Effects of Protein and Lipid Levels of Extruded Pellet on Growth and Body Composition of Flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus (건조 pellet 사료의 단백질 및 지질 함량이 넙치의 성장 및 체성분에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of protein and lipid levels of extruded pellet on growth and body composition of juvenile flounder. Six extruded dry pellets were formulated to contain two protein levels (50 and 55%) and three lipid levels (8, 12 and 15%). Triplicate groups of fish (initial mean weight 21 g) were hand-fed to apparent satiation two times a day for 9 weeks. Survival, weight gain and daily feed intake were not significantly affected by dietary protein and lipid levels. Feed efficiency and protein efficiency ratio were significantly (P<0.001) affected by dietary lipid level, and tended to increase as dietary lipid level increased. Feed efficiency ratio of fish fed the 55% protein diet with 15% lipid was not significantly different from that of fish fed the 50% protein diet with 15% lipid, but significantly (P<0.05) higher than that of fish fed the other diets. Protein efficiency ratio of fish fed the 55% protein diet with 15% lipid was significantly (P<0.05) higher than that of fish fed the 50% protein diet with 8% lipid and 55% protein diets with $8{\sim}12%$ lipids. The contents of moisture, crude protein and lipid in the liver was significantly (P<0.01) affected by dietary lipid level. The results of this study indicate that an increase in lipid level at 50-55% protein in extruded pellet can improve feed efficiency for juvenile flounder.

Varietal Difference of Seed Protein Content and Amion Acid Composition in Rapeseed (유채의 단백질함량과 아미노산조성의 품종간 차이)

  • To obtain the basic informations about the repeseed Quality improvement, If varieties were analyzed for their seed protein content and amino acid composition, and discussed comparing to several other oilseed crops or varietal origin and seed weight or maturity. Total protein content of the tested varieties were ranged from 15.3 to 36.2% with mean protein content of 23.2%. The highest protein content was recorded in B. hirta var. Ochre, whereas the lowest in B. napus var. Mirado. Grouped by seed weight, small seed varieties were higher in protein content. A high negative correlation (-0.524) was observed between the content of protein and oil. Further, more the relationship between protein content and 1,000 seed weight was also very significant with the correlation coefficient of -0.622. The amino acid composition of rapeseed meal was characterized by a relatively high methionine and lysine content. Main amino acids were glutamic and aspartic acid in rapeseed.

  • Effects of leaf and pod removal on changes in dry weight and protein content of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] cultivar 'Hwangkeumkong' were measured at the research farm of Korea University in 1992. The upper 40% and lower 60% of leaves and pods were subjected to treatments at the growth stage of beginning pod(R3). Leaf dry weight of lower part was increased by upper leaf-lower pod removal, but seed dry weight of upper part was decreased. The upper leaf-lower pod removal also increased stem dry weight and decreased upper pod dry weight. Protein content was higher in lower leaves than upper leaves. Seed protein contents were decreased both upper leaf-lower pod removal and lower leaf-upper pod removal treatments. The upper leaf-lower pod removal showed the highest leaf and the lowest seed protein quantities among the five treatments. These results indicated that protein sources were moved from lower to upper parts but weak in remobilization from leaves for the long distance translocation during the reproductive growth period of soybean plants.an plants.

  • 산란계에서는 성장중인 육계나 육성계에 비교하여 사료소비량과 단백질요구량의 결정에 더 많은인자가 영향을 주게된다. 이러한 여러가지 인자들중에서 가장 중요한 것은 닭의 크기나 품종, 환경온도, 주령 및 사료의 에너지 함량을 들수가 있다. 본소고에서는 산란계사료중의 단백질함량의 결정에 관계하는 이러한 인자들을 중심으로 설명해 보려고 한다.

Effects of Salt and Alkaline Reagent on Rheological Properties of Instant Noodle Flour Differing in Protein Content (소금과 알칼리제가 단백질 함량이 다른 라면 밀가루의 리올로지 성질에 미치는 영향)

  • The rheological properties of various flour blends of HRW-WW and DNS-WW having protein contents of $9.12{\sim}9.78%$ in the presence or absence of salt and alkaline reagent (an equal mixture of$Na_2CO_3\;and\;K_2CO_3$) were studied. The farinograph absorptions of HRW-WW and DNS-WW blends was increased by 1% and 0.6%, respectively, with increasing protein content by 0.33%. Salt (0.17%) decreased the absorption by 1% regardless protein contents. Alkaline reagent (0.17%) or a combination of salt and alkaline reagent had no effect on absorption of flours, indicating that the effect of salt on decreasing absorption is masked by alkaline reagent. The protein content of the flour in the presence or absence of salt, alkaline reagent or both showed a highly positive correlation with all reference points of farinograph and extensograph, but the peak viscosity of amylograph was negatively correlated with protein content only in the presence of salt, alkaline reagent or both.

  • This study has been carried out to investigate the effect of protein components of a diet on the increasing of larval body weight and diet efficiency, as well as the amylase activity of larval digestive juices during the 5th instar. Defending on the amounts of soybean meal as a protein source, the six different kind of artificial diets containing mulberry leaf powder fed to the larvae. The results obtained may be summarized as follows: 1. As the protein components of the diet were increased, the amount of increased larval body weight was also increased. 2. As the protein components of the diet were increased, both the cocoon weight and cocoon layer weight were also increased. 3. As the protein components of the diet were increased, both the amount of diet digested and coefficient of digestibility were also increased. 4. As the protein components of the diet were increased, the diet efficiency of larvae were also increased. 5. But the experimenters could not observe any correlation between the increase of protein components of a diet and the amylase activity of the digestive juices.

