A Study on the Effects of Teleservice on Travel Demand (텔레서비스가 교통수요에 미치는 영향)

  • This Paper focuses on analyzing the influences of Teleservice on travel behavior and trip demand based on the individual behavior model. The first step is to classify individuals into different Person groups who will follow similar behavior Patterns in terms of travel and communication. And then, the effect of Teleservice on trip demand is estimated using hypothetical scenario. The results on the ability of each person group to adapt themselves to Teleservice show that full-time housekeepers and senior citizens are more likely to be alienated. It is also found that transition probability to Teleservice is high for activities in bank or public office where simple forms of information such as data or text are exchanged. On that basis, it is estimated that in Seoul the savings on trip demand by Teleservice will be 7.6% of total daily trip generations.

  • The SMS(Short Message Service) in Mobile phone is a service that a text message by 80byte is transmitted and received. Recently it's used instead of voice calls. In this paper, We investigate how you take advantage of the SMS for searching information without simply as a means of voice call, and how much efficiency does the SMS have in Location Information Retrieval Services on LBS(Location-based service). Based on the previous topics, we design the information retrieval system using SMS for solveing the rates issue by existing wireless Internet access, and propose the possibility as new forms of content services.

Development of Contents to Improve the Web Accessibility for People with Visual Impairments (시각장애인의 웹 접근성 향상을 위한 콘텐츠개발)

  • Since people with visual impairments are mostly hard to access the Internet they have been neglected from the information-oriented society. Therefore, the contents which consider the web accessibility to readily access to the web by people with visual impairments are an essential component. In this paper, we developed the contents to improve the web accessibility for people with visual impairments. To provide easy access to the web by people with visual impairments, we analyzed the existing web sites for blind people and considered a concise design, and hierarchical structure. Using the PHP, CSS, and Javascript, the necessary functions for the visually handicapped such as focusing, shortcut key, and text equivalent are implemented. The results which are tested by blind users prove the efficiency of the proposed contents.

  • Recently, research and development for the responsive web is increasing. However, studies of responsive web accessibility evaluation is insufficient. In this study, we evaluated and analyzed the accessibility of Responsive Web site. As a result, accessibility errors were found including providing alternative text of image contents, keyboard access and usage, logical move of the focus and providing the title. These errors can also be responsive web errors. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement and modify them.

  • 최근 웹의 폭발적인 성장으로 인하여 웹을 교육의 매개체로 활용하려는 노력이 활성화되고 있다. 그러나 현재 대부분의 웹 기반 교육 시스템들은 대체로 수동적이며, 정적인 하이퍼텍스트 위주이기 때문에, 학습상황을 수시로 점검할 수 있는 상호작용기능이 부족하고, 특정 학습자의 학습결과에 따른 동적인 학습환경의 제시가 어렵다. 일반적으로 웹기반 교육시스템은 다양한 지식계층의 사람들에게 노출되어 있기 때문에 보다 상세한 학습전략이 요구되며, 따라서 최근에는 기존의 지능형 교수시스템(Intelligent Tutoring System: ITS)에서 연구된 풍부한 기술들을 웹 환경에 도입함으로서 보다 지능적이며 적응력 있는 시스템개발에 관한 연구가 활성화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 웹 기반 교육시스템에서의 문제점들을 해소하기 위한 한가지 방안으로 ITS의 동적 교수계획기법을 웹 기반 시스템에 도입한다. 문제영역으로 C 프로그래밍 언어 학습을 선정하여 이를 웹 기반 교수시스템으로 설계하고 구현하였다. 또한 기존 시스템들의 서버 집중형 구조에서 탈피하여 CORBA를 이용한 분산기반구조로 시스템 개발에 접근하였다.

Design of an Intelligent Tutoring System based on Web Learning Assessment (웹 학습 평가에 기반한 지능형 교수 시스템의 설계)

  • Since web-based tutoring systems are generally composed with passive and static hypertext, they could not provide adaptive learning environments according to learning ability of each student. In this study, we suggest an intelligent tutoring system, which grasps the learning state of student and provides each student with dynamic learning materials suitable to individual feature based on learning result. It is an agent based system, in which, courseware knowledge for learning is effectively constructed, the proper feedback according to learning assessment is inferred, and it is given to each student.

  • VoIP(Voice over IP)는 차세대 인터넷 서비스에서 두각을 나타내고 있는 기술이다. 특히 SIP는 텍스트 기반의 프로토콜로써 구현이 쉽고 다른 서비스와의 호환이 쉬러 기존의 H.323을 대체할 기술로써 더욱 주목을 받고 있다. 하지만 SIP에서도 아직 논의되어야 할 부분이 많이 있다. SIP는 전송 프로토콜에 독립적인 응용계층 프로토콜이다. 따라서 종단대 종단 신뢰성 메카니즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 SIP의 응답 메시지의 신뢰성을 위한 메카니즘을 소개하고 시뮬레이션을 통해서 그 성능을 분석한다.

  • Conventional command-based communication services are rapidly substituted by multimedia web-based communication services at most recent times. As the result, many valuable database and services developed by investing lots of human and material resources become to be useless. Therefore in this paper we researched the implementation methods and techniques for making the updates efficiently from the conventional command-based database services to a multimedia web-based database system that made users easily access to database and services.

  • 인터넷 환경의 급속한 성장과 더불어 기존의 텍스트 정보들이 다양한 형태의 멀티미디어 정보(소리, 이미지, 동영상 등)로 대체되었다. 이로 인해 멀티미디어 정보검색의 필요성이 대두되기 시작했다. 멀티미디어 정보검색 중 이미지검색은 크게 주석기반과 특징기반 (color, shape, texture 등) 검색으로 나눌 수 있다. 본 고는 이미지 검색 중 전처리에 해당하는 색상어 질의처리의 한 방법을 제안한다. 즉, 사용자에게 익숙한 자연어 질의로부터 이미지의 특징에 해당하는 색상 정보와 주석에 해당하는 키워드 정보를 중심어 후위원칙기반으로 파싱트리를 구성한 후, 후위순회방식에 의해 불리언 검색을 수행하는 방법을 제안한다.
