Development of the Real-Time Multiplex Channel Media Player to Heighten the Dramatic Effect of an Advertisement (광고 효과 증대를 위한 실시간 다중 채널 미디어 재생기의 개발)

  • This paper describes methodology which enables user in order to play multiplex channel media at realtime to augment a various advertisement effect efficiently. This method implemented from the computer environment where DirectX SDK, DirectShow and MS Visual Studio 2008 etc. are established. This media player have or hide the menu interface for reads the media. The experimental data which are used in the media player is mostly video. We added the area where has the function of Banner Ticker and GIF Animation in the media player in order augmenting an advertisement effect. All medias come to separate with video and audio by Splitter. Then that respectively execute Decoder and Render. Also the media player are possible video mixing using an alpha channel. This paper used VMR-9 of DirectShow for this. The player which sees to use multiplex channel, to remake the various medias simultaneously. Therefore, this player which sees advertisement effect of the form which is various positively in the users, has the advantage which is the possibility to recognize. This paper use tried the media player using experimental data and compare the existing media player and the media player which proposes from functional differences for an advertisement effect.

  • 본 연구에서는 절삭공정 중 발생하는 공구의 접촉이탈 현상에 의하여 공작 물의 절삭된 표면중에 한회전 및 그 이전 회전에 절삭된 절삭면의 형상이 현재의 절삭 깊이에 영향을 미치는 다중재생효과(multiple regenerative effect)가 존재하는 선삭 작업에서 공구의 착탈현상을 고려한 비선형채터(nonlinear chatter)를 공작기계의 생 산성의 관점에서 절삭공정의 특성을 고려하여 해석하였으며, 수동제어기의 일종인 임 펙트댐퍼를 절삭공정에 응용하여 절삭작업중에 공작기계의 안정성향상 뿐만 아니라 생 산성의 증가효과를 규명하였다.아울러 댐퍼자체의 설계변수에 따른 채터 억제효과 를 고려하여 최적의 댐퍼를 설계하는 방법을 제시하였다.

Multi-Signal Regeneration Effect of Quadrature Digital Radio-Frequency Memory (직교방식 디지털 고주파기억장치의 다중신호 재생성 효과)

  • This paper describes the effect of multiple signal regeneration in quadrature digital radio frequency memory(DRFM). Single channel DRFM have good reproducibility after storing a single signal. However, when reproduced after storing multiple signals, the spurious signal is large. The quadrature DRFM consists of I and Q channels, which can greatly reduce the spurious signal. The amplitude of the spurious signal depends on the number of bits of data stored in the DRFM. In this paper, we have obtained the number of bits of signal regeneration according to the application of radio frequency memory by obtaining the size of the spurious signal according to the number of bits of the stored data of the DRFM for multiple signals. As a result of this study, 4 bits quadrature DRFM can achieve a spurious output of less than -20dB, which is used for 4 signals. Those are expected to greatly contribute to the signal analysis of electronic warfare equipment and the development of jamming device.

  • 본 논문은 인간이 양귀로 3차원 공간상의 음의 위치를 파악하는 원리를 이용하여 만들어진 입체음향을 청취자의 안귀에 가장 효과적으로 재생시킴으로써 완벽한 입체음향을 재현하는 장치로 3차원 게임, 가상현실 시뮬레이터, 놀이공원에서 사용될 수 있는 A/V용 입체음향 재생기 구현 기법이다. 본 개발 품은 전방 30도에 스피커를 배치하는 기존 제품에 비해 안정된 정면 음상 정위와 후면 음상 정위가 가능하고, 청취자의 머리 움직임에 따른 입체음향 효과의 저하를 막을 수 있으며, 인지적 특성을 고려한 역 필터링으로 과도한 신호처리로 인한 음질 저하를 개선할 수 있고, 다중 사용자에게 동일한 음질을 골고루 전달할 수 있어 카 오디오나 영화관에서도 사용되어질 수 있다.

On an Algorithm for the Assessment of Collision Risk among Multiple Ships based on AIS (AIS 기반 다중선박 충돌 위험도 추정 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • A monitoring system of collision risk among multiple ships is newly-designed in order to reduce human error and make vessel traffic control more effective. By using AIS data as ships' navigational information, an estimation algorithm of collision risk among multiple ships is newly-designed. To consider ships' course of now and future, collision risks of multiple ships can be calculated by using fuzzy algorithm. To test the performance of new algorithm, replay simulations are carried out on actual AIS data collected from VTS center of Ulsan harbor in Korea. The AIS data include 25 ships' information for two hours. In this paper, the features of newly-designed estimation algorithm of collision risk and the results of replay simulation are discussed.

