From 1990s the Ministry of Education and KERIS have developed nationwide academic resource sharing and service system based on universities, and have contributed to bridge the gap of information and to facilitate resource sharing between universities. Meanwhile, in Japan which starts 15 years earlier than us, the Ministry of Education and NII built nationwide academic resource sharing and service system with starting on the project of university holding resource sharing and until now have shown similar aspect of development like us. But lately, since information environment has been changing rapidly, Japan try to find new paradigm which goes around electronic resources management substitute for physical resources and open access based academic communication, institutional repository which disseminate university's research output to the outside world. This study compare academic resource sharing and service system between Japan and Korea and try to suggest for Korean academic resource sharing and service system development. In Korea, firstly we should try to replacing published resources management system to electronic resources', secondly, reorganizing oversea's resource sharing and service system, thirdly, reactivating institutional repository toward open access, finally, unification of distracted driving force.

본 연구는 산업체 임직원 및 오산대학 교수들이 학생들에게 우선 요구하는 직업기초역량이 무엇이고, 우리나라 대학들에서는 이러한 직업기초역량을 향상시키기 위해 어떤 노력을 기울이고 있는지를 파악하여, 향후 오산대학 재학생의 직업기초역량 향상 방안을 모색, 이를 대학의 정책에 반영하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 정승환(2005)이 개발한 직업기초능력 진단지를 연구의 목적에 맞게 수정하여 각 학과에 협조문과 함께 배포하여 이를 회수하였다. 그리하여 설문에 응한 총 292명의 산업체 임직원 및 51명의 교수들 자료를 최종 분석하였다. 한편, 우리나라 대학들에서 재학생의 직업기초역량 향상을 위해 어떤 노력을 하고 있는지를 문헌 등을 통해 분석하였다. 조사결과, 첫째, 각 직업기초역량별 하위 항목들에 대한 중요도 대비 현재수준을 통해 개발이 요구되는 직업기초역량을 산업체 임직원들의 담당업무별로 알아본 결과, 사무 관리직은 '자기개발 관리능력', '문제해결능력', 그리고 영업서비스직은 '문제해결능력', '자기개발 관리능력'을, 기술 생산직도 '문제해결능력', '자기개발 관리능력'을 기타 업무의 경우도 '문제해결능력', '자기개발 관리능력'을 부족한 역량으로 꼽았다. 둘째, 교수들이 속한 학과의 계열별로 볼 때, 공학계열은 '기획능력', '자기개발 관리능력', '문제해결능력', '비즈니스 예절'을 그리고 인문사회계열은 '자기개발 관리능력', '기획능력', '문제해결능력', '비즈니스예절', '직업윤리'를, 기타 계열은 '문제해결능력', '기획능력', '직업윤리', 자기개발 관리능력', '정보능력'의 순으로 부족한 역량으로 꼽았다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 오산대학 각 계열 재학생들에게 우선 요구되는 직업기초역량 둥에 대해 논의하였다.

Here we report the genome sequence of Veillonella atypica strain KHUD-V1 isolated from subgingival dental plaque of Korean chronic periodontitis patients. Unlike other V. atypica strains, KHUD-V1 carries two prophage regions and prophage remnants, as well as several genes homologous to prophage-associated virulence factors, such as virulence-associated protein E, a Clp protease, and a toxin-antitoxin system. The isolate and its genome sequence obtained here will aid to understand the diversity of the genome architecture of Veillonella within an evolutionary framework and the role of prophages that contribute to the genetic diversity as well as the virulence of V. atypica.

We present here a draft genome sequence of Bifidobacterium dentium strain ATCC 15424, originally isolated from pleural fluid of an empyema patient. The genome is 2,625,535 bp in length and has a GC content of 58.5%. The genome includes 2,154 protein-coding genes, 4 rRNAs, and 55 tRNAs. Unlike other B. dentium strains isolated from human dental caries, ATCC 15424 carries 247 strain-specific genes, including prophage remnants and type III/IV secretion system proteins, N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine amidase, and PRTRC system protein E. The sequence information will contribute to understanding of the natural variation of B. dentium as well as the genome diversity within the bacterial species.

