교육시설물의 전기에너지 사용량에 따른 운영예산 관리방안 (Operating Budget Management Plan on Electric Energy Consumption of Educational Facilities)

  • 1997년 제7차 교육과정이 개정됨에 따라, 건축물의 형태 변화를 통해 매년 교육시설물의 꾸준한 에너지 사용량 증가로 이어지고 있다. 교육시설에서는 운영예산 산출 시에 수년간 지출실적, 전기요금 단가 인상 등을 고려하여 예산을 산정한다. 이러한 예산산출 방식을 통해 적절하지 않은 운영비의 배분이 이루어져 예산계획 수립에 부정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 교육시설물의 전기에너지 사용량에 따른 운영예산 관리방안 제안을 위해 교육시설물의 전기에너지 사용량 관리모델을 개발하였다. 모델개발을 위해 문헌고찰과 교육시설물의 특성을 고려하여 전기에너지 관련 환경, 물리, 정책 요인별 1차 핵심변수를 도출하였으며, 상관분석을 통해 2차 핵심변수를 도출하였다. 도출된 2차 핵심변수를 기반으로 회귀분석을 실시하여 전기에너지 사용량 관리모델을 개발하고, 이를 활용한 관리방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 관리모델은 각 요인의 변화에 따른 유동적인 운영예산 산출근거로서 활용될 수 있다.

대학 캠퍼스에서의 다분할화의 배경과 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Background and Characteristics of Multi-sected University Campuses)

  • A multi-sected campus can be explained as an university to be consisted of several campuses, which are physically separate, but are functionally interconnected. The basic structure of university campuses started with a single-nuclei structure of which the facilities were layed out around a single campus core, and it has been changed to multi-nuclei layout, where a single campus core was subdivided into several service cores due to increased service demands. The limitation on the expansion of campuses due to urbanization of surroundings leads to the physical separation of the campuses, and the development of information technology made it possible to connect physically-separate campuses to form the multi-sected campus. The three general characteristics of multi-sected campuses were found; 1) the need for programatic specialization of each individual campus, 2) the need for representative imageability for each campus, 3) necessity for physical connectivity between campuses and functional independency for each campus.

노후화된 학교건물의 적정시설투자비 산정모델 적용사례 (Estimating Optimum Investment Cost for Obsolete School Buildings)

  • Area Offices of Education in Korea assign and execute government budget based on the evaluation of school buildings' safety rating and degree of their deterioration. However, it is never easy to estimate the most appropriate investment amount for old buildings under consideration of their service lives and residual values together. A model of estimating optimum investment cost for obsolete school building is developed taking its life cycle cost into account. The model is also applied to six old buildings in five different schools and found that some of the facilities hardly needed further investment and were better to be rebuilt. The study results will be a great beneficial for officers to make right decision on maintaining obsolete school buildings and to maximize tax payers' money.

  • Basic precondition for effective curriculum on learning activities to take place, the internal and external environment of the school facilities, improve the environment of the classroom space and etc. Specifically, the use of classroom space, hardly learners improve their academic motivation to achievement tend to concentrate within the party regularly scheduled class hours. Physical environment surrounding them is giving considerable impact for behavioral psychological and bodily change of the learners. In this study, we are focused on the form of the learner in the general classroom space and classroom environment that can increase the learning effect will be examined. Consequently, What is appropriate classroom environment for learning increase the concentration of elements are presented.

대학 캠퍼스 마스터플랜의 중심공간의 성격과 외부공간의 위계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Campus Core and Hierarchy of Exterior Space in University Campus Masterplan)

  • The intention of the study is to understand a characteristics of 'Campus core' in university campus and to verify the connection and hierarchy of exterior space in campus masterplan. This study concludes that 'Multi-nuclei structure', is where a single campus core was subdivided into several service cores, is an integral part of campus masterplan in process of expansion from campus core and the changing exterior space, by in-depth case analysis of Seoul Women's University Campus.

대학도서관의 공간사용 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Space Usages of Academic Libraries)

  • Korean academic libraries are facing serious space shortage problems due to an inability to accommodate for the rapidly increasing number of printed materials. Despite the current situation, Korean academic libraries have largely focused on impractical applications of the new library paradigm, using technology or management programs to improve the quality of research and learning environments of the university. However, such improvements would be fruitless without first resolving the space shortage crisis. In order to make realistic improvements to the quality of academic libraries, this study used questionnaires to employ the opinions of librarians currently practicing at such Korean libraries. Survey questionnaires about types and causes of space shortage problems, library facility expansion plans, expected effects of expansion, frequency of and reasons for furniture relocation, and tight spaces needing improvement were distributed to selected 4-year college librarians through Google Drive. Analysis of survey responses indicated that library space shortage was largely responsible for the hindrance of research and learning environments. Furthermore, it reflected the urgency to secure book storage space.

