Recently, due to a decrease in the school age population, it is expected that there will be great difficulties in recruiting students. The dropout rate for the last three years of four-year universities nationwide announced in www.academyinfo.go.kr has been continuously increasing at 4.1% (2016), 4.3% (2017), and 4.6% (2018). It has emerged as the biggest issue facing the university. In this study, through a large-scale empirical study at H University, an analysis of the dropout intention of college students and educational factors affecting their intentions were derived. First, as a result of analyzing the intention to drop out, the dropout intention of students in the engineering department was higher than in the humanities, and it was higher in the upper grades. Students from specialized high schools were higher than general high schools, and the students who raised the tuition fees were higher than those who were not. As a result of factor analysis on dropout intention, it was analyzed that class difficulty, major satisfaction, parent satisfaction, internationalization satisfaction, and college education performance satisfaction had a significant effect on dropout intention.

The study purposed to assess how the career development before and after entering college was related to youth's college life satisfaction, and examined the effect of social relationships with parents, peers, and teachers on the association between youth's career development and their satisfaction with college lives. For this purpose, the study utilized the data of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute since 2010. The study found that there was a positive correlation between career development and college life satisfaction. In addition, supportive relationships with parents and peers had significant effects on the level of career identity during high school and later satisfaction with college life. It was also found that youth who had a positive relationship with teachers in high school had a high level of career decision after entering college. The results of this study suggested the necessity of individualized career education appropriate for youth's career development levels. In addition, convergent approaches to build, maintain and develop positive social relationships could have a lasting and positive impact on youth's career development.

The survey was conducted by Chinese students who currently attend universities for the purpose of evaluating factors that determine the quality of educational services of universities in Korea. Three public universities and five private universities in Kyungsang province were surveyed for the purpose of this study with standardized questionnaires. The study raised questions on four different fronts: 1) Is there a difference in the importance of evaluation factors by Chinese student's on the quality of educational services between public universities and private ones? 2) Is there a difference in the degree of satisfaction felt by Chinese students who attend public universities or private ones? 3) Are there any significant differences in the importance of evaluation factors and satisfaction with the quality of educational services? 4) How different the relative influence of evaluation factors has on satisfaction with the quality of educational services for overall Korean university system? The results of this study showed that there was no statistical difference in signification in the importance of evaluation factors on the quality of educational services between public universities and private universities. Only the relationship factor in criteria four had an effect on satisfaction with quality of educational services between public and private universities. There were significant differences in the importance of evaluation factors and satisfaction with the quality of educational services. Chinese students determined that professor's lectureship as the most important factor, and is the ultimate deciding factor whether they attend a public or private university. It should be noted that studying and knowledge are primary concerns to them. Improvements in the quality of educational services in area of lectureship, physical education facilities, relationship, and administrative services are essential and crucially important for Korean universities in order to attract foreign students and to enhance their competitiveness in the global setting.

This study examined the relationships among ego resilience, career decision-making self-efficacy and job-seeking stress of senior nursing students. Data was collected through self-reporting questionnaire to 175 nursing students 3rd and 4th grade. Stepwise multiple regression revealed grade, career decision-making self-efficacy, satisfaction on university life to be significant predictors of job-seeking stress. These variables accounted for 13.5% of job-seeking stress. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the job-seeking stress of senior nursing students through multidisciplinary intervention which strengthens career decision-making self-efficacy considering grade, satisfaction on university life.

This study was conducted to understand the motivation for major selection and degree of satisfaction with major for university students in the department of Radiology, and to analyze the effect university life adjustment in COVID-19. From Jung 20 to July 20, 2021, 308 students in grades 1~4 were enrolled at universities in Busan and Gyeongnam. Factors influencing university life adjustment were found to have a good adjustment when majoring was selected with personal motive rather than social motive. Among the sub-factors of major satisfaction, general satisfaction and satisfaction with surrounding relationships had a positive effect on university life adjustment. Therefore, in order to adapt to healthy university life, it is necessary to secure closeness between school, professor, and students, and it is desirable to provide students with opportunities to experience various education by recognizing the rapidly changing policy changes in education to increase major satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the results of this study will be used as basic data for successful university life of students in the department of radiology.

