  • 직렬연결형 다중레벨 컨버터(cascade multilevel converter)는 각기 절연된 DC전압원과 H-bridge 인버터가 한 단위를 이루고, 각 단위 인버터의 출력을 직렬 연결한 구조로서, 부하(전동기)에 정현파에 가까운 전압을 인가할 수 있는 시스템이다 각 H-bridge인버터의 DC전압원으로는 배터리 또는 커패시터등이 사용되는데, 일반적인 경우 각 H-bridge 컨버터의 입출력 파워가 틀려지게 되며, 따라서 DC전압간 불균형이 발생하게 된다. DC전압간 불균형이 발생하면 원하는 전압벡터를 정확하게 발생시킬 수 없게 되고, 고조파 하모닉이 만들어질뿐 아니라, 경우에 따라서는 DC전압원측에과 전압 또는 저전압 폴트가 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문은 N개의 H-bridge 인버터의 DC전압을 측정하지 않고, 전체 상출력 전압만을 측정하여 각 DC전압을 추정하고, 스위칭 패턴을 변경하여 DC전압을 평형화하는 방법을 제안한다. 모의실험을 통해서 알고리즘의 동작여부를 검증하였다.

A Study on the Magnetic Field Improvement for 13.56MHz RFID Reader Antenna (13.56MHz RFID 리더 안테나의 자계 필드 개선에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we suggested a new antenna structure for the RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) reader. The conventional RFID reader uses a loop antenna. The central area of a loop antenna shows a low magnetic field strength, especially for the case of a large loop antenna diameter. We proposed a parallel-fed multiple loop antenna. Simulation and measurement were carried out for a single loop antenna, series-fed and parallel-fed multiple loop antennas. Simulation results show that we can obtain 0.40A/m, 0.68A/m, 1.98A/m of magnetic field strengths at the central point of a reader antenna for a single loop antenna, series-fed and parallel-fed multiple loop antennas, respectively. We measured the $79mm{\time}48mm$ tag area averaged induced voltages with applying 20Vp-p same source signals to reader antennas through the resistors. Measured tag area averaged induced voltages at the central point of a reader antennas were 0.76V, 1.45V, 4.04V for a single loop antenna series-fed and parallel-fed multiple loop antennas, respectively. The results show that we can get high induced voltage which can grantee a longer reading distance with a proposed parallel-fed multiple loop antenna.

  • The up-to-date high-performance DSP or FPGA employs SRIO(Serial Rapid IO) as a high-speed serial communications. SRIO is an industry standard regulated upto Ver 3.1. In this study we developed a backplane having a transmission rate to 15Gbps based on a TI DSP. The back plane icould be used to High-speed video transmission, and will be adopted to connecting multiple DSPs for scalable architecture. This paper will discuss the design constraints for a high-speed communication and multiple-core operation.

A New Concatenation Scheme of Serial Concatenated Convolutional Codes (직렬연접 길쌈부호의 새로운 연접방법)

  • In this paper, a new concatenation scheme of serial concatenated convolutional codes is proposed and the performance analyzed. In the proposed scheme, each of information and parity bits of outer code is entered into inner code through interleaver and deinterleaver. Therefore, the interleaver size is same as the length of input frame. Since the interleaver size of proposed type is reduced to half of the conventional Benedetto type, the interleaver delay time required for iterative decoding is reduced. In addition the multiplexer and demultiplexer are not used in the decoder of the proposed type, the complexity of decoder can be also reduced. As results of simulation, the performance of proposed type shows the better error performance as compared to that of the conventional Benedetto type in case of the same interleaver size. And it can be observed that the difference of BER performance is increased with the increase of Eb/No. In case of the same length of input frame, the proposed type shows almost same performance with Benedetto type despite that the interleaver size is reduced by half.

