본 연구는 최근 창업에 대한 관심이 대학 내에서 확산되고 성공한 학생창업가들이 배출되고 있는 시점에서 대학 내 창업동아리 활동이 실제로 학생창업으로 이어지는지 국내 4년제 대학 169개를 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 대학의 창업동아리는 학생창업을 활성화하기 위한 방안으로써 정부와 대학은 매년 창업동아리에 필요한 예산과 교육 등 적극적인 지원을 하고 있지만 창업동아리 활동이 학생창업에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 국내에서는 학술적으로 연구된 바가 극히 드물다. 이러한 이유로 본 연구에서는 대학의 창업동아리가 학생창업 증가에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 구체적으로 선행연구에서 강조한 바와 같이 창업동아리 활동이 학생창업에 미치는 영향을 대학의 창업지원과 교육의 조절효과를 중심으로 실증분석 한다. 분석결과 첫째, 대학의 창업동아리가 실제로 학생창업에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 창업동아리 활동이 활발한 대학일수록 학생창업이 많이 이루어진다는 것을 시사한다. 둘째, 학생 창업지원과 교육의 조절효과를 검증한 결과 대학의 실습형 창업강좌는 창업동아리 활동과 학생창업 간의 관계를 정(+)의 방향으로 조절한다는 증거가 발견되었다. 즉, 창업동아리 활동이 학생창업에 미치는 긍정적인 영향은 실습형 창업강좌의 비중이 높은 학교일수록 긍정적인 관계가 강화된다는 것을 의미한다. 이는 경험적 학습을 통한 동아리 활동과 실습형 교육 간 연계의 필요성을 강조한다. 따라서, 창업 동아리 활동을 통한 학생들의 창업활동을 분석함으로써 대학의 창업 동아리 활동의 효과를 증진시킬 수 있는 현실적인 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학 내 활발한 창업 동아리 활동의 질적 향상과 실제 창업 동아리 활동을 경험한 학생들이 창업으로 이루어질 수 있는 현실적인 창업 교육에 기여할 수 있는 것으로 기대된다.

대학의 지역 공헌활동에 대한 역할 증대, 학령인구의 지속적 감소와 이에 따른 재정문제에 대비한 대학의 수익원 창출 노력 등, 대학을 중심으로 재정, 지역연계 역할, 정부 및 연구기관과의 활동 등 대학과 지역의 상호발전을 위한 현실적 과제가 증가됨에 따라 대학 스스로 내부자원을 활용한 발전계획을 기획하고 시행할 필요가 있다. 뿐만 아니라 중앙 또는 지방정부의 대학재정 지원 시, 이러한 활동의 표준을 정해보고 활동에 대한 측정 등을 할 수 있는 지표 설정이 필요하다. 기존 대학의 지역연계 활동과 성과지표 선정 등에 대한 다양한 보고서와 논문 등을 선행연구로 하고 대학 중심의 창업지원과제 등을 중심으로 대학을 중심으로 한 다양한 창업혁신활동 주체를 도출, 이들과의 협력관계에 대한 내용을 선별하고 이를 투입, 활동, 실적, 성과 등으로 구분하여 보았다. 활동 및 주체의 타당성 확보를 위해 학계, 창투사, 연구기관의 창업관련 다양한 전문가를 대상으로 측정변수에 대한 타당성 측정 및 AHP 분석을 통한 변수의 적합도를 분석하여 창업활동 주체 및 평가지표 등을 도출 하였다. 본 논문을 통하여 대학은 지역의 기업, 정부/공공기관, 연구기관, 투자기관 등과 협업 연계할 수 있는 주체간의 연관가능 활동과 해당 기관의 자원을 연계하여 지역발전에 기여할 수 있는 모델 및 이를 측정할 수 있는 지표 및 주요 내용을 도출 할 수 있었다.

