A Real-Time Embedded Speech Recognition System (실시간 임베디드 음성 인식 시스템)

  • In this study, we'd implemented a real time embedded speech recognition system that requires minimum memory size for speech recognition engine and DB. The word to be recognized consist of 40 commands used in a PCS phone and 10 digits. The speech data spoken by 15 male and 15 female speakers was recorded and analyzed by short time analysis method, which window size is 256. The LPC parameters of each frame were computed through Levinson-Burbin algorithm and they were transformed to Cepstrum parameters. Before the analysis, speech data should be processed by pre-emphasis that will remove the DC component in speech and emphasize high frequency band. Baum-Welch reestimation algorithm was used for the training of HMM. In test phone, we could get a recognition rate using likelihood method. We implemented an embedded system by porting the speech recognition engine on ARM core evaluation board. The overall recognition rate of this system was 95%, while the rate on 40 commands was 96% and that 10 digits was 94%.

The Relationships among High School Students' Epistemological Views on Theory and Data, Science Process Skills, Perceptions of Preferred Laboratory Learning Environment and Attitudes toward Laboratory Work (고등학생들의 이론과 자료에 대한 인식론적 관점과 과학 과정 기술, 선호하는 실험 학습 환경에 대한 인식, 실험 수업에 대한 태도 사이의 관계)

  • In this study, the relationships among high school students' epistemological views on theory and data, science process skills, the perceptions of the preferred laboratory learning environment and attitudes toward laboratory work were investigated. The results indicated that science process skills, all subcategories of the perceptions of the preferred laboratory learning environment (student cohesiveness, open-endedness, integration, rule clarity, and material environment) and attitudes toward laboratory work were significantly correlated with epistemological views on theory and data. The results of multiple regression analysis revealed that science process skills, open-endedness and material environment and attitudes toward laboratory work significantly predicted epistemological views on theory and data.

  • Based on risk-benefit theory, this study examined a structural equation model accounting for the mechanisms through which affective perceptions of AI predicting individuals' support for the government's Ai policies. Four perceived characteristics of AI (i.e., usefulness, entertainment value, privacy concern, threat of human replacement) were investigated in relation to perceived benefits/risks, attitudes toward AI, and AI policy support, based on a nationwide sample of South Korea (N=352). The hypothesized model was well supported by the data: Perceived usefulness was a strong predictor of perceived benefit, which in turn predicted attitude and support. Perceived benefit and attitude played significant roles as mediators. Perceived entertainment value along with perceived usefulness and privacy concern predicted attitude, not perceived benefit. Neither attitude nor support was significantly associated with perceived risk which was predicted by privacy concern. Theoretical and practical implications of the results are discussed.

A Study on Parenting Parents' Recognitions of Child Abuse: Focused on Q Methodology (양육중인 부모의 아동학대에 대한 인식: Q 방법으로)

  • I think it would be better to rewrite the Korean abstract. To analyze the personal characteristics of the participants and identify their perception of violence using the Q methodology, the scores of 20 parenting parents on 25 Q cards were statistically analyzed using forced normal distribution. There are three factors and from the most agreeable to the most disagreeable statements, they have shown their perception of violence. It was helpful in identifying parents' subjective perceptions and types of child abuse, and it suggested the need to define child abuse so that parents can have a correct perception of child abuse, rather than an abstract perception. In this perspective, the results of this study provide preliminary data for improving the recognition of parenting parents on child abuse.

  • 얼굴인식 분야에서 PCA(Principal Component Analysis) 기반 알고리즘은 비교적 간단한 구조와 높은 인식률로 인해 많이 사용되고 있지만 조명이나 얼굴 포즈 변화에 민감하다는 단점이 있다[1]. 이런 단점을 해결하기 위한 노력으로 PCA를 다른 얼굴인식 알고리즘과 결합함으로서 조명과 포즈 변화에 강인한 얼굴인식을 위만 연구가 현재 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 PCA기반 얼굴인식에서 조명이 다양하게 변할 때 이에 따른 인식률의 변화와, 인식이 실패했을 경우에 인식 대상이 유사도 상위후보군에 들어가는지를 조사함으로서 PCA기반 알고리즘의 신뢰도를 확인하고자 한다. 이를 위해 Yale Face Database H와 Extended Yale Face Database B를 이용하여 실험한 결과 약 93%의 인식 성공률을 확인했으며, 7%의 인식 실패한 영상의 경우 그 인식하고자 했던 얼굴이 유사도를 기준으로 정렬된 학습 영상에서 상위 후보군에 속한다는 실험 결과를 얻음으로서 PCA기반 얼굴 인식 알고리즘의 신뢰성을 확인할 수 있었다.

