  • 본 사례는 외환위기 및 대우 그룹 해체로 인해 존폐의 위기에 처했던 대우증권이 선도업체 위상을 탈환하기까지의 재건 과정에서 실행했던 마케팅 전략 및 영업활동을 분석하고 있다. 이를 통해 경영위기를 효과적으로 극복하고 새롭게 도약하기 위해 활용 가능한 마케팅 및 영업 전략의 일례를 소개하고자 한다. 끝으로 대우증권의 향후 마케팅 과제와 관련된 토의 주제가 제시된다. 국내 증권업계 선두주자였던 대우증권은 1999년 '대우 사태'로 인해 한때 업계 5위까지 추락하고 1조 2,000억원의 적자를 기록하였으며 신용등급은 투자부적격 단계인 CCC+까지 하락하는 등 위기를 맞이하게 되었다. 대우증권이 회생과 재도약을 위해 채택한 마케팅 전략은 '선택과 집중'이었다. 즉, 최대 수익원이자 경쟁력이 있는 사업 분야인 위탁매매(brokerage)에 역량을 우선 집중하여 안정적으로 수익 기반을 다진 뒤 이를 바탕으로 IB(Investment Bank)와 자산 관리(Wealth Management) 등 여타 분야에서의 역량도 점진적으로 강화하는 전략이다. 전략의 실행 방향은 높은 효율성 확보 및 자원의 확충을 통해 시장 지배력과 수익성을 창출하는 것이었다. 전략적 공감대, 오프라인 영업 강화, 현장 및 고객 중시를 위한 기업 자원의 확충 배치를 바탕으로 영업 프로세스, 영업 인프라, 영업 관리, 고객 서비스, 영업 문화의 혁신을 실행한 결과, 대우증권은 증권명가의 옛 명성과 위치를 성공적으로 탈환하게 되었다. 대우증권은 2004년 위탁매매 영업 부문에서 1위 위상을 되찾은 이래 전 사업 분야에서 성장을 지속하였다. 2006년 증권업종 시가총액 1위를 회복하는 등 각종 경영지표는 큰 폭으로 개선되었고, 신용등급은 AA-로 상향 조정되었다. 나아가 자본시장통합법 시대에 걸맞는 선도 글로벌 투자은행으로서 진화한다는 계획을 추진하고 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore applicability of teaching-learning methods for creative problem solving which was designed to improve students' creative thinking and problem solving competencies. Methodology is literature review and focus group interview. The students who attended the elective course 'creative women and science' was participated during 15 weeks. Through this teaching-learning methods, students were fully aware of learning methods for creative problem solving, sought for problems, clarified problems, found solutions through discussions, and continuously examined ideas by receiving feedbacks. They could deduce creative new solutions to solve encountered problems regarding team dynamics and apply it in real situation. As the results of applying teaching-learning methods for creative problem solving to a course in University, it had the advantages of enhancing students' competencies in analyzing problems and applying derived solutions in actual field.

Preparation and Oxygen Permeability of True-IPN's based on Silicone Rubber and Polystyrene (실리콘 고무와 폴리스틸렌을 이용한 True-IPNs의 제조 및 산소투과 특성)

  • The true-lPN's based on silicone rubber(SR)rrubbery polymer) and polystyrenc(PS)(glass polymer) were prepared by using the sequential IP!\' method_ The characteristic of permeability of oxygen/nitrogen was investigated with the control of the amount of PSOO-70 wt%) in the true-lPN, As a results of fTlR and N1Vm. the SRIPS membrane was synthesised successfully with the IPN synthetic method, Thermal analysis resulls indicated that the degree of mixing of IPN increased with increase of the amount of PS in the IPN. Regarding the characteristic of gas permeability, the membrane showed a trend of decrease in oxygen permeability as the PS content increased, The oxygen permeability of membrane having 50 wt% of PS. however, increased momentarily, Selectivity, meanwhile, increased slightly as the contents of I'S increased. However, the maximum value of oxygen selectivity, which is 20.6% enhanced Value, was obtained with the membrane containing 50 wt% of PS. This can be explained that the behavior of lPN, i.e. mutual assistance, is pronounced in the membrane having 50 wt% of PS.