  • This paper proposes the groupwise serial cross interference cancellation(GSCIC) algorithm for coherent detection and analyzes the groupwise serial block interference cancellation(GSBIC) and GSCIC algorithm for an asynchronous wideband DS-CDMA system in a single cell over multipath fading channels. In general, the GSIC algorithm can be grouped into two classes: i.e., GSBIC and GSCIC algorithm. In this paper, the proposed GSCIC algorithm is to improve the performance of the GSBIC algorithm. We compare the performance of the GSCIC and existing GSBIC algorithm in a multipath fading channel to that of the existing SIC algorithm. As a result, the performance of GSCIC algorithm is somewhat better compared with the GSBIC algorithm according to reduction factor $R_{f}$ and is similar to that of the SIC algorithm. And also, the GSBIC and GSCIC algorithms have the advantage that it can be analyzed system performance easily, changing the number of users within a user group according to system capacity.

  • Organizational members' innovative behavior is a key element that promotes organizational growth and sustainability. With today's unstable environment of economic and market , the importance of employees' innovative behavior is being emphasized. The reason is that employees' innovative behaviors play an important role in securing a organizational competitiveness. Based on this, this study focused on ways to improve employees' innovation behavior. Specifically, the causal relationship between participatory leadership and employees' innovative behavior was identified and the influence of innovative behavior was also verified. Furthermore, in the process of participatory leadership influencing employees' innovative behavior, the serial multiple mediating effect of knowledge sharing and creativity was verified. In order to demonstrate the hyphotheses, this study focused on 237 employees who work in Chinese SMEs. The results of the empirical analysis showed that participatory leadership had a positive effect on knowledge sharing, creativity, and innovative behavior. In addition, the serial multiple mediating effects of knowledge sharing and creativity on the relationship between participatory leadership and innovative behavior was significant. Overall, this study verified the positive role of participatory leadership that enhances employees' innovative behavior in Chinese SMEs and contributed to expanding the research field related to employees' innovative behavior through serial multiple mediating model.

  • 본 논문은 광대역 무선통신환경에서 3GPP(3rd Generation Partnership Project)에 기반한 비동기 IMT-2000 시스템의 송수신 시스템을 구성하여 기지국의 수신성능을 분석한다. 이동국과 기지국간의 Uplink채널 환경을 고려하였으며, 다중경로 페이딩(Multi-path Fading)채널과 다중접속간섭(Mult-Access Interference : MAI)에 의한 성능열화의 대책으로 Adaptive away 안테나와 동일채널 간섭제거기(Co-Channel Interference Canceler : CCI Canceller)를 직렬로 채용하였을 경우의 수신 성능을 수치해석을 통하여 분석하였다. Adaptive array 안테나는 방향성(Directivity : D=2.67) 이용하는 3-element array 안테나를 채용하였으며 성능분석 결과, Adaptive array 안테나와 간섭제거기를 직렬로 연결하였을 경우 다중접속간섭이 효과적으로 감소하여 수신성능이 큰 폭으로 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 DC-DC 플라이백 컨버터 회로를 바탕으로, 고전압 입력으로부터 다채널의 절연된 저전압을 출력하는 고압 SMPS에 관한 것이다. 제안된 토폴로지는 고전압을 분배하는 커패시터와 MCU 전용의 커패시터를 직렬로 구성하고, 각 커패시터에 분배된 전압을 입력으로 다중여자 방식의 플라이백 컨버터 구조로 되어있다. 직렬 커패시터 구조는 고압환경에서의 소자들의 절연 및 전압스트레스를 저감할 수 있으며, MCU 전용의 커패시터는 시스템의 초기구동을 위한 자가충전(Self-Power) 및 Black-Start의 시스템 안정화 구조이다. 또한 다중여자방식은 변압기의 단일 코어를 사용하여 스위칭 전류를 흘려줌으로서 커패시터의 전압불균형을 막을 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 제안된 토폴로지는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper handles, implementation of multiple access bidirectional serial communications protocol using DC power lines. The normal voltage of the power communication line maintains 24[V] corresponding to level 1 and the host drops the voltage to 12[V] on sending level 0 signal, also the clients normally keeps the line voltage to 24[V] use pull-down circuit to drop the voltage to 12[V] on sending level 1 signal. Host senses the voltage level of the power communication lines and the hosts switches power source from 24[V] to 12[V]. Experimental circuit is designed with one hosts and four clients and verified the power line voltage switching operation depending on the data signal levels on the power line.
