This study investigated the effect of socio-demographic variables and the ownership of asset and the other types of debts on the use of a specific type of household debt. Household debts were categorized into six types according to borrowing sources: debts from banks, other financial institutes, employers, private sources, Gye, and retailers. The 1996 Korean Household Panel Study were analyzed using logistic model. It was found that socio-demographic factors influenced differently on the probabilities of debt holdings according to the types of debt. There were interrelationships among the ownerships of a specific type of debt and other types of debt and asset.

The purpose of this study was to identify brand loyally of women's wear and construct brand positioning maps by using multidimensional scaling(MDS). There were significant differences between brand loyal and indifferent group in ages, income, occupation status and level of education. Significant differences were found between groups in the degree of importance of attributes (design/color, fashion, quality, store image, salesperson's attitude and brand reputation) when evaluating brands. The positioning maps upon the similarity and preference of brand image were composed by use of MDS.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current state of divorce negotiations and to identify major variables associated with positive divorce negotiations. Survey research was conducted on 182 men and 246 women residing in Daegu Metropolitan city area who had divorced between July 1999 and June 2002 with at least one child at the time of divorce. In conclusion, it was found that divorce negotiations are more influenced by the characteristics, natures and resources of the subjects than by the nature of issues being negotiated. The study findings' implications for research and practice were also discussed.

As the first communal system of which our society consists is family , the study of its relationship has been the base of analysing the social changes in every society of different culture and age. In our country under various western influences on traditional consiousness, it is very significant to consider how our family consciousness changes up. The aim of this thesis is to understand family consciousness of the women students of 2 University and 1 woman college in Pusan Area with 675 qustioning papers by inquiring the views of family , marriage, birth control and inheritance.

A study on shrinkage after wash of several cotton textiles for embroidery on the market produced the following results : 1. As the wash temperature rises, the shrinkage increases. 2. Shrinkage of sample 2 and 3, variant weave of plain weave, is greatest, and the next is that of sample 1, a variant of plain weave. Shrinkage of sample 4 and 6, which have more floating, is small. 3. In the wash, thickness of the textile increases with rise of the temperature. 4. Strength of the textile increases with rise of the wash temperature.

Recently, the Korean women has been steadily growing in number of wearing slacks , therefore the measurement data on lower part of body for slacks pattern construction have become needed. Thus, in order to obtain the measurement data, 304 of sophomore and junior classes form universities and colleges in Seoul city area were selected on purposed and , set to the object of study. In the course of measurement , thirteen items on lower part of body which is the basis of slacks pattern construction were measured, and then average balue, standard deviation and the mutual correlation were obtained.

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the modern architecture and the works of Claire McCardell in respect to Modernism. Data decribed in this article are selected from costume books-time-New York Times-Reports and art books. Modernism of modern architecture stimulate Claire McCardell to use simplication practicality and funtionality. The Claire McCardell's works represented the liberation of the modern american woman in her capability to be collegiate but stylish, functiional and fashionable, sport-minded but elegant.

The purpose of this study was investigate the historical change in Kasa for the Buddhist commandment in the era of Buddha and the Korean Kasa. The original Kasa specified in Buddhist commandment has many concrete features. In contrast Korean Kasa is quite simplified and become very practical. Although we could not follow the numerous original specifications in Kasa, we must maintain and transmit Korean Kasa based in the minimum regurations. For this purpose, it is necessary to form a unified opinion and to develop a desirable specification for the Korean Kasa.

From the findings of an exploratory study describing the living environments of segregated Alzheimer/Dementia Units (ADUs), the results relative to environmental cueing reatures, reality orientation aids, and communication/noise control methods are highlighted. Data were collected from a nonrandom, purposive sample of 99 ADUs and their parent long term care facilities in 34 states. Specific recommendations are made about physical features that may assist confused and disoriented residents and contribute to way-finding and orientation in specialized dementia units.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between parental attitude and social-emotional development of kindergarten children. The sample were 119 children and their parents(mothers and fathers) of a kindergarten in Seoul. The instruments for this study were the modified PM(Parental Modemity) by Schaefer and Edgerton and the modified social-emotional development scale by Korea Behavioral Science Institute. The data analyzed y frequency, mean, t-test, and Pearson's r. Major findings were that the mothers' parental attitude was related to the children's curiosity. Also, there were significant differences between the mothers' parental attitude and fathers' parental attitude according to their children's sex.