정부는 대학발 창업에 대한 기본계획을 확정하고 그동안 산재되어 있는 창업지원기능을 대학중심으로 전환하고 있다. 본 연구는 기업가 정신을 확산하고 창업성과와 연계하기 위한 대학의 창업교육과정 및 창업지원체계 구축이 창업성과에 미치는 영향을 종단적으로 분석을 시도한다. K대학은 1998년 지역 내에서 가장 먼저 창업보육센터로 지정을 받았고 이후 2011년 창업선도대학, 2012년 LINC사업, 2013년 사관학교식 창업선도대학 및 2014년 글로벌창업대학원 지원사업 선정 등 각종 정부지원사업을 통해 창업인프라를 구축하여 왔다, K대학은 학부생, 대학원생을 대상으로 창업수준 4단계, 기술분야별 교과과정 체계를 구축하였다. 또한 아이디어 도출부터 기업설립까지 창업 과정을 실질적으로 경험해 볼 수 있는 창업동아리와 이를 지원하는 비교과 프로그램과 창업친화형학사제도가 갖추어져 있다. 또한 창업 활동을 효과적으로 지원하기 위해 대학 내에 산재한 창업지원기관을 통합하고 본부 조직화하였다. K대학은 이를 통해 창업교과 수강학생 수 및 창업동아리 수에서 2배 수준의 증가와 창업자 수는 2013년에 비해 7배의 성장을 이루었다. K대학의 창업교육과 창업지원체계 및 창업성과를 종단적으로 분석하여 대학에서의 창업시스템이 단계별로 구축될 필요성과 대학 내 구성원의 창업에 대한 인식전환과 성과도출까지 적응기간의 필요성을 도출하였다.

The basic purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among entrepreneurial intention, university supports for startup, and startup activities of university students. For the study, we identified the influence factors of students' startup intention based on reviewing preceding studies and examined how these factors affect their intention of new venture startup. In addition, this study attempted to examine how these factors that can have a significant impact on entrepreneurial intention affect startup activities and analyzed how entrepreneurial intention would mediate the relationship between these influence factors and startup activities. A total of 769 students who chosen by random were surveyed and all questionnaires were sent by mail to the universities that entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial programs were selected as the forerunners from the government. As a result, this study revealed that student's psychological traits such as entrepreneurial self-efficacy and risk-taking have significant effect on the intention of startup. And student's exposure to the role models and various entrepreneurial experiences such as entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial student's club in the university has significantly positive influence on the intention of startup. This study also found that the effects of these explanatory variables of this research on startup activities have been partially mediated by entrepreneurial intention. The entrepreneurial intention was also proven to have a significant effect on startup activities. Finally, the extent to which university supports activities for students' startup moderated the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and university students' startup activities. We believe that these results of this study contribute to the understanding of the entrepreneurship process both theoretical and practical perspectives.

국내 대학은 연구 및 교육 기관으로서의 중요성과 함께 창업에 기여해야 할 사회적 책무를 지고 있다. 대학이 축적한 각종 지식 성과와 함께 연구와 개발 인프라를 활용하고 대학생 및 대학원생의 창의적 아이디어의 활용 가치를 높여 경제 활성화를 위한 새로운 성장 엔진을 개발해야 한다. 또한 창업연구와 창업지원 사업에 대한 사회적 요구에 맞추어 대학은 창업기능을 구조 혁신의 도구로 삼을 기회를 가지게 되었다는 점도 주목해야 한다. 본 연구는 한국 대학의 창업지원 기관의 역할 정립을 위한 학술적 지식을 되짚어 보고 창업을 중심으로 한 대학의 적극적인 창업지원단 구축 모델에 대한 논의를 담고 있다. 창업교육과 창업지원에 관한 기존의 연구와 2차 통계자료를 기반으로 창업지원 방향에 관한 시사점을 획득하고 대학 혁신을 위한 창업지원 모델인 WoW! Valley Model을 제안한다. 본 모형은 창업지원단의 역할 정립에 도움을 주고 대학 창업지원의 정책 수립의 기초를 제공할 것으로 본다. 국내외 경제 여건의 악화와 글로벌 경제 침체 속에서 창업의 사회적 중요성은 점차 커지고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 대학의 창업 활성화는 시대적 과제라 할 수 있다. 체계적인 창업 지원 정책을 대학이 주도하고 현실 학문적 성격을 강화하는 방향으로 체질을 개선하는 일이 시급하다. 본 연구는 대학의 창업지원단 활동의 새로운 모델을 제시하고 있다. 이미 국내의 많은 대학들이 창업지원을 위한 센터나 지원단을 운영하고 있으며 독자적인 체계를 갖추고 있다. 그러나 창업지원을 중심으로 대학의 기능을 재편하는 등의 혁신 체계로서의 창업지원단 운영 모델은 수립 및 시행된 경우가 드물다. 본 연구는 창업교육과 창업지원에 관한 기존의 연구 성과를 되짚어 보고 국내 대학의 창업지원을 위한 새로운 시각을 제시한다. 창업 지원단의 수립 및 운영 모형에 관한 논의가 절실한 시점에서 본 연구는 연구자와 대학 운영자 및 정책 입안자에게 의미 있는 시사점을 줄 것으로 기대한다. 한편, 본 연구는 개념적 디자인을 제시하는 수준이므로 디자인을 평가하여 새로운 지식을 얻는 등의 후속 과정을 거쳐 보완될 필요가 있다. 다중 사례 연구와 실행 연구(Action Research) 등의 실증 방법을 통해 본 연구의 후속 결과가 요구된다.

