The Study on the RF Transceiver Applied to Cognitive Radio Method (주파수 공유기법을 적용한 RF 송수신기에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper Communication data link equipment on a high speed-hopping method to use the frequency resources efficiently for the frequency environment is introduced such as sensing techniques, using the same frequency band by using the received two-channel technique and the receive filter bank unit applied to be shared with other equipment such as radar and so on. The real-time measurement and analysis were operated for measurement the frequency environment of the operating band in advance. and primarily equipment to develop is analyzed how the interference effect to the radar minimize the operation of radar equipment. In reverse, to use the same frequency band the methods such as frequency sharing techniques are presented in this paper. Finally, by design of the main items of the RF transceiver NF, transmission output, and a simulation of the IMD, such as whether the key is verified prior to meet specifications.

  • WRC-97에서 HAPS 개념이 도입된 후, HAPS 이용 주파수 대역으로 IMT-2000 대역과 Ka 및 V 대역이 지정되었다. IMT-2000 대역에 대한 공유 및 규정 연구는 WRC-03에서 종료되었으나, Ka 및 V 대역에서 타 무선업무와 HAPS를 이용한 고정업무 간의 기술적, 운용적 그리고 규정에 관한 연구를 지속하고 WRC-07에서 연구결과를 검토하기로 하였다. 본 고에서는 WRC-03 회의에서 결의한 IMT-2000 서비스를 제공하는 HAPS 시스템의 이용에 관한 규정 현황을 알아보고, 현재 ITU-R에서 논의중인 Ka및 V 대역에서 HAPS 시스템 활용을 위한 규정 연구 현황을 살펴보고자 한다.

Backup path Setup Algorithm based on the Bandwidth Sharing in Mesh Networks (메쉬 구조의 망에서 대역 공유를 통한 복구 경로 설정 알고리즘)

  • Path setup considering QoS is one of the main problems to solve in Internet traffic engineering. In network restoration that is one of the traffic engineering components, to establish a backup path or backup path for a working path to be protected is the main task. The backup path should have enough bandwidth to guarantee the working paths. Thus this work requires the QoS routing solution that is to set up a backup path as well as a working path at the same time provisioning enough bandwidth. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to setup a backup path that shares the bandwidth of other backup paths whose working path does not pass along the same link with the working path we are considering. In this way we can reduce much bandwidth consumption caused by setting up backup paths. We also analyze the disjoint path computation algorithms. Finally we show simulation results how the algorithm can reduce the bandwidth consumption and how it will affect blocking when we setup paths.

  • Passive Optical Network(PON) architecture is a very simple. However media access protocol is necessary to the PON because the ONUs should share a channel in the upsteam direction. We propose the design of dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm for improved bandwidth utilization in the broad bandwidth access network that uses Ethernet PON. The object of our study shall be to decrease a unused remainder bandwidth of granted timeslot for a upstream traffic transmission. We propose that OLT notifies ONU of maximum transmission window during discovery and ONU request a amount under maximum transmission window after it checks a frame length. We confirm that the proposed algorithm shown improving performance from bandwidth utilization and queueing delay point of view through the simulation result.

  • 본고에서는 세계전파통신회의(WRC: World Radio Conference)에서 IMT로 지정된 주파수 현황과 국내 이동통신 주파수 현황 및 계획을 알아본다. 또한 현재 시점에서 데이터 트래픽 증가 추세에 비추어 2020년 Beyond4G(5G)시대를 대비한 ITU(국제전기통신연합) 해당 표준화그룹의 소요량 예측 및 통신방식별 분담 율을 분석하였다. 주파수 수요예측에 따라 WRC-15에서 IMT 추가 주파수 지정 목적으로 진행하고 있는 위성, 방송, 과학 및 고정 등 기존업무와의 공유 연구 진행현황을 주파수 대역별로 살펴본다. 또한 도시 밀집 지역에서 대용량 데이터 전송을 위한 서비스 기술이 중요해진 시점에서 Beyond4G(5G) 시대를 위해 우리나라가 주도하고 있는 6GHz 이상 대역을 IMT로 활용하기 위한 활동을 소개한다. 마지막으로 WRC가 주파수를 분배 할당하는 방식인 '주파수 대역에 서비스 방식 지정'과 달리 '서비스 방식에 의한 주파수 대역 점유(예: LTE 기술표준(PS-LTE)을 PPDR대역에서 활용) 가능성'등 LTE 기술표준의 확산 추세에 대응하기 위해 5G시대에 준비할 사항에 대한 시사점을 언급하였다.

  • For the cognitive radio (CR) systems sharing the spectrum with narrowband primary devices, this paper presents a fractional bandwidth (FBW) mode utilizing a variable portion of the system band to avoid the interference to or from the primary devices. For the method, the preamble and FBW mode detection algorithm are provided to obtain the FBW mode information during the synchronization. Simulation results in wireless regional area network (WRAN) environments reveal that the FBW mode can be detected reliably without any deterioration of the synchronization performance.

Analysis of Interference Probability according to Distance between Communication Systems in Co-channel (통신시스템간 동일채널에서 단말간 이격거리에 따른 간섭확률 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyze the interference probability according to distance between mobile stations as a parameter which is be used for analysis for co-existing in co-channel of different systems. In order to consider interfering between each systems, we analyze two cases. First, WiBro is an interfering transmitter and WLAN is a victim receiver. Second, WLAN is an interfering transmitter and WiBro is a victim receiver. When interfering transmitter is WiBro and WLAN, interference probability according to distance between systems is analyzed by setting transmit power of 25 and 23 dBm, respectively. These simulation results can be applied into criteria data for channel co-existing issue in real field.

  • In this paper, we consider to obtain the criteria for maximal power of interfering transmitter according to distance between WiBro and WLAN in TVWS. We analyze this criteria as a parameter for co-use when hetero systems share the same frequency channels. In order to make an analysis of relationship between distance and power of two systems, we take into consideration on two cases. First, WiBro is an interfering transmitter and WLAN is a victim receiver. Second, WLAN is an interfering transmitter and WiBro is a victim receiver. Analyzed coexistence results under various co-use scenarios may be widely applied into the technique developed to get the coexisting condition for wireless devices using many communication protocols in same frequency.