To find out self elasticity of student of dental hygienic, how self elasticity influences life adaptation of college and study satisfaction. To structure analysis the effects that is given from self-elasticity of student of dental hygienic influences life adaptation of college and study satisfaction, from 2013/10/1 to 2013/10/31 due to convenience sampling, 369 students in grade 1,2,3 in Daegu Gyeongbuk were conducted a survey. The sub factors of self elasticity and study satisfaction and correlation of university life adjustment have the highest relevance to optimistic attitude and life adaptation of college. The higher self elasticity, the higher study satisfaction and the higher self elasticity and study satisfaction, the higher life adaptation of college. self elasticity increase the study satisfaction of students, improve adaptation(p<0.001). Therefore to promote the life adaptation of college, the effort and attention to reinforce the abilities of regulation of self elasticity that are an improvement of personal relation, goal setting, anger control and motivation. On this wise, development and management of suitable continuous and gradational educational programs are needed.

In this study, the best Total Quality Management(TQM) implementation model for university libraries is focused through the study of the theoretical background such as the concept the quality and the development of TQM. The study on the application of TQM to university libraries was started with the recognition that university libraries have to work out a new strategy of a positive and active counter plan to cope with the change of environment. 코로나 팬더믹으로 인해 시작된 비대면 수업의 도입은 대학교육시스템에 변화를 가져왔다. 대학은 비대면 수업 운영에 대한 경험 및 학습자 만족도를 기반으로 비대면 수업을 대학 학사 운영에 활용하는 방안을 모색하기 시작하였다. 본 논문은 비대면과 대면이 혼합된 하이브리드 수업 운영에서 학습자들이 다양한 특성의 과목에서 만족한 수업방식과 의견을 조사·분석함으로써 비대면과 대면 수업을 혼합 활용하는 효과적 방안을 모색하는데 필요한 학습자 의견 도출에 그 목적이 있다. 조사 결과, 학습자들은 전반적으로 하이브리드 수업에 만족하고 있고, 과목 특성에 따라 비대면과 대면 수업의 장점을 혼합한 수업에 대한 학습효과를 올바르게 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있고, 수업 맞춤형 하이브리드 수업 운영을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 대학은 학습자의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 하이브리드 수업 운영을 위한 제도 등을 마련하여 효과적인 수업 운영 및 활성화를 지원할 필요가 있다고 사료된다.

A survey on effects of the participation style of martial art classes in students majoring in guard on both their major satisfaction and adapt to school lie was performed for 285 male and female students. The survey was carried out using a questionnaire on the participation style of martial art classes, degree of major satisfaction, and adapt to school life. Based on the survey, a correlation analysis was implemented to investigate effects of the martial art class participation styles on both major satisfaction and adapt to school life. Then, a multiple regression analysis was also performed. As a result, the sub-elements of the martial art class participation styles, such as the cooperative and participation styles, significantly affect the general satisfaction, class satisfaction, relationship satisfaction, and cognitive satisfaction in the major satisfaction. In the martial art class participation styles, the sub-elements, such as the cooperative, competitive, and participation styles, significantly affect the class, sociality, and adapt to school environments in adapt to school life. The sub-element of the major satisfaction, such as the general satisfaction, significantly affects the adaptations in class, sociality, and school environments in adapt to school life.

Many of the universities in Korea recently is changing the school policy oriented from the supply approach to the demand as the case of business companies. Customer orientation is the key point of the customer satisfaction. But there are few studies focused on the satisfaction of students as a customer. In this paper, we studied the components of satisfaction in university life, the factors affecting on the satisfaction of students, and the relationship among them. The principal components of satisfaction in university life are services related to the activities of students, the utilization of welfare facilities, curriculum, the adminstration on students, and the department office. Factors affecting on the satisfaction of students are expectation, pride, self evaluation on learning, and special activities. Demographic variables, for example, sex, grade, colleges, and so on are also important factors. We also found the fact that the pride was the most important factor, and it gives positive drive on the satisfaction of students in university life. It gives us the important implication to the school policy.
