This research was performed to provide a basic data for reforming University and Hotel & Tourism Management Curriculum Framework based on competency-based education, especially through identifying university students' competency categories of that reflect on the specialization and major of university. For the purpose of this research first, based on the literature review and empirical study, this paper grouped competencies into four areas: Generic Competencies, Specific Competencies, Personality Competencies, and University Specialization Competencies. Second, this paper examined empirical test through a survey of university students by Importance-Performance Analysis on four main categories. As a result of empirical test, four main categories were statistically verified, and the differences among majors about importance, performance and educational needs of each four competencies were analyzed significantly. There were proved that hospitality major is higher than other majors in importance of Generic and Personality Competency and performance of Generic Competency as well.

Computer education in universities has been expanded and specialized from ICT-based education in recent years to software education such as computational thinking and programming. Especially, as the 4th Industrial Revolution is emphasized in all fields of society, software education, which is its core, is being applied as an essential liberal arts course in universities. In the case of basic SW education for all students, it is necessary to provide differentiated education that is suitable for students because their special characteristics are different. In this study, we conducted a basic SW course for general liberal arts at A-university in Seoul and analyzed the survey data from 4,927 students for about 3 years, and classified the major series and searched the appropriate education method for each subdivided group. Through the analysis, we were able to find characteristic groups such as business and commerce, art and sports major. Finally, six groups for basic-SW education are presented. Educational directions such as programming language and level of difficulty setting suitable for differentiated education are presented for each group.

This study analyzed the current state of interior design as a major at vocational high schools, colleges, and universities to improve their curricula. The questionnaires of students, teachers, and interior designers were collected and frequency distribution and mean were used to analyze the data. Result showed that the alloted times with major fields were high, but those with classes related to interior design were comparatively low at vocational school. Vocational schools did not seem to supply the systemic and qualified major equation for the students who wanted to engage in interior design fields. Therefore curricula reflecting the demand of designers working for interior design companies and students should be made. Additionally practical education contents based on interior design field and achievement of certification should be developed to vitalize the vocational school.

This study was an exploratory study for the development of a competency-based social welfare curriculum. This study was conducted through a literature review focused on guidelines for social welfare published by the KCSWE (Korean Council for Social Welfare Education). The purpose of this study was to explore social welfare professional competencies, subject goals, teaching methods, and the participatory learning environment for the development of a competency-based social welfare curriculum. The findings are as follows. First, each university had been researching professional competencies individually. Second, the social welfare subjects tended to include all elements of knowledge, skills, and attitudes, and these goals were matched with professional competencies set by each university. Third, the guidelines for social welfare subjects provided various teaching methods to achieve the goals of the subject as well as a participatory learning environment based on discussion. However, it was difficult to determine whether the various teaching methods were effective in achieving core and professional competencies. Therefore, it is necessary for KCSWE to set up a standardized competency-based curriculum and research professional competencies based on social welfare, a curriculum and subjects according to their competencies, effective teaching methods, and a method for evaluating educational outcomes.

최근 앙트러프러너십을 독자적인 학문의 영역으로 정의하고자하는 노력들이 진행되고 있다. Shane & Venkataraman 등의 학자들은 앙트러프러너십의 연구가 창업자가 되기 위한 사람들에 대한 관심에서 창업가 기질이 있는 개인과 가치있는 기회의 결합을 이해하는 것 쪽으로 옮겨져 가고 있다고 하였다. 한국은 대학을 기반으로 기업가정신교육 또는 창업교육이라는 이름하에 교육이 확산되고 있는 실정이며, 2010년 국내 최초로 숙명여자대학교에서 앙트프러너십 전공학과가 생성되기도 하였다. 기존의 연구를 통해 창업교육이 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 다수의 연구 결과가 발표되었으나, 창업학의 학문적 차별성이라 주장하는 'opportunity'에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 또한, 국내 유일의 앙트러프러너십 전공생들을 대상으로 앙트러프러너십 교육의 품질요인이 전공생들의 기회인식에 어떠한 영향을 주는지, 또한 창업자기효능감 및 교육의 몰입도에 따라 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 밝혀진 바는 없다. 본 연구를 통해 앙트러프러너십 전공교육의 만족도가 창업기회인식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하고, 교육의 몰입도에 따라 창업기회인식의 매개효과에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.
