In this study, to measure the density and moisture of compaction, it is designed to use the 2 neutron and 5 gamma-ray detectors. Also, it can be know that Co-60 gamma-ray and Cf-252 neutron source are more useful for this system, because discharge of radiation are better than other sources. They are more profitable to improve their accuracy. Especially, to remove the interference of their reciprocal action between neutron and gamma-ray detectors it is designed shield materials with lead between 2 neutron and 5 gamma-ray detectors each other. It is performed the optimal design to shield under the suggested values completely. Because this system will use portable, so decrease of their weight are so important. For this reason, it can be decrease their weight of 5.2[kg] with shield material between each detectors and it can be think mote easy to carry and use on the industrial Spot.

Recently it is being increased rapidly to install magnetic marker and RFID tag on the underground utility lines before backfilling to ensure effective it's management. However, due to changes an attitude and damages of sensors. By pressure and vibration during soil compacting, detecting rate is significantly reduced as well as it allows to use only one line of various pipes since it has an unique frequency. Also it is required too long time to reach to target point with an non-accurate navigational GPS receiver and hard to update existing data base with a manual input of new data in the field. To improve these problems, the researcher developed the field management system that apply with ball typed self-levelling marker which is free from the changes of attitude for sensors during compaction as well as has various radio frequency applicable to many kind of pipes and ensure fast positioning to target point using an incorporated system with PDA based DGPS receiver which allows loading a field GIS software and RFID detector. Further, it provides with viewing all of RFID data on the DGPS receiver screen directly and also input new data to existing data base in the field automatically.

Ministry of construction & transportation is operating for the soil and rock information system and is considered to accurate application of soil conversion factor that is essentially necessary for accurate calculation of earth volume. Since the balance of cutting earth in public work, the plan of spoil bank or borrow pit are directly related to construction costs, accurate calculation of earth volume and efficient scheme of haul are important. As such, this study has provided methods that can acquire information that is more rapid, applicable to job sites, and trustworthy by comparing resultant values of photogrammetry, laser scanning, or inside job site experimentations, and calculated soil conversion factor by applying photogrammetry and laser scanning methods for hard rock that has difficulty in calculating soil conversion factor. The study can provide alternatives that can resolve the problems of unbalanced earth volume that may arise in applying to plans the earth conversion factor that relies on planning books and experience without considering the characteristics of job site earth, and can establish its relevancy by calculating soil conversion factor for hard rock that has relative difficulties in doing inside or job site testing.
This quasi-experimental study examined the experience of simulation clothes and its effects among undergraduate nursing students. Method: The experimental group consisted of 44 sophomore students in a diploma nursing program, while 41 students comprised the comparison group. Only the experimental group experienced the functional decline of aging after taking on simulation clothes. Homogeneity between the groups was analyzed using t-test, and Fisher's exact test. Paired t-test and t-test were adopted for testing changes of attitudes and awareness of supporting elders. In addition, contents of students' reports of the aging simulation experience were analyzed. Results: No significant quantitative effect was observed in attitudes toward elders and awareness of supporting elders. However, the simulation experience seemed to have enhanced students' understanding of elders and of basic elder care as well. Furthermore, the students could think of preparing for their later lives. Conclusion: The experience of simulation clothes is a meaningful learning opportunity in gerontological nursing curriculum. Students' experiences need to be shared and reinforced in a discussion session. Safety should be secured in the process of the experience. The simulation experience can be further developed to raise its quality.
Purpose: Considering the rising frequency of earthquakes in Korea, it is crucial to revise the rainfall thresholds for landslide triggering following earthquake events. This study was conducted to provide scientific justification and preliminary data for adjusting rainfall thresholds for landslide early warnings after earthquakes through soil physical experiments. Method: The study analyzed the change in soil shear strength by direct shear tests on disturbed and undisturbed samples collected from cut slopes. Also, The study analyzed the soil strength parameters of remolded soil samples subjected to drying and wetting conditions, focusing on the relationship between the degree of saturation after submergence and the strength parameters. Result: Compaction water content variation in direct shear tests showed that higher water content and saturation in disturbed samples led to a significant decrease in cohesion (over 50%) and a reduction in shear resistance angle (1~2°). Additionally, during the ring shear tests, the shear strength was observed to gradually decrease once water was supplied to the shear plane. The maximum shear strength decreased by approximately 65-75%, while the residual shear strength decreased by approximately 53-60%. Conclusion: Seismic activity amplifies landslide risk during subsequent rainfall, necessitating proactive mitigation strategies in earthquake-prone areas. This research is anticipated to provide scientific justification and preliminary data for reducing the rainfall threshold for landslide initiation in earthquake-susceptible regions.

