Dynamic 3D Worker Pose Registration for Safety Monitoring in Manufacturing Environment based on Multi-domain Vision System (다중 도메인 비전 시스템 기반 제조 환경 안전 모니터링을 위한 동적 3D 작업자 자세 정합 기법)

  • A single vision system limits the ability to accurately understand the spatial constraints and interactions between robots and dynamic workers caused by gantry robots and collaborative robots during production manufacturing. In this paper, we propose a 3D pose registration method for dynamic workers based on a multi-domain vision system for safety monitoring in manufacturing environments. This method uses OpenPose, a deep learning-based posture estimation model, to estimate the worker's dynamic two-dimensional posture in real-time and reconstruct it into three-dimensional coordinates. The 3D coordinates of the reconstructed multi-domain vision system were aligned using the ICP algorithm and then registered to a single 3D coordinate system. The proposed method showed effective performance in a manufacturing process environment with an average registration error of 0.0664 m and an average frame rate of 14.597 per second.

  • Determining the number of operators who set up the machines in a human-machine system is crucial for maximizing the benefits of automated production machines. A man-machine chart is an effective tool for identifying bottlenecks, improving process efficiency, and determining the optimal number of machines per operator. However, traditional man-machine charts are lacking in accounting for idle times, such as interruptions caused by other material handling equipment. We present an adjusted man-machine chart that determines the number of machines per operator, incorporating idleness as a penalty term. The adjusted man-machine chart efficiently deploys and schedules operators for the hole machining process to enhance productivity, where operators have various idle times, such as break times and waiting times by forklifts or trailers. Further, we conduct a simulation validation of traditional and proposed charts under various operational environments of operators' fixed and flexible break times. The simulation results indicate that the adjusted man-machine chart is better suited for real-world work environments and significantly improves productivity.

Design and Implementation of an Agent-based Continuous Double Auction System (에이전트 기반의 연속다중경매 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • Most of current internet auction systems are single auction server program that partly automates the function of the conventional auction house. So these systems do not provide sufficient independence, distribution and parallelism between the functions of the conventional auction house. In these suction systems, only some of suction management facilities are automated by the server program, but still users need to execute a repetitive task to monitor the dynamic progress of a certain auction, decide the proper bid price, and submit the bid. Another problem is that they support only the single auctions such as English suction and Dutch auction, but they do not support the double auctions that are superior to the single auction in terms of speed, efficiency, and the fair distribution of profit. In this paper, we present are design and implement of an agent-based continuous double auction system, called CoDABot, in order to overcome the limitations of current auction systems. CoDABot supports the continuous double auction, provides various bidding agents for users to select, and has been implemented with a multi-agent system to realize more independent, and parallel subsystems.

Identification of Combinatorial Factors Affecting Fatal Accidents in Small Construction Sites: Association Rule Analysis (연관규칙 기반 소규모 건설현장 사망재해 다중요인 분석)

  • The construction industry is suffering from a large number of fatal accidents. As many field works are being conducted in a dangerous condition such as working at height and adverse weather, they are always exposed to safety accidents with high frequency and severity compared to other industries. Such risk is even larger in small construction sites, but studies that focus on combinatorial factors leading to fatal accidents in small construction sites are lacking. Thus, in order to reduce the fatal accidents in the construction industry, this study analyzed 1,438 occupational death accidents cases in small construction sites and, then, conducted the association rule analysis to extract ten combinatorial factors that frequently led to fatal accidents in small construction sites. Based on the extracted association rules, this study also discussed possible countermeasures to reduce the fatal accidents. The results were explained to experts, who agreed on the results of the study. This study contributes to the construction safety management theory by providing a detailed analysis of fatal accidents in small construction sites that can be used for developing and deploying safety policies and educations for small construction site workers.

Exploring the effects of pre-service teachers' educational service continuity: Focusing on self-efficacy, pro-sociality, and work preference (예비교사들의 교육봉사지속성에 미치는 영향 탐색: 자아효능감, 친사회성, 작업선호도를 중심으로)

  • Purpose: This study is a descriptive research study to identifying the factors affecting the continuity of educational service of pre-service teachers. Methods: The data collection period was from March 1 to 30, 2023. Self-efficacy, pro-sociality, work preference, and continuity of educational service were investigated for 90 pre-service teachers at two universities in G Metropolitan City. For the analysis of the collected data, IBM SPSS/Win 26.0 was used, and descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis were performed. RESULTS: As a result of the study, it was found that there was a difference in educational service continuity according to age and major (p<.05). As a result of examining the correlations among work preference, self-efficacy, pro-sociality, and educational service continuity, all four variables had positive correlations (p<.05). As a result of multiple regression analysis to find out which variables had an effect on the continuity of educational service, extrinsic motivation and pro-sociality showed significant results, and the explanatory power of the two variables to explain the continuity of educational service was 57.4%. Discussion: Based on the results of this study, it is thought that it is necessary to develop and apply various programs that can strengthen extrinsic motivation and pro-sociality in order to increase the continuity of educational service.