대학생의 대부분은 진로에 대한 명확한 목표가 설정되지 않거나 졸업 후 진로 미결정으로 인해 어려움을 느낀다. 대학 생활 중 진로의 선택과 결정, 결정을 위해 정보를 수집하고 탐색하는 활동들은 매우 중요하며 대학에서는 진로를 '창업' 으로 결정한 학생들을 위해 다양한 창업교육 프로그램을 제공하고 있다. 정부의 적극적인 지원으로 창업교육은 양적 성장을 하였지만 실제 창업까지는 한계가 있다. 창업을 하기 위한 적극적 창업준비행동으로 이루어질 수 있는 창업교육의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 대학생의 창업교육이 창업준비행동에 미치는 영향 관계를 분석하고 두 영향 관계에서 계획된 우연기술에 의한 기회인식의 매개적 효과를 조사·연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 대학에서 지원하는 창업교육의 참여 형태, 교육 만족도, 참여횟수 등 창업교육의 실태를 파악하고 창업을 하기 위한 정보수집활동과 도구구비활동 및 목표달성을 위한 적극적 노력 등 창업준비행동을 분석한다. 본 연구를 통해 개인적 관점에서 '창업교육' 이라는 우연한 행동을 기회로 인식하고 창업준비에 긍정적으로 활용할 수 있도록 체계화된 창업교육의 필요성을 시사하며 대학의 취업만을 강조하는 교육 패러다임을 변화할 수 있는 창업교육의 질적 성장의 중요성을 제시하고자 한다.

The major entity supplying the supporting infrastructure of the venture creation is the venture capitalists, university(and research center), and government. Especially, the role of the university and academic entrepreneurs is the key factor in the process of the technology transfer. The capacity(or role) of the academic entrepreneurs to craft a vision, and then to lead, inspire, and persuade key members makes an enormous difference between success and failure. And the supporting model of academic entrepreneurial venture creation requires that the systematic supporting system as well as the institutional framework for handling the conflicts among the members of a committed venture team. Among the a variety of organization, the university needs to supply the, formal supporting program such as technology transfer, university-industry cooperation, venture development, and the perception of the mere presence of policies and programs designed to encourage entrepreneurial activities for fostering economic development. Besides, careful consideration must be given to the role universities should play in the regional economy and what policies are appropriate to allow it to play that role effectively. On the basis of the above literature review results, this article suggests the supporting model for the venture creation by the strategic alliance composed of the industry, university, and government considering both of the entities's role and the motives of academic entrepreneurs in venture creating process.