Elementary School Teachers' Perception of Digital Textbooks through Analysis of Perception of Digital Competence and Experience in Using Digital Textbooks (초등 교사의 디지털 교과서에 대한 인식 - 디지털 역량에 대한 인식과 디지털 교과서 활용 경험을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine elementary school teachers' perceptions of digital textbooks to gain insight into the development of digital textbooks. To this end, first, eight functions of the digital textbook were set, and two to six detailed functions were set for each function. Afterwards, based on this function, 372 elementary school teachers across the country were asked to ask about their perception of digital competence, their experience of using digital textbooks after COVIE-19 and their perception of digital textbooks. A simple regression analysis was used to examine the perception of digital textbooks according to the perception of digital competence and a one-way distribution analysis method was used to analyze the perception of digital textbooks according to the experience of using digital textbooks. The analysis found that elementary school teachers' confidence in their digital competence had a positive effect on all components of digital textbooks. In particular, the teachers' higher confidence in digital competence led to the increased need for 'operation and management' functions. In addition, the teachers who frequently use digital textbooks perceived a higher need for digital textbook components except for 'searching' and 'Authoring Tools Support' than teachers who do not use them. This paper shows that it is necessary to positively induce elementary school teachers' perceptions of digital competence and encourage using digital textbooks to successfully increase the usage of digital textbooks in classes.

Implementation of Speaker Independent Speech Recognizer in Noise Environment based on DSP (DSP기반의 잡음환경에 강인한 화자 독립 음성 인식기 구현)

  • 본 논문에서는 범용 DSP를 이용한 잡음환경에 강인한 음성인식 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템은 TI사의 범용 DSP인 TMS320C32를 이용하였고, 실시간 음성 입력을 위한 음성 Codec과 외부 인터페이스를 확장하여 인식결과를 출력하도록 구성하였다. 또한, 기존의 음성 인식 시스템에 사용한 파라메터에 대한 고찰과 ICA를 이용하여 잡음 환경에 강인한 음성 특징 파라메터를 제안하고 성능 비교 실험을 하였다. 제안된 ICA 파라메터를 적용하여 음성인식 시스템을 구현하였다. 그리고, 독립적으로 동작 가능한 음성인식 시스템의 응용 예로 무선자동차에 적용시켜 실험했다.

  • 전자거래 시스템에서 상품정보에 대한 자연언어 질의 문장은 상품명과 가격의 범위를 인식하는 것이 가장 중요한 요소이다. 가격의 범위를 인식하려면 가격 어휘와 가격지정어로 이루어진 가격범위 구문에 대한 별도의 처리 방법이 요구된다. 아라비아 숫자와 수사들로 구성된 가격어휘를 인식하는 수사어절 인식 알고리즘과 구문분석기를 이용하여 상품정보를 검색하는 질의 문장으로부터 상품명에 대한 가격의 범위를 인식하는 자연언어 질의어 처리 방법을 제안한다.

  • 자율운항선박의 효과적인 운영을 위해서는 자선 주변 해상 환경의 장애물 및 자선, 타선에 대한 통합적인 상황인식 정보가 요구된다. 상황인식은 현재의 시점에서 관측되는 정보를 바탕으로 운항 해역에 대한 종합적인 인식과 함께 가까운 미래에서 발생할 수 있는 위험 상황 및 비정상 상황에 대한 추론까지를 포함한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 자율운항선박의 원격 상황인식을 위한 기초연구로써, 선박자동식별시스템 AIS의 항적 정보 분석에 대한 내용을 수행한다. AIS에서 얻어지는 항적 정보를 이용한 해상 상황인식을 수행하기 위한 전처리 과정으로써, 손실 데이터에 대한 보간 방법에 대한 연구를 수행한다. 구체적인 방법론은, 추적필터를 이용한 보간 방법과 항적 정보 학습 기반의 보간 방법을 적용하였으며, AIS에서 얻어지는 실제 항적 데이터를 이용하여 초기 결과를 검증하였다.

  • This study analyzed the effect of the recognition for software education of middle school students who living in Seoul on the recognition for physical computing education. The result of this study are as follows: First, the recognition for software education has a significant effect on the recognition for physical computing education (p<.001, ${\beta}=.569$), specifically the comprehension of software education positively affected the comprehension of physical computing education in software education. Second, this study found that there was differences in the comprehension of physical computing education between middle students at school in Seoul and outside of Seoul. The purpose of this study is to suggest for academic implications effective physical computing education by analyzing the influence of the recognition for software education on the recognition for physical computing education.
