A Study on Blue Light Blocking Performance and Prescription for Blue Light Blocking Lens (청광차단렌즈의 청광차단성능과 처방에 관한 고찰)

  • Purpose: To investigate blue light rejection and the percentage of blue light in the visible light of blue light blocking lens according to light source, and to study prescriptions for blue light blocking lens Methods: UV-VIS spectrophotometer was used for blue light rejection and the percentage of blue light in the visible light according to light source, and the percentage of blue light in solar light was used to evaluate the prescription for blue light blocking lens. Results: The blue light rejection and the percentage of blue light in the visible light of each lens were depending on light sources. Through the way to compare the percentages of blue light in the visible light passing through the lens with that in solar light, blue light blocking lenses suitable to each light source could been selected. Conclusions: In the prescription for blue light blocking lens, inquiry for user's display must be preceded. And then the percentages of blue light in the visible light passing through the lens based on that in solar light may be useful as a method of evaluating the prescription for blue light blocking lens.

  • Spermiogenesis in Japanese white-toothed shrew. Crocidura dsinezumi was investigated by transmission electron microscope. Spermiogenesis was divided into 12 phases 14 steps, based on the morphological features of the nucleus and change of organelles in cytoplasm. The nucleus of spermatids in Golgi (step $1{\sim}2$) phase were spherical; however, they were changed into oval in the cap (step $3{\sim}6$) phase. Flagellum appeared in the middle of acrosomal phase; on the other hand, slender and long spermatid head was formed in maturation phase. The head of spermatids faced the lumen in step 1 to step 6 (from Golgi to cap phase), but, in step 7 to step 14 (from acrosomal to spermiation phase), it turned its head to the basal lamina of the seminiferous epithelium. The nucleus and acrosome were elongated maximally in step 10. The condensation of chromatin started in late acrosomal (step 10) phase, and it was completely finished and homogenized in the middle of maturation (step 12) phase. Multivesicular body appeared near the acrosomal vacuole during the middle cap (step 5) phase, and a large number of them were observed near the Golgi apparatus in the late cap (step 6) phase. Considering all the results, the spermiogenesis might be useful information to analyse the differentiation of spermatogenic fells.

Convergence Speed Improvement in MMA Algorithm by Serial Connection of Two Stage Adaptive Equalizer (2단 적응 등화기의 직렬 연결에 의한 MMA 알고리즘의 수렴 속도 개선)

  • This paper deals with the mMMA (modified MMA) which possible to improving the convergence speed that employing the serial connecting form of two stage digital filter instead of signal filter of MMA adaptive equalizer without applying the variable step size for compensates the intersymbol interference by channel distortion in the nonconstant modulus signal. The adaptive equalizer can be implemented by signal digital filter using the finite order tap delay line. In this paper, the equalizer is implemented by the two stage serial form and the filter coefficient are updated by the error signal using the same algorithm of MMA in each stage. The fast convergence speed is determined in the first stage, and the residual isi left at the output of first stage output is minimized in the second stage filter. The same digital filter length was considered in single stage and two stage system and the performance of these systems were compared. The performance index includes the output signal constellation, the residual isi and maximum distortion, MSE that is measure of the convergence characteristics, the SER. As a result of computer simulation, mMMA that has a FIR structure of two stage, has more good performance in every performance index except the constellation diagram due to equalization noise and improves the convergence speed about 1.5~1.8 time than the present MMA that has a FIR structure of single stage.

  • The objective of this study was to assess the possibility of detecting Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus (FMDV) from the herd-based oral fluids specimens collected by the cotton ropes from pig farms that were found as FMDV nonstructural protein (NSP) antibodies positive. The cotton ropes were applied to detect FMDV in the selected pig farms which NSP antibodies were continuously detected in 2016, including the one pig farm which FMDV antigen were detected at the specimens from the pigsty environment. As the result, FMDV antigen were not detected in the oral fluid specimens collected by the cotton ropes. Theoretically, to detect FMDV antigen from the pigs with NSP antibodies has very low possibility because FMDV antigen disappeared at the time when NSP antibodies were produced by FMDV. Therefore, in order to detect FMDV antigen from the oral fluids using the cotton rope, it would be more effective to be applied to target the FMDV infected pigs rather than the NSP antibodies positive pigs. The collected oral fluids using cotton rope could be useful test specimens to monitor high-density pig populations for FMDV infection. Then, oral fluids sampling using cotton rope will be used for the efficient FMDV surveillance to detect FMDV antigen.

  • 이륙중량 4000kg, 10-12인승급 다목적 헬리콥터에 적용가능한 엔진 개량 개발을 목표로 기존 헬리콥터 엔진을 개량대상으로 선정하고 이러한 다목적 헬기의 요구조건에 부합하기 위해 기존 엔진의 요소부품을 재설계하였다. 첫 단계로 최소변경으로 720 hp에서 840 hp로 출력을 증강시키기 위하여 2단 축류압축기의 기존 입구 유도익을 제거하고 익현의 길이를 증가하여 유량 및 압축비를 증가시킴으로써 출력 증강을 얻도록 재설계를 수행하였다. 이러한 2단 축류압축기의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 두 번째 단 단독시험 및 전체 2단에 대한 성능시험이 수행되었으며 첫 번째 단의 성능은 이 결과로부터 도출되었다. 성능시험결과 전체 2단 압축기는 유량 3.088 kg/s에서 압력비 2.14, 단열효율 88%의 성능을 갖는 것으로 나타났으며 압축기 출구의 압력 및 온도 분포를 레이크를 이용하여 측정하였다.