  • In this study, steel deck bridges are chosen as analytic model to show the structural behaviors generated by high temperature of pavement and to formulate the simplified approximate analysis of thermal effects. In general, the thermal effect is changed by the material property of pavements and environmental temperature as well as shape, size and boundary conditions of bridge. Specially, this effect is the representative initial stress problem dependent on time. The thermal effect, however, does not depend on time and thermal effect is regarded as initial load in this study. After these thermal loading is modelled as moving loads, influence lines of reactions of shoes are calculated and the successive pavement steps with arbitrary segments are determined to minimize the thermal effect of shoes by influence line.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the internet addiction tendency of University students. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 354 students in the G city from March 15 to May 22, 2017. The data were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 12.0 program. Factors affecting the internet addiction tendency were using time of internet, consciousness of information ethics(soundness to internet use), self-control(p<0.05). Accordingly, it is necessary to develop mediator program in order to preventive internet addiction to enhance of consciousness of information ethics and control using time of internet and self-control.

Threshold estimation for the composite lognormal-GPD models (로그-정규분포와 파레토 합성 분포의 임계점 추정)

  • The composite lognormal-GPD models (LN-GPD) enjoys both merits from log-normality for the body of distribution and GPD for the thick tailedness of the observation. However, in the estimation perspective, LN-GPD model performs poorly due to numerical instability. Therefore, a two-stage procedure, that estimates threshold first then estimates other parameters later, is a natural method to consider. This paper considers five nonparametric threshold estimation methods widely used in extreme value theory and compares their performance in LN-GPD parameter estimation. A simulation study reveals that simultaneous maximum likelihood estimation performs good in threshold estimation, but very poor in tail index estimation. However, the nonparametric method performs good in tail index estimation, but introduced bias in threshold estimation. Our method is illustrated to the service time of an Israel bank call center and shows that the LN-GPD model fits better than LN or GPD model alone.

Control of Gas Direction in Gas Assisted Injection Molding (가스사출시 가스흐름방향의 예측 및 제어)

  • An improved method to predict preferred direction of gas in gas assisted injection molding processes is introduced. Resistance of resin flow is defined and this resistance of resin flow is not directly related to the resistance of gas flow. Pressure drop requirement was believed to be proportional to the resistance to gas flow in our previous work. Instead of using the pressure drop requirement, velocity of resin should be compared to predict the gas flow direction. This method predicts the gas flow direction from the knowledge of process variables such as resin flow length, cross section area of cavity, melt temperature, and short shot. A simulation package was used to confirm the method.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy measure and integral-based model fnr interactive systems is proposed. The processes of model identification consists of the following three steps : (i) structure identification (ii) parameter identification and (iii) selection of an optimal model. An algorithm for the model structure identification using the well-known genetic algorithm ((;A) with a modified selection operator is proposed. A method for the identification of par;imetcrs corresponding to fuzzy measures is presented. A statistical model selection criterion is used for the selection of an optimal model among the candidates. Finally, experimental results obtained hy applying the proposed model to the subjective evaluation data set and the well-known time series data are presented to show the validity of the proposed model.

Selective Dissolution of ZnO Crystal by a Two-step Thermal Aging in Aqueous Solution (수용액 합성법의 2단계 성장온도 변화를 통한 ZnO 결정의 선택적 용해 현상)

  • ZnO hexagonal rods grown in aqueous solution can be changed into a tubular shape by two-step aging in the course of the growing process. In the first step, hexagonal ZnO rods is grown by aging at $90^{\circ}C$ under a highly supersaturated aqueous solution giving rise to a fast precipitation rate. Meanwhile, during the second step aging at $60^{\circ}C$ in the same aqueous solution, the hexagonal polar face (001) having higher surface energy than (010) side planes dissolves to minimize surface energy. Hence the flat (001) face changes to a craterlike face and the hexagonal rod length of ZnO decreases at an initial-stage of this step aging. The formation of the (101) wedge-type faces is ascribed to the resultant of competitive reactions between the dissolution of polar face minimizing the surface energy which is a dominant reaction at the initial stage and the precipitation reaction dissipating supersaturation. At a later stage of the second-step the reaction rates of these two processes in the aqueous solution become similar and the overall reaction is terminated.

  • We synthesized $TiO_2$ ($Ru_x/TiO_2$) incorporating $TiO_2$ and Ru via an one-step hydrothermal method. The physical properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The prepared samples were applied as a catalyst for the oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde using molecular oxygen ($O_2$). Especially, the catalytic activities increased as the contents of ruthenium in $TiO_2$ increased without the formation of any byproducts.
