The level of knowledge and need on consumer information in the area of personal finance were investigated in this study, based on a survey of 422 Bucheon residents. The results showed that the level of financial knowledge of respondents was low while the level of need for financial information was relatively high. The variables related to the knowledge and need level were also investigated. Suggestions were made to guide the direction of financial education program for consumers.

The purpose of the study was to investigate relationships among life satisfaction of the elderly in poor health conditions, their self esteem, health and financial status, family relationships, and social participation. A structured questionnaire was used to interview 228 elderly who were randomly selected from Sungbuk-ku, Seoul. The regression analysis showed the most powerful predictors of life satisfaction of the poor-health elderly were self esteem, relationships with their adult children, perceived financial status, relationships with grandchildren, and the amount of allowances in that order These variables accounted for 39% of life satisfaction of the sample.

The purpose of this study is to develop the educational program of consumer adviser. The educational program proposed in previous study is consisted of the acquisition of 5 require and 2 optional subjects, and field education. For this, based on the role and capacity of consumer adviser we explain in detail the contents of required subjects. And we confirm the necessity and significance of field education. Finally we investigate the confirm the necessity and significance of field education. Finally we investigate the contents of field education and suggest the system and course of desirable field education through case study of several universities.

The purpose of this study is to identify the situation and problems of leisure policy in Korea and introduce the leisure policy of other countries-particularly, France, America and Japan. Furthermore, this study will propose several ideas to improve Korean leisure policy. These ideas include the foundation of leisure act, the arrangement of the leisure administrative organization, the foundation of a leisure research institute, increasing leisure time, the extention of leisure space, supplying of leisure programs, supporting to and regulating leisure industries, providing leisure education and information to the public, and training leisure epecialists.

This study was to present basic data in order to improve the management of the apartment house through investigating the work of managers and the association of occupant of a house. The Purpose of this study is to suggest a judgement of management-work and quality of manager in apartment housing board. Data were collected by the interview and survey from 131 managers in apartment houses. Major results were as follows: 1) the works of management were inquired by manager in occupant-management, administration-work, maintenance-work, and life-environmental work. 2) the works of management were compared with types of managers.

An educational program for parent caregiving families has been developed with a view to help mitigate burdens of those who provide caring services for their aged parents and to meet the needs of both the caregiving middle-aged daughter-in-law and the parent. The program has been applied to a small group of people who at least one living aged parent. The effectiveness of the program has been evaluated by taking pre- and posttests. The result of the tests strongly suggest that the program has been effective in improving participatns' knowledge on aging process, confict solving and relationship with parent.

The purpose of this study was to investigate on wear performance of four type of stocking: support, mono, panty, bane stocking. This study was carried out to examine the effect of clothing materials and multi-layered textiles on thermal resistance value. Cotton, polyester, wool, silk, rayon and acetate were selected for the specimens. Thermal resistance value was tested with 2 kinds of methods(thermo labo II and BK type tester). The results were as follows; 1. The effects of clothing materials for thermal resistance value were decreased by adding layers. 2. When the fabrics are measured with multiple layers, the fabric of the lowest thermal resistance value at single layer was showed the highest increasing tendency for all test methods.
