The daunting challenge thai today's educational organizations face is how to improve academic quality while containing or reducing costs. This paper discusses major changes in the educational environment and ICT-based course improvement efforts; examines some successful cases for course redesign, and proposes an e-education strategy for an educational institution to use ICT strategically in order to achieve both academic quality improvement and cost reduction together.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the needs of art education suppliers and consumers and develop service models for an art education platform. In order to overcome the limitations of existing services limited to instructor-student customizing functions, our services take into account comprehensive relationships among various stakeholders and activities that constitute the art ecosystem Design/methodology/approach We reviewed the relevant reference and conducted interviews and surveys with stakeholders of art education market, so that identified the demand and functional priorities. Findings We identified the demand and functional priorities for customizing to as to develop major service models(i.e. service models for lessons, cubes, and businesses) for the art education platform.

On these days concrete knowledge more than simple information is required in order to do something. In this paper we researched the development methods and design of the Knowledge Management System(KMS) to effectively utilize the human resources and various kinds of intellectual resources of the universities, which is the mecca of the knowledge and technology. We gave our focus to the methodologies that makes it possible to implement the KMS with the least costs based on the available databases and infrastructures.

본 논문에서는 강의평가 시스템을 이용하여 주된 이용자인 학생들에게 수업에 앞서 강의에 대한 전반적인 학습 분위기와 강의를 들었던 학생들의 평점을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 강의평가를 효율적으로 보여주어 수강 신청의 접근성을 최대화하고, 각 강의의 안내와 정보를 취득하는 데 도움을 준다. 또한, 이 시스템은 네 가지의 평점을 부여하여 이를 바탕으로 종합적인 평점을 할당한다. 이때 강의평가에 대한 평가를 곁들이면서, 평점을 제시하여 강의평가를 보려는 다른 이들에게 뚜렷한 정보력과 어떤 강의가 좋은지 잘 보여준다. 본 논문에서는 동적 웹 페이지를 사용하여 가시성이 뛰어난 강의평가 시스템을 제공하는 면에서 우수함을 보인다.

This study aimed at analyzing the influence factors of the academic library on college's education and research performances. The researched subject was 144 colleges targeted for information disclosure by Center for Higher Education Information Disclosure. The conclusion of the present study is as follows. First, the educational performance in college showed the positive relation with 'library environment' variables except 'seating capacity per capita'. Second, the educational performance in college was positively related to the variable of 'library outcome' and particularly, it was directly influenced by circulation, visit, and interlibrary loan. Third, the research performance in college showed a positive correlation with 'library environment' variables except facility scale of library. Fourth, the research performance in college showed a positive relation with the variable of 'library outcome' and research performance excluding 'publication in domestic journals per capita' was positively influenced by 'document delivery services usage per capita' and 'commercial DB usage per capita' in common.

In order to improve the level of the IT organization, CMMi played a lot of roles in improving the IT efficiency and quality step by step. In a university organization if you use a customized IT governance framework for the concept of CMMi, it will be a university IT governance to realize the vision of the university. In this paper, we propose Staged Framework for the university developed for applying to university with reference to this staged model of CMMi. The university has applied its own process step by step and it can be uses in the university field. So it can be applied to university IT plan and budget in compliance with not only the person in charge of IT service center but the person in charge of university headquarters. The staged framework is classified into the maturity and process of university IT project and suggests ways to apply it to the improvement of university IT system levels.

아기의 심장 박동 소리를 듣지 못하는 청각 장애 부모를 위한 태아 초음파 심장박동 촉각 변환 시스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 본 시스템은 아기의 심장박동 소리를 USB 마이크를 이용하여 소릿값을 입력받아 이에 대응하는 값을 진동 모터의 진동 출력 세기와 LED 밝기의 세기로 출력시키도록 하였다. 아기의 심장박동 느낌을 진동으로 표현해 내기 위해 진동의 샘플링 주기를 구체적인 수치로 조절하였고 산모에 따라 진동의 세기와 주변 잡음 제거를 할 수 있도록 조절하는 가변저항 2개를 연결하였다. 그 결과 태아 초음파 심장박동 촉각 변환 시스템을 성공적으로 개발하였으며 장치 체험자들로부터 총 평균 4.63점으로 높은 만족도를 얻었다. 개발 제품은 청각장애 산모들의 모성애를 충족시키고 아기의 심장박동을 느낌으로써 아기의 존재를 느낄 수 있을 것이며, 산부인과의 초음파 영상진단의 확장 신기술로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

본 논문은 모바일 환경에서의 안전한 결제시스템을 위한 기술 연구에 대해 다룬다. 모바일의 급속한 발전은 보안에 악영향을 끼쳤는데, 기기 내에서 많은 개인정보가 처리되기 때문에 해커들의 놀이터가 된 만큼 보안 이슈가 증가 되었다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 기존의 결제 시스템과 다른 방식의 보안기술이 필요하다. 그리하여 모바일 보안기술과 결제시스템 기술을 연계하여 안전한 결제시스템을 구현하는 방안에 대해 연구하였다. 안전한 결제 시스템을 구현하기 위해 필요한 기술 요소들을 제안하고 이를 바탕으로 안전한 결제시스템을 구현하기 위한 시스템 아키텍쳐를 제안하고, 구현된 시스템을 통해 안전성을 검증하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경에서 안전한 결제시스템을 위해 모바일 보안기술과 결제시스템 기술을 연계하여 안전성을 확보할 수 있는 방법에 대해 제안하고, 이를 통해 모바일 환경에서 안전하게 결제를 이루어낼 수 있는 기술적인 기반을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대해본다.

학술연구를 수행하는데 도움이 되는 중요한 정보 중의 하나는 학술연구자가 연구 중인 분야의 최신 논문에 대한 원문 정보와 이 논문이 실려 있는 학술지의 소장 정보라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 정보를 효과적으로 학술 연구자에게 제공하기 위해 첨단학술정보센터(Korea Research Information Center: KRIC)에서는 전문학술정보센터(Special Research Information Center: SRIC)로 지정된 대학도서관에서 구독하는 학술지에 게재된 논문에 대한 목록 데이터를 통합하는 학술지논문 종합목록 시스템을 구축 중이다. 이 시스템에서는 기존의 대학도서관에서 사용하고 있는 목록기술규칙인 MAEX(MAchine Readable Cataloging)대신 인터넷 기반의 디지털 도서관에 적합한 형태를 가지는 더블린 코아를 새로운 목록기술규칙으로 채택하였다. 이러한 더블린 코아를 사용하게 되면 목록자는 전문적인 교육 없이도 간편하게 새로운 목록을 작성할 수 있다. 학술지논문 종합목록이 구축되면 학술연구자들은 원하는 논문이 검색된 경우, 원문이 구축되어 있으면 인터넷을 통해 곧바로 원문을 볼 수 있고, 원문이 구축되어 있지 않다면 복사/팩스 서비스 시스템을 통해 원문을 제공받을 수 있게 된다.
