Limited Reception Function based Two-Way Authentication T-DMB System (제한수신 기능을 통한 양방향 인증 T-DMB 시스템)

  • Recently terrestrial mobile multimedia broadcasting(T-DMB) service is being provided throughout the country are expanding and demand is increasing day by day. T-DMB has the advantage of being cheaper in cost than installing another mobile multimedia broadcasting. However, there are a variety data of additional and provide it difficult for localized emergency alert broadcasting services. In this paper, a method to solve this problem feature was designed to restrict incoming unidirectional / bidirectional authentication via T-DMB system. In the mobile device is received by the T-DMB broadcasting service authentication mechanism for re-transmission to the mobile device, and T-DMB receiving other registered users can view it impossible to receive the broadcast. Through the proposed system it is considered to be able to solve the problems of the existing T-DMB technology.

  • 본 논문은 현재 경찰청 및 각 지자체의 주도하에 수도권을 중심으로 새롭게 보급되고 있는 도시 교통 정보 시스템 (UTIS)과 국토해양부 및 한국 도로 공사 등을 중심으로 한 DSRC 기반의 교통 정보 시스템을 모두 활용하는 시스템 및 효율적인 경로탐색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 도시 교통 정보 시스템은 무선랜과 같은 프로토콜을 이용해서, 기존 단방향 방식인 TPEG의 주요 도로 위주의 제한된 교통 정보 단점을 극복하고 많은 지선를 포함한 교통 정보를 제공하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 운전자들이 단지 도심 내에서만 운전하는 것이 아니고 고속도로 등을 통해서 장거리 운전도 하기 때문에 고속도로 상의 DSRC 기반의 서비스도 동일 단말에서 지원해야 하나의 단말에서 다양한 서비스를 지원받을 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문의 두 개의 다른 통신 모듈의 통합된 단말 시스템을 제안하고 기존에 제안된 UTIS 기반의 분산 경로 탐색 방식을 DSRC 기반의 고속도로 교통 정보를 활용해서 새로운 경로탐색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 향후 추가적으로 이루어질 연구와 현재 다른 주체들의 주도로 이루어지는 서비스를 제도적으로 보완할 수 있는 방안도 제시한다.

  • A layered coding scheme is one of the adaptive receiving techniques for unidirectional services such as multimedia broadcasting and multicasting services (MBMS), where we cannot utilize feedback information. The layered coding scheme can be used with hierarchical modulations by combining suitable code rates and modulation orders of each. In addition, it has been reported that hybrid and/or integrated satellite systems can effectively achieve transmit diversity gains by appropriate utilization of space time coding combined with turbo codes. This paper proposes a layered turbo coding schemes for hybrid and/or integrated satellite systems. We first introduce the system architecture and operational principle of the proposed scheme, and discuss the applicability.

  • The wild animal warning post and the echo-bridge on the road are widely used as a popular roadkill prevention system. The warning post shows a one way warning message to drivers and is not effective to prevent animals from being killed. In the case of echo-bridge, the construction cost is very high such that we could not build sufficient number of the echo bridges on the road. Therefore, we have proposed a new roadkill prevention system which is designed and implemented to warn both of drivers and animals. This system is composed with sensor, speaker, web server, and navigation system and the software is designed to use web services on the web under the. Net environment.

  • Password based authentication systems are most widely used for user convenience in web services. However such authentication systems are known to be vulnerable to various attacks such as password guessing attack, dictionary attack and key logging attack. Besides, many of the web systems just provide user authentication in a one-way fashion such that web clients cannot verify the authenticity of the web server to which they set access and give passwords. Therefore, it is too difficult to protect against DNS spoofing, phishing and pharming attacks. To cope with the security threats, web system adopts several enhanced schemes utilizing one time password (OTP) or long and strong passwords including special characters. However there are still practical issues. Users are required to buy OTP devices and strong passwords are less convenient to use. Above all, one-way authentication schemes generate several vulnerabilities. To solve the problems, we propose a multi-channel, multi-factor authentication scheme by utilizing QR-Code. The proposed scheme supports both user and server authentications mutually, thereby protecting against attacks such as phishing and pharming attacks. Also, the proposed scheme makes use of a portable smart device as a OTP generator so that the system is convenient and secure against traditional password attacks.