  • 소프트웨어로 MPEG-1 디코더의 구현이 가능하다. 소프트웨어 MPEG-1 디코더의 문제 중 하나는 MPEG-1 압축 알고리즘의 특징상 각각의 영상들이 서로 다른 압축율로 압축되기 때문에 재생시에 디코더에 걸리는 부하가 매우 불규칙적이라는 점이다. 이 문제는 MPEG-1 디코더를 보다 작은 실행 단위인 쓰래드로 나누어 처리함으로써 효율적으로 해결할 수 있다. 이때 독립적인 실행 흐름을 가지는 쓰래드들간의 데이터 전달을 위하여 공유버퍼를 사용하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 다중 쓰래드로 구성된 소프트웨어 MPEG-1 디코더에서 쓰래드들 간의 데이터 전달에 사용되는 공유 버퍼를 이용하여 오디오와 비디오 스트림의 동기화를 효과적으로 수행하는 기법을 소개한다.

Stereo-video Synchronization for 3D Video Transmission (3차원 비디오 전송을 위한 스테레오비디오 동기화 방법)

  • In this paper, we propose a stereo-video transmission method for reduction of delay and maximization of 3D effect. Conventional multimedia synchronization algorithms were designed to achieve minimum delay and synchronize multiple video and audio streams, however, they could not be effective for 3D video transmission. In this paper, we proposed a synchronization algorithm by considering the minimum error of time difference between streams for 3D effect. The minimum error of time difference for 3D effect was derived based on a 3D subjective quality test. We compute display time of the delivered videos within the allowed time-difference and the video are displayed according to the display time. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we implemented a real-time video communication system and subjective quality test has been conducted with the proposed system. We found that video quality displayed by the proposed system. We found that video quality displayed by the proposed algorithm ranks 'good' and 'excellent' in the DMOS (Differential Mean Opinion Score) scale, based on the MOS (Mean Opinion Score) test.

A Simple Multi-rate Parallel Interference Canceller for the IMT-2000 3GPP System (IMT-2000 3GPP 시스템을 위한 간단한 다중 전송률 병렬형 간섭제거기)

  • In this paper, we propose an effective but simple multi-rate parallel interference canceller(PIC) for the international mobile telecommunications-2000(IMT-2000) 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) system. For effective multi-rate processing, we define the basic block as one symbol period of the dedicated physical control channel(DPCCH) having the lowest data rate and common to all users. Then, decision and interference cancellation are performed at every basic block. For an asynchronous channel, we propose an advance removal scheme that removes in advance multiple access interference(MAI) due to the next blockof other users with shorter delay. Introducing a pipeline structure at a sample base, we can implement efficiently the PIC using the advance removal scheme with a minimum hardware and no extra computations. Through computer simulations, we analyze the bit error rate(BER) performance of the proposed PIC with respect to signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and the number of users.

  • Recently, many kinds of TV contents based on multimedia need transmission systems without the saved. In this study, we develop the streaming device and smart app to transmit and play without store for multimedia contents such a broadcasting, internet, VOD, video, and animation. To do this, we compare and analysis main CPU products, broadcasting tuners and interfaces for streaming sources, and memory products. We then design and implement the streaming device which supports 30fps@FHD H.264 decoding and streaming, and multimedia sources with more than three. We develop the software for these requirements. Thissystemis useful to support billing service for multimedia contents.

Evaluation on the Satisfaction of Urban Regeneration Projects - A case study of Yeong-ju - (도시재생사업의 만족도 평가 - 영주시를 대상으로 -)

  • Urban regeneration is a worldwide challenging project, showing a great interest in the sector. In order for Korea's urban regeneration to be settled successfully in the early stage, it is necessary to analyze and review the opinions and business performance of the urban regeneration areas. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the urban regeneration planning factors affecting urban regeneration on the satisfaction of citizens, public administration and region. This study surveyed the residents and experts of the Yeongju city, Gyeongsangbuk-do, where urban regeneration is actively doing with active participation of residents and local government. Based on the data of the survey, this paper performed frequency analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis as a analytic methods. The results revealed that 'community factor' was the most important factor to the satisfaction of residents in the urban regeneration project in progress. In the final stage(at present), both 'community factor' (0.387) and 'physical factor'(0.454) were found to have a significant effect on satisfaction. While the satisfaction from 'the economic factor'(0.111) has slowed but it has increased with 'the physical factors' in the process of regeneration project, 'the social factors'(-0.007) shows a downward trend. If the role of social factors and community factors are supported at the beginning step of the urban regeneration project, the physical factors and economic factors are continued to lead a sustainable urban regeneration in the long term.
