대한설비건설협회(회장 박종학)는 월간「설비건설」지령 200호를 맞아 월간「설비건설」의 구독현황을 알아보기 위해 전국 대의원 회원사를 대상으로 2007년 1월 23일부터 2월 5일까지 14일간“월간「설비건설」구독 실태 조사”를 실시했다. 이번 설문조사는 월간「설비건설」이 명실상부한 국내 유일의 설비업계 전문지로서의 위상을 높이기 위해 회원사의 의견을 취합하여 편집발전을 위한 자료로 활용코자 실시한 것이다.

한국양계농협(조합장 오정길)은 지난 2월 23일 서울소재 한강호텔에서 정기대의원회를 개최하였다. 지난해 한국양계농협은 사업결과 17억9천6백만원의 당기순이익을 달성하며 3년 연속 흑자를 기록했다. 그동안 IMF와 HPAI 등으로 인해 양계농가들이 큰 피해를 입는 가운데서도 뼈를 깎는 구조조정을 시행, 통합과정을 거치면서 양계산업을 대표하는 조합으로 면모를 다시 드러내고 있다. 올해 양계농협은 진보적인 발전계획중 하나이며 숙원사업이였던 계란유통센터 설립을 완공하면서 양계산업을 대표하는 조합으로 비상을 꿈꾸고 있다. 이에 본고에서는 첨단시설과 전국최고수준을 자랑하는 한국양계농협 계란유통센터를 방문, 양계산업 선진화 현장을 다녀왔다.

Y2K의 computer virus를 우려하면서 새로운 기대와 희망을 걸었떤 새 천년의 시작은 정말로 다사 다난했다고 보겠다. 미국의 대통령 선거체제의 현대화와 전체적인 개혁을 시사했다. 그러나 역사는 일상 생활의 반복으로 이루어진다는 사실을 모든 사람들이 절실하게 감지하도록 했다. ADA의 신임회장단은 대의원 총회의 수임사항으로 마련된 미국 치과의학의 장래에 대한 보고서를 여러 전문분야를 대표하는 특별위원회를 구성하여 빈틈없이 작성하고 있다. 또한 노령 인구의 폭발적인 증가에 대비하여 치과분야에서 정년 퇴직 후, 보람있는 여생을 보낼 수 있도록 미국 치과의사들이 정년퇴직을 위하여 빈틈없는 준비를 할 수 있도록 ADA는 치과인력의 수요와 충족을 비롯한 여러 가지 필요한 정보를 회원들에게 알리고 있다.

지난 4월 제47차 정기대의원총회에서 정보통신위원회 신설에 대한 승인으로 치협 내에 정보통신위원회가 신설됐으며 서울지부에서도 정보통신부가 설립돼 이제는 치과계도 바야흐로 정보화 시대로 접어들게 됐다. 보건복지부와 의료보험연합회 역시 EDI 방식인 통신을 이용한 의료보험 청구를 적극 권장하고 있어 의료계에서도 컴퓨터를 활용하는 분야가 점차 확대될 전망이다. 개원가에서는 의료보험청구 외에도 덴탈 비전이나 디지털 엑스레이를 네트워크화 하여 활용하고 있으며 대학의 치과병원이나 종합병원 치과에서는 OCS(order communication system)와 PACS(picture archiving & communication system))를 중심으로 전산화 작업을 추진하고 있다. 컴퓨터 없이는 생활할 수 없는 현실 앞에서 치과계에는 전산화가 어느 정도 이루어졌는지 살펴보고 단국치대 교정과 김창환 레지던트의 글을 통해 교정분야에서 컴퓨터가 어떻게 활용되고 있는지에 대해 알아본다.

을유년 새해가 밝았다. 우리 협회도 올해로써 불혹의 나이에 접어들었다. 인생으로 치면 황금기를 맞은 것이다. 그러나 회장의 불신임, 감사의 사퇴 등 얼룩진 여파가 지금도 계속되고 있는가 하면 원칙이나 냉철한 손익분석도 없이 지엽적인 것 때문에 중앙제와 연합제가 소용돌이치고 있는 현실이다. 40년간 20여분의 회장이 재임하였다. 굳이 이들의 개인별 평가를 하지 않더라도 협회의 성장과 쇠락, 단결과 분열 등은 회장의 철학과 리더십에 기인한다는 것은 보편적 사실이다. 이제 한 달 후면 새로운 회장을 선임하게 되고 대행체제의 막을 내린다. 다시는 이러한 일이 없도록 하기 위하여, 좀 더 나은 내일의 협회를 위하여 우리 협회의 이상적인 회장상을 그려보는 특집을 마련하였다. 지면상 많은 분의 글을 싣지는 못하였으나 우리 협회를 관심 있게 지켜보는 외부 인사를 포함하여 서울과 지방 등 다양한 의견을 듣고자 하였다. 입후보 예정자들은 이들의 바람과 스스로를 비견하여 진퇴를 명확히 해야 할 것이고, 회원들은 인터넷을 통한 협회 회원 토론방에 활발한 자기 의견을 개진해 줄 것을 당부한다. 그리하여 대의원들은 지역, 학교, 친불친을 떠나 회원들이 원하는 회장에 가장 가까운 후보자에게 투표해야 할 것이다. 이번 특집이 좀 더 나은 협회의 내일을 여는데 조금이라도 기여하기를 바란다.

The great flowing of information has brought a necessity for good management to make the best use of it in the highly competitive information age. The aims of this study are to investigate the main information sources - divided into largely three groups : literature sources, communication and information technology facilities,), trying to find problem areas associated with IRM, indicating possible solutions. The result shows that internal information sources were regarded the most important and most frequently used. For the use of foreign materials, the higher the level of position is, the more people use them. With respect to communication methods, internal information sources were thought most important. With the dramatic falling of the price despite enormously increased functions, IT facilities are becoming important sources. However, the study reveals the use of them is quite limited to a few well-known facilities, witch indicates that management should pay attention to more efficient use of them and useful training and education methods.

The actual conditions of the labor unions are primitive. First, there is no good records management regulation. At this research, I found it that most regulations of the labor unions were all the same. I think they have been copied a kind of one of originality. Second, the definition of records were very narrow, like documentary evidence. Third, the classification, filing, disposal regulations are the below level of the public institution in 1970s. Fourth, there are no standards of the records scheduling for the labor records. What kind of labor records have the historical values? I could not find, only the documentary evidence value. So, I think The actual conditions of the labor unions are primitive. I investigated the collections of the Southern Labor Archives in USA. There were many kind of records. For example, the records of regional labor unions also central labor unions, pamphlets, journals, photos, personal records, oral history, organizational records like protocols article of associations internal rules, minute books etc. Like this the collections of the Southern Labor Archives in USA are very various. But our actual conditions of the labor unions is far from that. Rather, we just have tried collected records for publishing the white papers. But this habitual practice would not be desirable. Because they must manage the records from the producing time. Mostly, 'laborer history HANNAE' were organised, and they are trying the collecting and management of the labor records. Also They are trying the computerizing, compilation. 'HANNAE' has the condition for the transformation of the labor archives. But if they want to be really, they must make the records management infra and so, should normalize the record management firstly. For example, They must be keep the standardized records management regulations, records scheduling redesigned. the developing standard model for the records management. And they have the vision for the hub of the labor archives. When coming to this, it will be realized the labor archives Now the records for the working class are disappearing. The managing the records for the labor is another labor movement. All together should join it. But I think the supporting of the archival science research colleagues will be the essential part.
