  • We are designed and fabricated the Printed dual monopole antenna with CPW feeder for PCS and IMT2000 band. In this paper il proposed modified dual monopole antenna that is transform conventional monopole antenna to get dual band frequency. The dual monopole antennas had broad bandwidth and omni -directional radiation patterns in construct with conventional monopole antenna. On a monopole operated a stub to other monopole antenna, we could obtain easy an impedance matching. It is increased band width of impedance. The antenna bandwidth is about 150MHz(1.74 ∼1.89〔GHz〕)at 1$^{st}$ resonance frequency and 290MHz(1.95∼2.24GHz) at 2$^{nd}$ resonance frequency on VSWR(equation omitted)1.5 and then we can be got not only 1.75∼1.87〔GHz〕 PCS band but also 1.92∼2.17 〔GHz〕).GHz〕).

  • In this paper, we proposed and fabricated the single-feed dual-band circular patch antenna for S-DMB(Satellite-Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) and ITS(Intelligent Transport Systems) services. The manufactured dual-band antenna showed that the measured -10 dB bandwidth and the minimum return loss was 90 MHz and -35 dB for S-DMB, 180 MHz and -18 dB for ITS, respectively. It is noticed that the measured and the simulated results are agreed well. And the antenna gain of S-DMB and ITS has 2.3 dBi and 2.7 dBi, respectively.

  • The studies to estimate the surface spectral reflectance of an object have received widespread attention using the multi-spectral camera system. However, the multi-spectral camera system requires the additional color filter according to increment of the channel and system complexity is increased by multiple capture. Thus, this paper proposes an algorithm to reduce the estimation error of surface spectral reflectance with the conventional 3-band RGB camera. In the proposed method, adaptive principal components for each pixel are calculated by renewing the population of surface reflectances and the adaptive principal components can reduce estimation error of surface spectral reflectance of current pixel. To evaluate performance of the proposed estimation method, 3-band principal component analysis, 5-band wiener estimation method, and the proposed method are compared in the estimation experiment with the Macbeth Color Checker. As a result, the proposed method showed a lower mean square error between the estimated and the measured spectra compared to the conventional 3-band principal component analysis method and represented a similar or advanced estimation performance compared to the 5-band wiener method.

  • A new digital pre-distortion technique to linearize power amplifier (PA) is proposed for concurrent dual-band transmitters. In the conventional dual-band DPD techniques, two independent dual-feedback paths are required to compensate nonlinear cross-products between different bands as well as the nonlinear self-products of each band's own signal. However, it increases hardware complexity and expense. In this paper, we propose a new DPD method requiring only a single feedback path. In this new structure, the proposed technique first estimates the dual-band PA characteristics using the single feedback path. The DPD parameters are then extracted from the estimated PA characteristics. The DPD performance of the proposed method is validated through computer simulation. According to the results, the proposed technique can achieve comparable performance to the conventional two feedback DPD with significantly reduced hardware complexity.

  • In this paper, high efficient class F power amplifier with dual band has been realized. Dual band power amplifier have used modify stub matching for single FET, center frequency 2.14GHz and 5.2GHz respectively. Dual band amplifier is 32.65dBm output power, gain 11dB and PAE 36% at the 2.14GHz, 7dB gain at the 5.2GHz. Design of a dual band class F power amplifier using harmonic control circuit. The measured are 9.9dB gain, 30dBm output power and PAE 55% at the 2.14GHz, 11.7dB gain at the 5.2GHz. This paper is being used the load-pull method and it maximizes output power and it is using the only one transistor in the paper. As a result, this research will obtain a dual band high PAE power amplifier.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel single-feed dual-band circular polarization square patch antenna for GPS(global positioning system)/DMB(digital multimedia broadcasting) receiver. The proposed antenna has folded slots at the 4 corners and a diagonal slot at the center of the square patch. The measured -10 dB impedance bandwidths of the proposed antenna were 84 MHz ranging from 1.516 GHz to 1.600 GHz for the low frequency band(GPS) and 109 MHz ranging from 2.596 GHz to 2.705 GHz for the high frequency band(DMB). The measured peak linear antenna gains of the proposed antenna were 6.23 dBi at 1.575 GHz for GPS and 6.97 dBi at 2.642 GHz for DMB band.

  • This paper presents dual-mode ring-resonator bandpass filter using LUC of artificial-transmission-lines. The conventional ring-resonator bandpass filter has limitation in miniaturization because the conventional ring-resonator is based on a one wavelength operation, and problem due to undesire harmonics. The ring-resonator bandpass filter is miniaturized and show higher order mode rejection by configuring a ring-resonator with LUC of artificial-transmission-lines. The two-stage bandpass filter is designed and fabricated with a ring-resonator and input/output interdigital coupled line. A fabricated filter shows dual-mode, rejection of whole ultra wide band, sharp skirt characteristics and has ring area reduced by 60 % compared to the conventional ring-resonator bandpass filter.

  • This paper presents a multi-band low noise amplifier(LNA) with switching operation for 2.4, 3.5 and 5.2 GHz bands using CMOS 0.18 um technology. The proposed circuit uses switching transistors to achieve the input and output matching for multi-band. By using the switching transistors, we can adjust the transconductance, gate inductance and gatesource capacitance at input stage and total output capacitance at output stage. The proposed LNA exhibits gain of 14.2, 12 and 11 dB and noise figure(NF) of 3, 2.9 and 2.8 dB for 2.4, 3.5 and 5.2 GHz, respectively.