A number of studies have been conducted recently regarding the development of automation systems for the construction sector. Much of this attention has focused on earthwork because it is highly dependent on construction machines and is regarded as being basic for the construction of buildings and civil works. For example, technologies are being developed in order to enable earthwork planning based on construction site models that are constructed by automatic systems and to enable construction equipment to perform the work based on the plan and the environment. There are many problems that need to be solved in order to enable the use of automatic earthwork systems in construction sites. For example, technologies are needed for enabling collaborations between similar and different kinds of construction equipment. This study aims to develop a construction system that imitates collaborative systems and decision-making methods that are used by humans. The proposed system relies on the multi-agent concept from the field of artificial intelligence. In order to develop a multi-agent-based system, configurations and functions are proposed for the agents and a framework for collaboration and arbitration between agents is presented. Furthermore, methods are introduced for preventing duplicate work and minimizing interference effects during the collaboration process. Methods are also presented for performing advance planning for the excavators and compactors that are involved in the construction. The current study suggests a theoretical framework and evaluates the results using virtual simulations. However, in the future, an empirical study will be conducted in order to apply these concepts to actual construction sites through the development of a physical system.

Recently, the government is taking new approaches to change the fact that the accident rate and accident death rate of the construction industry account for a high percentage of the whole industry. Especially, it is investing heavily in the development of construction technology that is fused with ICT technology in line with the current trend of the 4th Industrial Revolution. In order to cope with this situation, this paper proposed a concept to recognize and share the work situation information between the construction machine driver and the surrounding worker to enhance the safety in the place where construction machines are operated. In order to realize the part of the concept, we applied image processing technology using camera based on artificial intelligence to earth-moving work. Especially, we implemented an algorithm that can recognize the surrounding worker's circumstance and identify the risk situation through the experiment using the compaction equipment. and image processing algorithm based on YOLO-v3. This algorithm processes 15.06 frames per second in video and can recognize danger situation around construction machine with accuracy of 90.48%. We will contribute to the prevention of safety accidents at the construction site by utilizing this technology in the future.

These days, almost every industry's production line has become automatic and this phenomenon brought a lot of benefits such as increase in productivity and economical effect, assurance in industrial safety, better quality and compatibility. However, unlike industrial production line, in construction industry, automation has number of barriers like uncertainty incidents and intellectual judgment to make ability to make solution out of it. Therefore construction industry is still demanding use of construction machine through labor. Due to this matter operational labor in construction industry is aging and fading. To solve these problem, in developed nations like Europe, US or Japan are keep researching for the automation in construction and road pavement, strengthening and some other simple operations have been worked through automation but in civil engineering site, automation research is still low despite of its importance in constructional site. For automating civil engineering operation, effective operational plan have to be set by analyzing ground information acquainted. If skillful worker apply heuristics, trial & error can be reduced with increased safety and the effective work plan can be established. Hence, this research will introduce Intellectual Task Planning System for Intelligent Excavating System's effective work plan and heuristics applied in each steps.

This study examines the status quo of Korean archives and records management from the Governmental as well as professional activities for the development of the field in relation to the new legislation on records management. Among many concerns, this study primarily explores the following four perspectives: 1) the Government Archives and Records Services; 2) the Korean Association of Archives; 3) the Korean Society of Archives and Records Management; 4) the Journal of Korean Society of Archives and Records Management. One of the primary tasks of the is to build the special depository within which the Presidential Library should be located. As a result, the position of the GARS can be elevated and directed by an official at the level of vice-minister right under a president as a governmental representative of managing the public records. In this manner, GARS can sustain its independency and take custody of public records across government agencies. made efforts in regard to the preservation of paper records, the preservation of digital resources in new media formats, facilities and equipments, education of archivists and continuing, training of practitioners, and policy-making of records preservation. For further development, academia and corporate should cooperate continuously to face with the current problems. has held three international conferences to date. The topics of conferences include respectively: 1) records management and archival education of Korea, Japan, and China; 2) knowledge management and metadata for the fulfillment of archives and information science; and 3) electronic records management and preservation with the understanding of ongoing archival research in the States, Europe, and Asia. The Society continues to play a leading role in both of theory and practice for the development of archival science in Korea. It should also suggest an educational model of archival curricula that fits into the Korean context. The Journals of Records Management & Archives Society of Korea have been published on the six major topics to date. Findings suggest that "Special Archives" on regional or topical collections are desirable because it can house subject holdings on specialty or particular figures in that region. In addition, archival education at the undergraduate level is more desirable for Korean situations where practitioners are strongly needed and professionals with master degrees go to manager positions. Departments of Library and Information Science in universities, therefore, are needed to open archival science major or track at the undergraduate level in order to meet current market demands. The qualification of professional archivists should be moderate as well.
