPAK이 따로 설계.구현되었다.

  • 기존치 임베디드 시스템 환경에서 대용량의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 검색, 전송 및 재생하는데는 제한된 리소스로 인해 한계전이 있었다. 압축률이 좋고, 전송 및 재생에 효과적인 MPEG-4 시스템의 표준을 따르며. 다양한 대화형 멀티미디어를 프리젠테이션 할 수 있는 기법이 요구된다. 본 논문은 임베디드 시스템에서 DM과 연동하여 비디오/오디오의 재생 제어를 효율적으로 하고, 모듈을 동적으로 로드/언로드하여 저용량의 메모리를 사용하는 MPEG-4 미디어 프리젠테이션 기법을 제안한다.

  • The computer manipulation by means of natural language prcessing will be not only helpful to use the computer with more simple and more comfortable but also flexiable to communicate between human and computers.In this paper the natural language interfaces will be applied to an intelligent geography tutoring systems(IGTS),and we will inspect the something to consider in the case of its implementation.Each module of IGTS is connected to the interface module and correspondence with each other for the sake of natural conversation between system and learner.

  • Blenderbot 2.0 is a dialogue model representing open domain chatbots by reflecting real-time information and remembering user information for a long time through an internet search module and multi-session. Nevertheless, the model still has many improvements. Therefore, this paper analyzes the limitations and errors of BlenderBot 2.0 from three perspectives: model, data, and dialogue. From the data point of view, we point out errors that the guidelines provided to workers during the crowdsourcing process were not clear, and the process of refining hate speech in the collected data and verifying the accuracy of internet-based information was lacking. Finally, from the viewpoint of dialogue, nine types of problems found during conversation and their causes are thoroughly analyzed. Furthermore, practical improvement methods are proposed for each point of view, and we discuss several potential future research directions.

  • In this paper we propose a layout editor for the functional module generation in the Sea-of Gates(SOG) lay-out style. The proposed layout editor provides interactive was of designing a functional module to the designer so that the layout result is very satisfiable. Especially, the editor is independent on the shape of the basic cells in the gate array template, and provides semi-automatic layout methods as well as hand layout. It also has several special functions which are not able to find in other layout tools for the module generation, and hence the designer can generate modules very fast. The layout editors implemented in C language with X-win-dow Motif environment. When we compare our editor with the previous layout editor Seadali, the design time is reduced by a factor of two for several benchmark circuits.

  • To construct distance learing servers and provide their service using the WWW(World Wide Web), it is necessary that we use a real-time processing mehtod rather than the processing after downloading method for multimedia data transmission and their processing.To fulfill such requirements, we developed a real-time processing muduloe for distance education which can process multimedia data in AVI and WAV formats in distrbuted eviroments.We in turn developede a real-time WWW server that can provide real-time services of hypertxt and motion poctures data in temsw of adding the real-time porcessing modute to the MuX framework and intergarting them with WWW. We frnally developed as distance lerming system for real-time interactive chinese character learming, bassed on the results from the pre-vious steps.

  • This paper is concerned with development of a communication module of POFS(Parallel Operating File System), which is the parallel file system to be operated on SPAX computer. SPAX is multiprocessor computer with clustering SMP architecture and being developed by ETRI. The operating system for SPAX is MISIX based on the Chorus microkernel. POFS has client/server architecture basically so that it is important to design a communication module. The communication module is so easily affected by network environment that bad design is the major reason that decreases the portability and performance of the parallel file system. This paper describes the structure and performance of the communication of the POFS. the theme is issued in the course of designing and developing POFS. The communication module of POFS was designed to support the portability and the architecture of parallel file system.

  • We present a client-server system architecture for inferring genetic interaction networks based on Bayesian networks. It is typical to take tens of hours when genome-wide large-scale genetic interaction networks are inferred in the form of Bayesian networks. To deal with this situation, batch-style distributed system architectures are preferable to interactive standalone architectures. Thus, we have implemented a loosely coupled client-server system for network inference and user interface. The network inference consists of two stages. Firstly, the proposed method divides a whole gene set into overlapped modules, based on biological annotations and expression data together. Secondly, it infers Bayesian networks for each module, and integrates the learned subnetworks to a global network through common genes across the modules.

  • In this paper we studied English listening and speaking test part of foreign language using web and VoiceXML-based education testing system, which is irrespective of time and space. The testing system interface based on VoiceXML consists of user registration module, testing module, and testing result module. User registration module registers user's name and ID, password in user database, and when a tester calls for testing, the User listens to the telephone sound supported by vxml scenario. After that, if a tester logs in, the tester is verified, In the VoiceXML-based education testing system, the manager can reduce time and effort for gaining testing result. The tester listens to the voice by scenario supported by VoiceXML markup language using wire/wireless telephone at any time or anywhere and can improve the effect of foreign language studying by valuating in voice directly. verified.