A Novel CMOS Rail-to-Rail Input Stage Circuit with Improved Transconductance (트랜스컨덕턴스 특성을 개선한 새로운 CMOS Rail-to-Rail 입력단 회로)

  • In this paper, a novel rail-to-rail input stage circuit with improved transconductance Is designed. Its excellent performances over whole common-mode input voltage Vcm range is demonstrated by circuit simulator HSPICE. The novel input stage circuit comprises additional 4 input transistors and 4 current sources/sinks. It maintains DC currents of signal amplifying transistors when one of the differential input stage circuits operates, but it reduces these currents to 1/4 when both differential input stage circuits operates, As a result, a operational amplifier with the novel circuit maintains nearly constant transconductance performance and unity-gain frequency in strong inversion region. The novel circuit allows an optimal frequency compensation and uniform operational amplifier performance over whole Vcm range.

초등학교 소집단 협력학습을 통한 수학 문제해결력에 관한 연구

  • 학교 현장에서 아이들을 지도하다 보면 문제해결력이 상당히 낮다는 것을 자주 경험하곤 한다. 따라서 그러한 문제점에 대하여 고민하고 다양한 방법을 생각해 보는데, 그 해결 방안으로 소집단 협력학습을 실시하여 아이들의 전반적인 문제해결능력을 높여 보고자 본 연구를 실시하게 되었다. 그러기 위하여 소집단의 구성을 수학 성적을 토대로 하여 5단계로 분류하여 실시하였다. 이에 따른 연구 문제로는 크게 3가지로 정하였는데 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소집단 협력학습이 일제 학습에 비하여 수학 문제해결 능력을 향상시켰는가? (실험반과 비교함) 둘째, 소집단 협력학습이 개인별 수학 문제해결능력을 향상시켰는가? (개인별 비교; 실험반에 국한됨) 셋째, 소집단 협력학습이 수학 교과에 대한 아동들의 수학적인 태도변화를 가져왔는가? 위에서 제시한 연구 문제들을 해결한 결과, 실험반이 비교반보다 문제해결력이 유의미한 수준으로 높게나왔고, 또한 5단계로 분류한 아동들 개개인의 문제해결력에서는 특히 중하위권에 있는 아동들이 실험 후에 문제해결력이 높게 나왔다. 끝으로, 아동들의 수학적인 태도 변화에 관한 설문에서는 소집단 협력학습으로 인하여 수학에 대한 흥미와 자신감이 많이 생긴 것으로 나왔다. 따라서 7차 교육과정에서 주장하는 단계형 수준별 교육과정을 실행하는데 있어서 소집단 협력학습이 하나의 대안이 될 수 있을거라 생각하고, 아동들의 문제해결력을 높이는 또 하나의 수업 형태로서도 시도해 볼만한 것이라 생각한다.

  • This study was analyze the performance of Forest Work Team from 1999 to 2003. Following recommendations were come up by reviewing the performance of Forest Work Team. The volume of forest works should be increased in order to supply the constant daily work. This would provide the increase of their salary and maintain their salary and maintain their livelihood. The Forest Work Teams should be the members of registered business with highly trained manpower. Qualified Work Team should have extra financial incentive by comparing with general forest workers who did not have adequate skills. The percentage of the certified forest workers should be increased by providing the technical training. To increase the efficiency of forest work, the forest mechanization should be accomplished and the training of forest mechanization had to be offered regularly for the forest workers, and provided them with an education allowance.

  • This paper proposes a new MVQMultistage Vector Quantizer) using a hybrid structure. While in a conventional MVQ, the quantizers of all stages perform the encoding procedure for input signals, we introduce a quantizer that performs selectively. The proposed quantizer with a hybrid structure is composed of a FSVQ(Finite-State Vector Quantizer) for the first stage and a ordinary VQ(Vector Quantizer) for the second stage. A input block is firstly encoded by the FSVQ of the first stage. If the Euclidean distortion measure between original signals and the codevector selected from the state codebook of the FSVQ is less than a prespecified value, only the FSVQ is used for image coding. Otherwise, both the FSVQ of the first stage and the ordinary VQ of the second stage are used for image coding. While the conventional MVQ has an advantage that can achieve low encoding complexity in comparison to the ordinary VQ, but has a disadvantage that is suboptimal with respect to the performance measure and can not achieve the bit rate reduction, the proposed method achieve not only the bit rate reduction but also the performance improvement.

  • This paper proposes a single-power-stage high frequency resonant AC-DC converter with high power factor using ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching), and integrates a conventional converter with two stage into single stage converter. Input power factor is possible to be improved as a high power factor because inductor for power factor correction(PFC) is connected in input and converter is operated in discontinued current mode(DCM) with constant duty cycle and variable switching frequency. The conventional converter with two stage need to add a switch in order to control a power factor, but single stage converter have a advantage that system is simple and cost is down, confidence is improved, etc. This paper described a operation principle and characteristic analysis for single stage AC-DC converter with high power factor and have evaluated characteristic values by using normalized parameter. We make a experimental equipment using MOSFET as a switching device on the basis of characteristic values obtained from characteristic evaluations and we conform a rightfulness of theoretical analysis by comparing theoretical waveforms and experimental waveforms.
