Effect of Mixing Time by Mix Truck on the Physical Properties of Lightweight Air-mixed Soil (믹스트럭 내 교반시간이 경량기포혼합토의 물성에 미치는 영향)

  • As the physical and mechanical properties of lightweight air-mixed soil change in the procedure of transportation of mix truck, it is necessary to assure whether the properties during construction satisfy those in design. In this study, variations of properties of mixed soil after transportation by mix truck are proved by field test. Lightweight air-mixed soil used field test the unit weight of $9.0{\pm}1.0kN/m^3$, the flow value of $190{\pm}20mm$ was produced. To analyze variations of properties of mixed soil the unit weight and flow value of the sample before and after transport was measured unconfined compressive strength tests were performed. Mixing time was 19~175 minutes diversified. As the test results, it is known that the density, the flow value and the unconfined compressive strength of lightweight air-mixed soil change by transportation, but these values satisfy the specifications of material of air-mixed soil. After transportation the average value of the unit weight and flow value change in the flow of the $(+)0.10kN/m^3$, 4.8 mm respectively, the average change in the unit weight and the flow value due to the mixing time was constant. And unconfined compressive strength of 28-day specimen increases from 20 to $150kN/m^2$. But, these values do not have some clear relationship with the transportation time within 175 minutes which is longest test time. Consequently, Within 175 minutes the changes of properties by transportation are too small to show some problems in the construction field.

달착륙선 지상 시험모델 통합 시험 전 전장계 및 소프트웨어계 최종 점검 환경 구축

  • 한국항공우주연구원에서는 2010년부터 달착륙선 지상 시험모델 개발을 진행하고 있으며 2012년 하반기에 추력 시험을 비롯한 전반적인 전장계 및 소프트웨어계 통합 시험을 계획하고 있다. 본 통합 시험은 탑재 컴퓨터와 VDE를 비롯한 전자 장비가 올바르게 동작하고 있는지 확인하고 소프트웨어가 이들을 잘 제어하고 있는지에 대한 시험 및 하이드라진 추력 시스템에서 본체로부터 명령을 잘 전송받아 적절한 추력을 발생시키고 있는지에 대한 시험 2가지로 크게 구분된다. 통합시험을 통해서 통신 시험용 도구(LECT, Lunar Explorer Communication Tool)에 대한 성능 검증도 같이 수행될 예정이다. 소프트웨어계에 대해서는 각 소프트웨어 모듈에 대한 단위 시험 및 통신 시험용 도구와 연결될 상태에서 통합 성능 시험이 수행될 예정이다. 통합 시험을 앞두고 전장계 및 소프트웨어계의 최종 성능 점검을 위해서 데이터 획득 시스템을 구성하여 입력 및 출력을 모든 채널에 대해서 관찰함으로 다양한 운용 시나리오 하에서 예측된 결과를 보이는지 확인할 예정이며 본 논문에서는 상기 최종 점검 환경에 대한 개념 및 규격, 그리고 제작, 운용 및 시험에 대한 내용을 기술한다.

  • 이 논문은 대어휘, 화자독립 음성인식 시스템인 KT-STOCK과 이 시스템에 대한 전화망을 통한 실험적 실용시험에 대해 기술하였다. KT-STOCK은 현재 주식시장에 상장된 712개 회사의 현재주가를 음성을 이용하여 검색할 수 있는 시스템이다. 이 시스템은 hidden markov model 기술에 기반을 둔 고립단어 인식 시스템이며 유사음소를 기본 인식단위로 사용한다. KT-STOCK은 1994년 6월 24일부터 실험적 실용시험 중에 있다. 중간 결과에 따르면 모의 실험 결과는 실제 환경에서의 시험과 차이가 있는 거승로 나타났다. 실제 환경에서 이 시스템의 인식률은 현재 61.9%이다.

Prediction of Physical Characteristics of Cement-Admixed Clay Ground (점토-시멘트 혼합 지반의 물리적 특성 예측)

  • Physical characteristics of cement-admixed clay such as water content, specific gravity, unit weight and void ratio are main factors for strength, compressibility and prediction of consolidation behavior. In the past, the physical characteristics of admixed soils could be understanded through complex laboratory tests and field survey after construction. In this study, the tests were performed with conditions such as clay water contents 0%-170%, cement contents 5%-25% and curing period 3-90days after that analyzed for changes which are water content, specific gravity unit weight and void ratio of admixed soils. A prediction of properties through mechanical relationships with clay in situ water content, cement content and curing period could be proposed using the test results. The prediction equation of void ratio of admixed soils was derived using void ratio equation in geotechnical engineering and compared with test results of bangkok clay and then this study could be verified.

CUTIG: An Automated C Unit Test Data Generator Using Static Analysis (CUTIG: 정적 분석을 이용한 C언어 단위 테스트 데이타 추출 자동화 도구)

  • As unit testing should be performed repeatedly and continuously, it is a high-cost software development activity. Although there are many studies on unit test automation, there are less studies on automated test case generation which are worthy of note. In this paper, we discuss a study on automated test data generation from source codes and indicate algorithms for each stage. We also show some issues of test data generation and introduce an automated test data generating tool: CUTIG. As CUTIG generates test data not from require specifications but from source codes, software developers could generate test data when specifications are insufficient or discord with real implementation. Moreover we hope that the tool could help software developers to reduce cost for test data preparation.