Effects of the Dietary Protein and Energy Levels on Growth in Fat Cod (Hexagrammos otakii Jordan et Starks) (사료의 단백질 및 에너지 함량이 쥐노래미 성장에 미치는 영향)

  • Two-month feeding experiment was conducted to investigate the optimum dietary protein level and energy to protein ratio in fat cod (Hexagrammos otakii Jordan et STARKS). The fish averaging 29 g were fed with one of the isocaloric diets containing 30, 40, 50 or $60\%$ of protein, or with one of the isoproteic diets containing 9, 10, 11 or 12 of available energy/protein (E/P) ratio. Weight gain and feed efficiency increased significantly with dietary protein level up to $50\%$, then decreased with $60\%$ protein diet (P<0.05). Daily protein intake increased significantly with dietary protein level, whereas protein efficiency ratio decreased with dietary protein level (P<0.05). Second order polynomial regression analyses of percent weight gain and daily protein intake may indicate that the adequate dietary protein level is $45\%$ and daily protein requirement per 100g fish is 1.5g for maximal growth. Weight gain, feed efficiency and protein efficiency from fish led the diet containing 12 of E/P ratio were significantly higher than those from fish fed the other diets (P<0.05). Daily feed or protein intake from fish fed the diet containing 12 of E/P ratio was significantly lower than those from fish fed the other diets (P<0.05). Daily lipid intake increased significantly with dietary E/P ratio (P<0.05).

단백질 수준에 따른 비태인의 급여가 산란계의 생산능력과 난품질, 혈액 성상에 미치는 영향

  • 비태인의 급여(0, 600 ppm)가 사료의 단백질 수준(14, 16 %)에 따라 산란계의 생산성과 난품질, 혈액성상, 간과 가슴육의 일반성분에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 83주령 하이라인 산란계 192수를 이용하여 12주간 사양실험을 실시하였다. 기초사료는 에너지 수준이 2,800 kcal/kg, methionine과 lysine, cystine의 수준은 단백질 수준에 비례하도록 하였다. 조사항목으로 산란율과 난중, 사료섭취량, 사료요구율, 계란품질은 4주 간격으로 측정했다. 실험 종료시 복강지방과 혈액중 total protein과 albumin, BUN, triglyceride, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol 함량, 간의 methionine, choline 함량, 간과 가슴육의 수분, 조단백질, 조지방 함량을 측정하였다. 산란율은 단백질 수준에 따라 증가하였으며(P<0.05) 비태인 급여에 의한 차이는 없었다. 난중은 단백질과 비태인 급여로 증가하였으며(P<0.05) 산란양은 단백질 수준이 증가할수록 감소하였다(P<0.05). 비태인 급여로 사료 요구율은 현저하게 개선되었지만(P<0.05), 계란의 품질은 차이가 없었다. 혈청 total protein은 비태인 급여로 현저히 증가하였으며 특히 단백질 14 % 급여구에서 크게 증가하였다(P<0.05). 복강지방 함량은 단백질 수준과 비태인 급여에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 가슴육과 간의 조단백질 함량은 사료의 단백질 수준에 따라 증가하였다(P<0.05). 간의 조지방 함량은 비태인의 급여로 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 간의 methionine 함량은 단백질과 비태인 수준에 따라 증가하는 경향을 보였으며 choline 함량은 비태인의 급여에 의해서만 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 따라서 비태인의 급여는 단백질 수준이 높은 조건에서 산란율을 개선시키고 난중을 증가시키며 사료 요구율을 개선한다.록 산가는 증가하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 홍국주의 전자 공여능에 의한 항산화력은 25.6%, 아질산염 소거능은 27.6%, Total phenolic compound 함량은 12.34mg%, ACE저해작용은 38%의 항산화력을 나타냈다.과 $O_2$$CO_2$의 농도에서 평균오차 0.2%로 정밀한 것으로 나타났으며 호흡속도 측정용 챔버의 혼합기체 공급측과 배기측의 가스 농도를 3회 반복 측정한 결과 재현성에서는 0.1%이하의 편차로 나타났다. 개방계 호흡속도 자동 측정 시스템을 이용하여 환경기체조성하에서 토마토의 호흡속도를 측정하는 실측 실험을 수행한 결과 2$0^{\circ}C$에서 12.7~42.1mg$CO_2$/kg.hr였으며 12$^{\circ}C$에서 2.5~8.2mg$CO_2$/kg.hr로 일반적으로 보고되고 있는 토마토 호흡속도와 일치하는 결과를 나타내었다.다.환원당인 sucrose 함량은 계속 증가하였고 fructose, glucose, sorbitol의 함량(추황의 sorbitol을 제외)은 생장이 촉진됨에 따라 증가하다가 다시 점차적으로 감소하였다. 이러한 결과는 총당과 환원당의 측정결과와 일치한 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 배의 성장에 따라 산 함량은 감소하였고 당 함량은 증가하였다.luco-pyranoside, quercetin 7-O- -glucopyranoside, acacetin 7-O-$\beta$-D-glucuronide and apigenin-6-C-$\beta$-D-glucopyranosyl-8-C-$\beta$-D-glucopyranoside were first isolated and identified from safflower leaf.   • In order to obtain the fundamental informations on the protein and amylose content in rice grain, 4 varieties were subjected to the 4 different shortday treatments in 2 kinds temperature. Results can be summarized as follows; 1). By warmer temperature amylose content in the rice dropped by 2 to 3%, but no significant changes in protein content. 2). Short-day treatment caused decreases in amylose content by 2 to 5% and increases in protein content by 2 to 6%. 3). Interactions among varieties, temperature and shortday was significant for both the amylose content and protein content.