  • EJB는 Sun사에서 발표한 분산 객체 구조에 맞는 서버쪽 컴포넌트 아키텍처이다. EJB를 사용하면 다중 네트워크 환경에서 애플리케이션의 디자인과 개발, 배포가 쉬워진다. 개발자는 하부 사항에 대해 신경쓰지 않고 상위 레벨에서 애플리케이션을 설계할 수 있다. EJB 1.1 명세서는 그러한 내용을 나타내고 있는 명세서이다. 하지만 이 명세에서는 멀티 스레드를 허용하지 않는다. 멀티 스레드는 프로그래밍에서 상당히 유용한 것으로 멀티 스레드를 사용하면 다른 오브젝트에 영향을 주지 않으면서 작업을 수행할 수 있는 등 여러 가지 이점이 많다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 이점을 살려서 명세서에 따르면서 멀티 스레드를 생성하는 방법에 대해 알아보고자 한다 본 논문에서 제시하는 방법은 클라이언트 쪽에서 멀티 스레딩을 생성하는 방법, 콜백 서비스를 이용하는 방법, 메세징 서비스를 이용하는 방법 3가지이고 각각에는 장단점이 따른다. 따라서 실제 구현 시에는 각자의 요구 사항에 맞춰 알맞은 방법을 찾아야 한다.

  • In this study, we have propose an english, math education program to the children of elementary school and Single Display Groupware (SDG) technique was applied to implement the program. By SDG-based program, learners will be performed at the same time learning cooperatively. Finally, we have implement a prototype of SDG system and take a usability test with elementary school children.

  • 본 논문은 진공을 이용한 흡착방식과 바퀴형 이동방식을 이용하고 환경 탐지용 센서를 부착한 벽면 이동형 로봇의 구현에 관한 연구로서, 대형 구조물의 안전 검사 및 위험한 시설물의 보수 작업등을 보조하기 위한 목적이 있다. 로봇의 무게에 따른 중력을 견딜 수 있도록 강력한 진공흡착방식을 고안하여 다양한 벽면재질에도 견딜 수 있도록 설계하였으며, 바퀴형 이동방식을 택하여 높은 이동성과 제어 능력을 고려하였다. 또한 환경 감지를 위한 센서와 카메라를 부착하여 시각정보 등 유용한 정보를 관리자와 통신을 통해 교환할 수 있도록 하여 지능능력과 활용성을 갖추었다.

  • 현재 인터넷 아키텍처가 가지고 있는 가장 큰 문제는 routing과 addressing의 핵심으로 사용되는 IP 주소의 의미의 중복 (overloading semantics)이다. 즉 IP 주소는 라우팅을 위한 정보 (how), 단말의 위치 정보 (where), 그리고 이 외에 전송 계층 상위에서 사용되는 단말의 식별자 정보(who)로 사용되며, 이 의미 중복은 결국 global routing의 scalability문제를 발생시키게 된다. 즉 이러한 IP 주소의 의미 중복을 분리한다면 멀티호밍, Traffic engineering, 그리고 renumbering 등을 scalability에 영향을 주지 않고 이것들을 지원할 수 있게 되는 것이다. IETF는 이러한 라우팅과 어드레싱의 확장성 문제를 해결하기 위하여 68차 IETF 회의에서 ROAP (ROuing and Addressing Problem) BoF (Birds of a Feather) 회의를 공식적으로 개최 하였으며, 이를 통해 결정된 사항은 새로운 인터넷 아키텍처를 설계하기 위해 식별자(Identifier)와 위치정보(locator)를 분리하는 구조(ID/Loc 분리) 또는 다중 계층의 위치정보 획득이 가능한 구조(Multi-level locator design)로의 새로운 아키텍처를 만드는 것이다. 이 작업은 ROPA BoF회의 이후 IRTF의 RRG (Routing Research Group)에서 계속적으로 진행되고 있으며, 현재 관련 많은 솔루션들이 나온 상황이다. 본 논문은 이러한 ROAP에 관한 기본적인 설명과 함께, 문제점 그리고 논의되고 있는 솔루션들의 분류, 목적, 그리고 공통 이슈들에 대한 최근 동향을 설명한다.
