Forward Link Performance of CDMA/FDM Systems with Truncated Adaptive Transmission (차단 적응 전송 기법을 쓴 부호분할 다중접속/주파수분할 방식의 내림 연결 성능)

  • A hybrid multicarrier CDMA/FDM system with a truncated adaptive transmission scheme is analyzed in forward link based on the feedback information from the mobile station. In the single cell environment, the prop(mea scheme outperforms the adaptive FH/DS system as well as the MC DS/CDMA system when orthogonal signature sequences are used. In the multiple cell environment also, the proposed scheme has better performance characteristics than the adaptive FH/DS system when orthogonal and random codes are used as spreading sequences.

  • 많은 무선 스마트 단말의 보급으로 무선 데이터 트래픽이 폭발적으로 증가해 왔고, 이로 인한 주파수 자원의 부족은 피할 수 없는 문제가 되었다. 본 과제에서는 획득한 인지정보를 기반으로 하여 다중 라디오 환경에서 주파수 스펙트럼 감지, 동적 스펙트럼 할당, 다중 라디오 선택 및 다중화, 최적 자원 할당, 적응형 전송 기술을 개발하였고, 이 기술들의 개발로 추가적인 주파수 사용 없이 주파수 사용 효율을 최대화함으로써 네트워크 성능 향상을 이끌어 내었다. 본 기술은 고유 주파수 대역 접속, 공통 주파수 대역 접속, 고유/공통 주파수 대역 동시 접속의 경우로 나누어 개발되었다. 개발된 기술은 사용자의 QoS(Quality of Service)를 만족하는 동시에 네트워크 성능 향상을 이끌어낼 수 있음을 모의실험을 통해 검증하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 4G뿐만 아니라, 5G에서 핵심적인 기술 개발의 중요한 역할을 담당할 것이며, 앞으로도 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.

  • 통신 기술의 발달로 많은 통신기기들이 하나의 채널을 공유하여 사용하게 되었다 여러 통신기기가 채널을 공유하여 사용하므로 동시에 데이터를 전송하여 발생하는 충돌 가능성이 증가하였다 이러한 충돌로 인한 네트워크 성능의 저하를 방지하기 위하여 다양한 다중 접속(Multiple Access) 기술이 연구되고 있다. CSMA(Carrier Sense Multiple Access)는 다양한 다중 접속 기술의 기반이 되는 기술이다. CSMA는 nonpersistence, 1-persistence, p-persistence와 같이 다양한 전송 방식을 지원하기 때문에 여러 네트워크 환경에 널리 적용된다. 그러나 CSMA가 다양한 네트워크 환경에 적용이 가능하지만 네트워크의 빈번한 상태 변화를 고려하여 최적의 성능을 유지하지는 못한다. CSMA의 전송 방식들은 네트워크 환경에 따라 그 성능의 변화가 심하다 본 논문에서는 동적 네트워크 환경을 고려하여 성능을 향상시키기 위한 적응형 persistence 방법을 제안한다.

A Study On Performance of Fiber Optic CDMA System for Parallel Transmission of Two Dimensional Data (2차원 데이터의 병렬전송을 위한 광부호분할 다중접속 시스템의 성능에 관한 연구)

  • Generally, one-dimensional fiber optic code-division multiple-access(CDMA) system is encoded and decoded using optical orthogonal codes(OOC’s), where two-dimensional fiber optic CDMA system uses optical orthogonal signature pattern codes(OOSPC’s) for parallel data link process. The OOSPC’s should have good autocorrelation and cross-correlation properties. However, if timing information or synchronization of OOSPC’s can be obtained by other means, the property of autocorrelation may not be restricted and we can increase the number of pattern codes. In this paper we introduce the fiber optic CDMA system for parallel transmission of two-dimensional data and investigate methods of generation of two-dimensional pattern codes. The probability density function of interference noise is calculated in interfering OOSPC’s of the users and the corresponding bit error rate is derived.. We compare each OOSPC’s by plotting bit error rate versus threshold values and the number of simultaneous users, from the result, we propose the optimal OOSPC’s conditions for the parallel transmission of two-dimensional data.

  • This paper presents a prediction mechanism of performance for an efficient interleave-division multiple access (IDMA) scheme that is being considered as 4th generation mobile radio system. The scheme is based upon log-likelihood ratio (LLR) to predict the performance of the IDMA. The conventional IDMA system simply passes the LLR values to a coarse estimation process in the receiver over a pre-defined number of iterations for an acceptable performance. The proposed IDMA system uses the LLRs to predict its BER performance and thus the iterative operation at the receiver can significantly be reduced when the performance attains an acceptable level. Performance evaluation shows that the proposed scheme of the IDMA with the LLRs used for the prediction provides a comparable BER performance. The use of the LLRs can facilitate an efficient design of the IDMA system that is a strong candidate system for 4G mobile radio systems.

  • This study includes the efficiency assessment of a multiple access protocol for UUV (Underwater unmanned vehicle) control. Most of UUVs are controled by wire now; however, wireless control is demanded because of the demerit of the wire control that limits the place and activity. This study simulates efficiency of a standardization multiple access protocol (Pure ALOHA, Slotted ALOHA, Nonpersistent CSMA, Slotted Nonpersistent ISMA) formed for the purpose of performing wireless communication controlled by the ship or communication buoy at the sea surface and by the under water communication node at the bottom in order to efficiently control the UUV's. Results show that no significant changes occur related to changing type of the mother ship and the communication node; In addition, the Non-persistent CSMA and the Slotted Non-persistent ISMA show relatively high efficiency for underwater acoustic communication.

  • In this paper, we propose a Baysian method estimating system reliability which is more effective and precise than conventional methods using prior information. This technique estimates system reliabilities that an entire system and multiprocessing system is normally working in multiprocessor system and multiple port connected memory architecture. The reason is why internetwork with multiprocessor system is mainly connected as multiple bus structure, crossbar switching structure and multiport connected memory structure.

  • In this paper, we show that the SIDMA(Self-organized Time Division Multiple Access) protocol using aviation surveillance data link now, designs to the ICAO DO 9816 documentation sequence. This protocol makes use of the VDL(VHF Data Link) Mode 4 and UAT(Universal Access Transceiver) system's MAC(Media Access Control) layer. We make sure of the simulation result and implementation of STDMA protocol program in accompany with the ICAO documentation sequence. This program operates the slot allocation and reservation with report rate when protocol transmits data and calculates slot address.

  • Recently, personal mobile devices increased according to the rise of smart devices. Thus the all smart devices load with a bluetooth of standard specifications. However, it is deficiency to service using multiple connection of bluetooth device connection limit. Also bluetooth have other problem. bluetooth can't data communication until all device connection. In this paper, we proposed multi-connect algorithm based on TDM using AT command to overcome the problems above. As a result, it is confirmed that the real-time connectivity and data transmission between multiple devices is possible.