Use of Neural Networks on Concrete Mix Design (콘크리트의 배합설계에 있어서 신경망의 이용)

  • In concrete mix design we need the informations of the codes, the specifications, and the experiences of experts. However we can't consider all factors regarding concrete mix design. The final acceptance depends on concrete quality control test results. In this process we meet the uncertainties of materials. temperature, site environmental situations, personal skillfulness. and errors in calculations and testing process. Then the mix design adjustments must be made. Concrete mix design and adjustments arc somewhat complicated, time-consuming. and uncertain tasks. In this paper, as a tool to minimize the uncertainties and errors the neural network is applied to the concrete mix design. Input data to train and test the neural network are obtained numerically from the results of design following the concrete standard specifications of Korea. The 28-days compressive strengths which are variate according to the uncertainties and errors are considered. The results show that neural networks have a strong potential as a tool for concrete mix design.

A Study on the Development of Design Chart for Drilled Shaft Socketed into Weathered Zone Using DCPT (Driving Cone Penetrometer Test) (DCPT를 이용한 풍화대 소켓 현장타설말뚝의 설계도표 개발에 관한 연구)

  • For the development of design chart for drilled shafts socketed into weathered zone, the 6 bi-directional pile load tests with load transfer measurements done in two in-situ sites were performed. Also, DCPTs were performed in each test point. Maximum unit skin frictions and maximum unit end bearing capacities from pile load test results were analyzed. Inter-relationships between DCPT's characteristics were also analyzed. In the soils, the inter-relationships of maximum unit skin friction and DCPT appeared so low. But in the weathered zones, inter-relationships between maximum unit skin friction / maximum unit end bearing capacity and DCPT were so high that the coefficient of correlation is over 0.70.

Analysis of the Correlation between Compaction Characteristics and Spectral Information of Reactive Materials for Absorption of Oil Contaminant (유류 오염물 흡수가 가능한 반응재료의 다짐 특성-분광정보 상관관계 분석)

  • Purpose: The response technology is needed to prevent the spill of highly toxic oil contaminants in advance. Therefore, this paper described the results of an experimental study to predict the engineering properties of the developed reactive material. Method: Compaction tests and spectral information acquisition experiments were conducted on the reactive materials, and the results were evaluated. In addition, the correlation between spectral information and maximum dry unit weight was analyzed to evaluate the possibility of predicting the engineering properties for reactive materials. Result: The compaction test results showed that the maximum dry unit weight was in the range of approximately 9kN/m3 to 10kN/m3. The spectral information confirmed that the maximum reflectance decreased as the polynorbornene decreased. Conclusion: It was confirmed that the maximum dry unit weight of the reactive material for absorbing oil contaminants can be predicted using the maximum reflectance according to the component ratio of the reactive material.

  • The composite lattice structures have advantages of high specific stiffness and strength and are mainly applied to the structures of launch vehicles that carry the compressive load. However, since these structures are manufactured by filament winding technology, there are some defects and voids found in the knots. For these reasons, the stiffness and strength of the lattice structures have to be compared with finite element model for predicting design load. But, the full scale test is difficult because time and space are limited and the shape of structure is complex, and hence the simple and reliable test methods for examination of stiffness are needed. In this paper, subelements of composite lattice structures were prepared and compressive and bending test were conducted for examination of stiffness of helical and hoop rib. Test methods for subelements of composite lattice structures that has curved and twisted shape were supposed and compared with finite element analysis results.

  • 급격한 산업화와 도시화로 인한 도시유역의 불투수면의 증가와 이에 따른 배수능력의 저하로 인해 도시 물순환의 왜곡이 발생하였다. 따라서 과거 도시 물관리 기법의 한계가 나타났으며 이를 위해 저영향개발 기법 등과 같은 도시 물관리 기법의 패러다임이 변화하였다. 본 연구에서는 저영향개발 기법에서 도시유역 내 활용이 유용한 침투형 시설 중 투수블럭에 대한 물순환 성능평가를 실외실험을 통해 분석하였다. 성능평가 실험은 부산대학교 양산캠퍼스 한국 GI&LID 센터 내 투수블록 뿐만 아니라 블록 하부 골재층까지 설치가 가능하도록 되어있어 실제 현장과 유사한 환경을 구축이 가능한 2.4×10.9×0.4 (m) 규모의 주차장형 LID 실증시험시설을 활용하였다. 인공강우 분사를 위한 실외 인공강우모사 장치 크기는 2×2(m)으로 본 시험을 위하여 5개의 인공강우모사 장치를 연결하여 활용하였으며, 본 시험장치는 강우를 공급하기 위한 수조와 펌프, 일정한 유량을 유입하기 위한 유량계, 강우를 분사하기 위한 노즐, 인공강우가 실제 강우와 같이 자유낙하 하도록 구현하기 위한 오실레이터 등으로 구성되었다. 시험대상인 틈새투수블록은 석재블록 규격 400×600×100 mm이며 재질은 받침안정층(흙), 투수블록(화강석)으로 구성되어 있다. 실험의 시나리오는 시험체에 강우강도 30mm/hr, 50mm/hr, 100mm/hr에 해당하는 양을 1시간 동안 유입하여 시험 시작 후, 강우지속시간, 표면유출지속시간, 표면유출량을 1분 단위로 측정. 시험체에 유공관이 설치된 경우에는 침투유출지속시간, 침투유출량도 함께 1분 단위로 측정하였으며 각 강우강도별로 측정하고, 1회 측정 후, 각 시험별 시험 대상체의 조건을 같게 하기 위한(하부 지반의 건조) 약 3일 이후(상황에 따라 변동 가능) 시험하였다. 본 실험의 결과, 강우강도가 30 mm/hr와 50 mm/hr인 경우에는 화강석 틈새투수블록포장에서 지표 유출이 발생하지 않았으며, 강우강도 100 mm/hr의 경우 260 L의 지표 유출이 발생하여, 불투수표면 대비 84%의 지표유출 저감률을 보여줌으로서 투수블럭에 물순환 성능에 대한 효과를 분석하였다.