  • It is the Mobile Ad Hoc Networks that constituted with serveral mobile node that can communicate with other mobile nodes. Until now, there were no routing protocols considering such as Multimediadata, VOD (Video On Demand), which is required of lots of bandwidth in Mobile Ad Hoc Network, io we are in the need of QoS (Quality of Service)routing protocol to transmit the data packets faster and more accurate. Also, there are an unidirectional links due to asymmetric property of mobile terminals or current wireless environments on practical mobile ad hoc networks. However, at present, the existing mobile ad hoc routing protocols are implemented to support only bidirectional links. In this paper, we propose the Advanced Routing routing protocol in order to implement a new routing protocol, which is fit to mobile ad hoc networks containing unidirectional links and to support QoS service. For the performance evaluation, we use NS-2 simulator of U.C. Berkeley. We could get not only increased received data rate and decreased average route discovery time, but also network load decreases with compared Best effort service.

  • Recently, as the importance of user-oriented archives management is becoming increasingly, government archives try to serve interactive services using social network service (SNS) beyond one-way approaches. This study aims to analyze usage of government archives service in social media and examine users' interestedness. We especially select "National Archives of Korea" and "Presidential Archives" as target government archives and collect tweets from 2010 to 15th April 2016. Our study adopts informetric approaches and social media analysis including buzz analysis, time series analysis. We differentiate between the tweet collection posted by government archives themselves and the other collection generated by general users. Furthermore we conduct correlation analysis of tweet and social issues and propose application plan for government archives services in social media environment.

  • As the number of users of smart phone and smart pad are increasing, the deployment of WiFi APs has been accelerated. Also Internet local broadcasting service will be activated near future. But transmission error is the critical problem, due to the one-way transmission of the data to the receivers. In this paper, FER is analysed according to BER and frame length, and repetitive transmission technique is proposed to reduce the effective FER.

  • 최근 들어 핸드폰이나 PDA 등 휴대용 단말기의 보급이 급격히 늘면서 이를 통한 미디어 감상의 수요가 많이 증가하였다. 또한, 멀티미디어 기술의 발전 방향도 기존의 단방향 서비스를 벗어나 사용자의 기호에 따라 스토리를 전개해나가는 인터렉티브 미디어에 이르렀다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 본 연구팀이 기존에 진행했던 연구에 이어서 이러한 인터렉티브 미디어를 지원하기 위한 전체 시스템을 설계하였고 이를 PDA 상에 구현하였다. 이때 비디오 코덱으로는 JVT(H.264)를 사용하였으며 컨텐츠제작을 위한 마크업 언어는 자체 정의한 IML(Interactive Media Language)를 사용하였다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 이러한 구현 과정에서 이동 단말기들이 공통적으로 가지는 취약점인 CPU, 메모리 등의 한계를 극복하기 위한 방안도 살펴보았다.

다시점 비디오 부호화 기술의 표준화 동향

  • 멀티미디어 기술이 빠르게 발전함에 따라 보다 사실감 있는 콘텐츠의 수요가 급증하고 있다. 특히 2차원의 단방향 방송시스템에서 사용자의 요구에 따라 콘텐츠의 내용이 바뀌는 상호작용이 가능한 시스템이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 이러한 기술 중에 다시점 비디오는 여러 대의 카메라로 한 장면을 동시에 촬영한 영상으로, 사용자의 요구에 따라 시청 시점을 자유로이 선택할 수 있는 차세대 방송기술이다. 그러나 데이터의 양이 방대하여 다양한 서비스에 적용이 쉽지 않다. 이에 따라 MPEG(moving picture experts group)과 JVT (joint video team) 그룹은 다시점 비디오 부호화(multi-view video coding)의 국제 표준화 작업을 진행하고 있다. 2001년 12월에 시작하여 2007년 1월 국제회의까지 다시점 비디오 부호화의 요구사항, 부호화 조건, 테스트영상 선정, 세부 기술 제안 및 선정 등 국제 기술의 표준화를 위한 활동이 진행되었다. 그리고 향후 2008년까지 최종 국제 규격안이 제정될 예정이다.