  • This paper studies the program to estimate simultaneously the proper size and the number of lecture rooms by sizes in university when the curriculum has been fixed and the number of students present at a lecture class can be predicted. Proposed gradual forms can be applied according to several variables like basis size of lecture rooms, structural modules of the building and ratio of occupation of lecture rooms etc. The validity of proposed method is verified through the application of real case.

  • The aims of this study are proposal for architectural design guidelines and reviewing the remodeling tendencies in the campus facilities. To achieve these purposes, the architectural remodeling characteristics of 23 campus facilities have been investigated, and the technical construction methods were also analyzed for each one of these facilities. The results from this study are as follows : (1) The requests from the changes of academic plan and the degradation and obsolescence are highly occupied the causes of architectural remodeling in campus facilities. (2) In technical construction methods, the horizontal and vertical additions are effective in campus facilities remodeling. (3) According to the recent campus remodeling tendencies, the campus facility remodeling plan and schedule should be included in campus facility master plan.

대학 평생교육기관의 자원과 역량이 학습성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on an Effect that Resources and Capabilities of Lifelong Educational Institutions have on Learning Performances)

  • 최근 평생학습 중요성 증가에 따라 평생교육기관 수 및 평생교육 프로그램에 참가하는 학습자 수가 크게 증가하고 있으며 여러 유형의 평생교육기관 중 가장 학습 받기를 원하는 기관으로 대학 평생교육기관으로 조사되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학 평생교육기관의 지속성장과 경쟁우위 확보방안에 공헌하기 위하여 대학 평생교육 기관의 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고자 자원기반관점이론과 동태적역량이론에 기반하여 전국 대학 평생교육기관 관리자인 팀장급과 학습자와 가장 근접해 상호작용이 활발한 교 강사를 대상으로 조사 분석하였다. 본 연구내용 및 결과는 첫째, 대학 평생교육대학의 자원과 성과의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 그 분석결과 대학 평생 교육기관의 물적자원인 접근편의성, 시설우수성, 인적자원인 교 강사의 우수성은 성과에 정(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 대학 평생교육기관의 동태적역량에 영향을 미치는 선행요인을 파악하고자 하였다. 그 연구결과 접근편의성, 시설 우수성,교 강사 우수성 등 물적, 인적자원과 상사인 원장의 임파워링리더십, 조직분위기(자율성,상호작용)는 동태적역량에 정(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 분석결과는 대학 평생교육기관 특성이 반영된 결과로 해석 할 수 있다. 셋째, 조직의 발전을 위해서는 자원기반관점에 기반한 자원도 중요한 요소지만 대학 평생교육기관의 지속적인 성장과 발전을 위해서는 조직의 역량인 동태적역량이 더욱 중요함을 규명하고자 하였다. 그 연구결과 동태적역량인 흡수역량과 혁신역량은 자원과 성과의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었으며, 마찬가지로 흡수역량, 혁신역량은 상사의 임파워링리더십, 조직분위기(자율성,상호작용)와 성과의 관계에서도 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 자원의 우수성은 대학 평생교육기관을 어느 수준까지 발전시키는데까지는 기여 할 수 있지만 급격히 변화하는 평생교육시장의 동적환경하에서 지속적인 성장과 발전을 위해서는 조직의 동태적역량이 더욱 중요함을 시사하고 있다.

후미히코 마키(Fumihiko Maki)의 대학교육시설에서 근대성과 현대성의 해석에 관한 연구 - 세인트 루이스 워싱턴 대학의 스타인버그 홀과 켐퍼 아트 뮤지움을 중심으로 - (A study on the Interpretation of Modernity & Contemporary in University Educational Projects of Fumihiko Maki - Focus on Steinberg Hall and Kemper Art Museum in Washington University in St. Louis -)

  • The modern day architectural giant, Maki Fumihiko, has lived through both the early and the more recent modernism, Contemporary. In the 1950's he was faithful to the spirit that was founded on the early modernity, Metabolism. In his later years in the 2000's, his style can be distinguished into Neo-Modernism which was based on local influence. The educational system at Washington University and the modern city of Saint Louis carries the continuation of Fumihiko Maki's early and later architectural career. Steinberg Hall and Kemper Art Museum have been built adjacent to each other in an extended period of time. These two projects encompass the changes in the era that has gone through modernism, transformation of an architect's career, and the maturation of the university. Steinberg Hall carries the ideal and the spirit of young Fumihiko Maki, therefore, the basic platform of experimentation of the early Metabolist has been applied. Spatial theory that concentrates on the integration of relations is also evident in this project. In contrast, Kemper Art Museum expresses the work of a 78 year-old veteran from the perspective of Neo-Modernism. This piece focuses on the internal space through the coexistence of a variety of space, and with that it notably interprets the integration of the pieces to the whole as a set theory. The partial change that we see is the evidence of the change in the early and the later modernism, while maintaining the innocence and the spirit of it. This is to highlight the fact that, ultimately, the goal of architecture is to secure the human race's honesty and their freedom expressed through space.