시대의 흐름에 따라 창업자본주의(entrepreneurial capitalism)의 경향을 보이고 있는 현대사회에서 혁신적인 아이디어와 도전정신을 바탕으로 글로벌 진출을 도모하는 소규모 기업 또는 개인 창업자의 역동적인 창업활동은 창업생태계(Entrepreneurial Ecosystem)에서 새로운 성장 동력 창출로 이어진다. 이러한 창업에 대하여 대학에서 창출된 기업들은 다른 기업들보다 훨씬 높은 성공률을 보이며, 좋은 일자리를 만들고 경제활동을 촉진한다. 이에 따라 우리나라 정부에서도 대학 창업을 촉진하기 위한 노력으로 "대학창업교육 5개년 계획(2013-2017)"과 "2015년도 정부 창업지원 효율화 방안", 그리고 "산학협력 활성화 5개년 기본계획(2016-2020)" 등을 발표하였고, 대학과 연구소 등에서도 대학 창업 활성화에 대한 많은 노력을 기울이고 있지만 여전히 현실적인 한계가 존재한다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위한 방안으로 본 연구에서는 대학 창업교육의 체계화를 목적으로 변화하는 대학의 역할과 클러스터(cluster), 그리고 창업교육에 대한 이론을 고찰한다. 또한, 미국 혁신대학의 대표적 사례를 중심으로 창의적인 대학문화의 요인을 살펴보고, '창업 성공'과는 다른 '성공적인 창업'을 목적으로 클러스터 관점의 창업교육에 대한 개념적 프레임워크를 제시하고자 한다. 대학 기술기반의 창업 활성화를 위한 통합적 창업교육 플랫폼 구축의 기조(基調)가 되는 클러스터 관점의 창업교육에 대한 개념적 프레임워크는 관련 이론과 사례를 바탕으로 창의적 문화 구축과 효과적인 혁신 창출에 필요한 인재, 기술, 관용이라는 세 가지 요소의 역할이 중심이 되어 창업교육에 수반되어야 할 지역의 창업자원, 창업정책, 그리고 리더십의 클러스터링을 강조하고 있다. 이를 바탕으로 향후 후속연구에서는 통합적 창업교육 플랫폼 차원에서 창업보육센터, 기술지주회사, 기술사업화센터, 창업지원단 등과 같은 대학 내에 존재하는 대표적인 창업활동 주체(조직) 간 효과적인 협력체계 구축과 함께 성공적인 창업을 위한 실행 가능한 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

The paper employs a resource-based approach to analyze the relationship between institutional resources and faculty-led startup formation and performance in South Korean four-year universities from 2017 to 2021. The author proposes nine hypotheses to explain how institutional resources or systems affect the number of faculty startups, their employee numbers and the revenue of faculty-led startups, and compare four different groups of university resources for cross-college variation. The findings suggest that institutional factors impacting faculty-led startup performance differ from those impacting other categories of startups. Universities should provide a more favorable environment, including flexible personnel policies and accompanying startup support infrastructure, to encourage faculty-led startups. In contrast, it is more effective for better performance of faculty startups, in terms of their job creation and revenue, to have more financial resources and good paper publications. The results also suggest that university technology-holding companies are crucial for increasing the number of professor startups and their performance. These findings have implications for both university and government policymakers, who aim to facilitate greater participation of professors in startup formation and commercialization of technology.

In this study, we empirically investigated how start-up support programs provided at colleges affect students' satisfaction with their major and their Entrepreneurial Intentions. The participants included 248 students from five colleges two-four-year colleges located in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do Province, Chungcheong-do Province, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, and Jeola-do Province. SPSSWIN 24.0 for descriptive statistics analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, and moderated regression analysis. showed that, among various forms of support for business start-up, support for education on start-up and support for start-up activities had a positive impact on the students' opportunity motivation and achievement motivation at a statistically significant level. opportunity motivation, achievement motivation, and independence motivation all positive influence on the students' resolution to start a business support for education on start-up and support for start-up activities had positive impact on the studens' entrepreneurial Intentions. These findings suggest that college programs that support students' business start-up need to be developed and applied with a focus on support for education on start-up and support for start-up activities to enhance college students' satisfaction with their major and stimulate their Entrepreneurial Intentions.
