Study on the Design of Asymmetric Lighting with Uniform Illumination Over a Large Area at Short Distance (단거리 조사 시 넓은 면적에 균일한 조명도를 가지는 비대칭 조명 광학계 설계 연구)

  • In this paper, the illuminating optics of asymmetric light distribution was studied, which allowed the light distribution to be uniform even for short-range irradiation on a wide illumination area. In the case of a light installed at a short distance, the light is not diffused enough because of the short irradiation distance. For this reason, it is difficult to satisfy uniformity of illumination. In addition, lighting design for asymmetric distribution is required because the lighting device is installed tilted, for visibility. Therefore, the design of lighting systems with asymmetric light distribution could achieve uniform illumination of the target surface even under short-distance irradiation. This was then applied to the license lamp, a lighting system featuring short light irradiation distance, to confirm that it satisfies the legal standards.

  • The method of enhancing visibility in optical fiber sensor was investigated by improving coherence length of light source. The optical feedback technique is used to enhance coherence length in fiber laser which generates laser in near infrared wavelength region and utilizes low loss characteristics of optical communication grade fiber. In this paper, the effect to coherence length by short and long optical feedback paths are investigated by using Mach-Zehnder interferometer technique. The effect to coherence length by changing optical feedback power and optical modulation are investigated. The spectral drift was calculated by measuring the degree of phase perturbation in unbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometer having loom path difference. The short optical feedback path was effective to reduce spectral drift to 450kHz/sec and the long optical feedback path in combination with short optical feedback path was found to further reduce spectral drift to 50kHz/sec.

  • 교환바이어스(exchange bias)현상은 강자성과 반강자성의 접합계면에서 강한 상호 교환결합력에 의해 발생하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이 현상은 1956년 Meiklejohn과 Bean에 의해 CoO층으로 둘러싸인 Co 입자에서 발견된 이후[l], 강자성과 반강자성의 접합계면을 가지는 다층박막에서의 교환바이어스에 대한 연구가 진행되어왔다[2-6]. 이는 강자성/반강자성 박막의 교환바이어스 특성을 이용하여, 강자성 박막의 스핀방향을 고정시킬 수 있기 때문이다. 이러한 교환바이어스 특성은 하드드라이브의 고밀도 자기헤드소자 및 비휘발성 자기메모리소자에 응용되어지는 등 경제적 가치를 갖는 기술적인 면과 교환바이어스라는 자기특성의 학문적인 가치로 인해 이 분야에 대한 집중적인 투자와 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 최근에는 교환바이어스 현상의 원인과 형성기구에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 강자성과 반강자성 박막의 단거리 상호 교환결합력에 의한 교환바이어스 현상은, 계면의 원자구조, 자기구조 및 각자성층의 여러 가지 인자들에 대해서 지속적으로 연구되고 있다.

  • The objective of this paper is to estimate the DMT utility function for the transportation mode choice using SP survey. With the freight OD data the estimated utility function can be used as a basic data for forecasting DMT market. 3 alternatives of transportation mode are considered in SP survey; railway, road and DMT. The utility functions are developed according to the freight items, which are container, steel and chemical product. In this study the attribute variable are chosen as time, cost and reliability. The number of level for attribute variables are 3. The high valve is determined as +10% above the standard and the low value -20% below the standard.

A Bike Mode Share Estimation Model and Analysis of the Bike Demand Factor Effects (자전거 수단분담률 추정모형 구축 및 자전거 수요요인분석)

  • As the green transportation mode, revitalization of bike usage attracts remarkable public attention. For the acquirement of effective outcome, however, the concrete and close analysis about bike utilization characteristics should be arranged first. One result by MLTM(2009) is support this opinion; the bike mode share has been decreased whereas 9,170km of the bicycle path was improved(1995~2007). This study analyzed the bike mode share classified by trip types by using the 303,308 data of Household Travel Survey of Seoul Metropolitan Area, 2006. The highest mode share rate was induced by the institute attendee and Officetel resident as 3.75% and 3.13%, respectively. Also this study established the bike mode share estimation model of Seoul by logistic regression, and analyzed related factors and level of effectiveness related bike demand by calculation of odds ratio in terms of logistic regression coefficients. In conclusion, short trips, institutes district, parks, and Officetel residential area oriented policy should be effective on the revitalization of bike usage.

A study on increasing KTX operation efficiency of long-distant transportation methods in Korea (고속철도 운영효율성 분석)

  • Last 1970's Korea opened the Kyoung-bu highways from Seoul to Pusan, and Korea government had change the transportation policy to focusing on the road and motors. but 1990's Korea had been the heavily traffic jam in long distant transportation system and logistics. That's why Korea government studied on feasibility survey of High-speed train. As the KTX opens, traffic networks covering large areas In Kyeongbu-line (Seoul- Daejeon- Busan) are expected to raise synergy effects in economics as well as in korean culture respects. Having been playing an important transportation role in Korea for the last 106 years. With opening of the high speed railway, KORAIL in inevitable to make a drastic reform. To achieve this purpose, it is necessary that KORAIL has to be small and effective streamlined organization. In should increase traffic capacity by improving infra facilities. It need to also expand its internal functions by connecting the KTX with the conventional railroad system.

A study of the Infantry Backpack System for Portability and Mobility Performance (보병용 배낭의 휴대 및 이동 성능에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to weight analysis portable backpack system of infantry weapon systems for ergonomic design in manual materials handling tasks. For the product design, we analyzed the ergonomic guidelines and status of similar weapon systems by comparing the efficient operation performance provide for the basic data. Result of this study, the relationship between portability and mobility presented for schematic. In the short distance of the short biomechanical criterion, 1-2 hours in the middle of moving psychophysical criterion, 4 hour or more long-distance criterion applied for the physiological criterion for easy of trade-offs that need to be considered. This study suggests for 4 research items for infantry backpack system in manual materials handling tasks. Throughout the result of anthropometric populations, the 5%tile body weight for -0.91kg but 95%tile in 34.17kg considered to be margin for free, easy and efficient operation for the weight margin between portability and mobility in manual materials handling tasks.

The Urbanization and Migration in the Period of the Japanese Occupation (일제 강점기 도시화와 인구이동: 1930년 부(府)와 지정면(指定面) 지역을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the urbanization process and identify the Origin-Destination(O-D) of migration in the period of the Japanese occupation, based on the census data about Bu and Jijung-myeon. For this, the study analysed the types and the location of the immigrants' origin(birthplace) whose headed for an urban area. In 1930, as the destinations in the inter-regional migration, the urban areas could be divided into three categories according to the distance: long-, medium- and short-distance. The new urban areas which developed for effective colonial rule by Japanese pulled the long distance immigrant across the Korean Peninsula, and the Chosun Dynasty's traditional cities had the inflow of population from the near and hinterland. All in all, it is proposed that the dual settlement systems of colonial and traditional structures, is the key to understand the Korean urbanization processes basedd on the inter-regional migration during Japanese colonial period.