The recent publications of two major works from Ministry of Environment and Korea National Arboretum (Type specimens collected from Korea at the herbarium of the University of Tokyo, five volumes) and National Institute of Biological Resources (Korean type specimens deposited in foreign herbaria and museums, two volumes excluding other animal groups) on Korean vascular plants have resulted in discrepancies needing either correction or clarification. The former published the results of a portion of T. Nakai's collections deposited at TI, while the latter produced the results about collections of G. Koidzumi's, J. Ohwi's, and S. Kitamura's at Kyoto University and of E. H. Wilson's and H. Leveille's at Harvard University. Consequently some omissions, discrepancies, and conflicts resulted, such as the inclusion of conflicting designations of lectotype, isotype, syntype or holotype, erroneous citations of publications, and misinformation. Suh et al.'s publications about type specimens of Korean plants deposited at TI showed 47 conflicting typifications and 20 typographical and other errors. Type information offered by Yim et al. were discussed, and 75 conflicting typification and 30 typographical and other errors from these two volumes were also brought to notice. It is clear that Suh et al. and Yim et al. merely provided type information without consulting original description of each plant species. It is apparent that all these conflicting designation of types, erroneous citations of publications, and other types of misinformation were as a result of the disregard of original citation and the ignorance of basic type concept.

This paper deals with the cultural and ideoligical background of the landscape designs on Joseon blue and white porcelains in the late Joseon period, and involves the government painters in the official kiln. Dongjeongchuwol-design (동정추월문), painted the full-moon night scene of Dongjeong lake on Jeseon blue and white porcelains, was in fashion in the late Joseon period. It didn't reflected the entirely realistic subject comparing to the painting circles at that time, but the principle and aesthetic appreciation of Royal family who leaded the official kiln. And Sansuinmul-design (산수인물화). painted the man of great caliber in the ancient history with mountain scenery, was similar to the painting manuals such as Gossihwabo (고씨화보) and Dangsihwabo (당시화보). It was a counterpart of Dongjeonchuwol-design on Joseon blue and white porcelains in the late Joseon period. These designs were painted into ogival-shaped frame (릉화창) on the blue and white porcelains in most cases, and adjusted to shape of porcelain. The landscape designs on Joseon blue and white porcelains became stereotyped, involving subjects of folk painting in the late 18th Century and the early 19th Century. This essay will be just a start to research into the landscape designs on blue and white porcelains in the late Joseon period, even though we seldom find works providing strict chronology among some works to the public.

This study designed to nursing student's image of professional nurse before clinical practice using Q-methodology. Using Q-methodology, 43 nursing student sorted 34 statements selected professional nurse type. The statement positions on the sorting continuum were scored from +4(representing the highest level of agreement) through 0(at the neutral position on the continuum) through -4(representing the highest level of disagreement). Factor analysis of the data was undertaken using PC QUANL software to determine if any patterns were discernible. The three factors extracted eigenvalues greater than 1.0 and explained approximately 53.94% of the variation in responses(41.63, 7.41 and 4.9% respectively). The categories were labeled 'Nightingale's nursing philosophy type', 'Consideration of patient type' and 'Self-development type'. Twenty-two students who located to factor 1 "Nightingale's nursing philosophy type". Eleven students who located to factor 2 "Consideration of patient type". Three students sho located to the factor 3 "Self-development type". The significant differences found in the subjective structure of nursing student's image of professional nurse. The study results can be utilized in both an effective nursing education and clinical practice.

This study focused on understanding the Korean university students' (both undergraduates and graduates) use of foreign language for scholarly information retrieval especially in different search strategies employed based on users' characteristics. A new model was developed based on Ellis's behavioral model of information seeking strategies. The research applied both quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the data. The students used a variety of foreign language information seeking strategies at different stages of academic information retrieval based on his/her field of study or level of education. The liberal arts and social science students had more difficulty in selecting proper search terms in the foreign language than the science and technology students. This difficulty resulted in less preference for using foreign language queries by the liberal arts and social science students. The students relied more on the bibliographic and citation information in scholarly information retrieval using foreign language queries than the Korean queries. The research outcomes should provide some guidelines on how the Korean university libraries offer information literacy programs and other services based on the patrons' characteristics.
