A study on the implementation of digital anti-fire monitoring system with multipoint communication protocol (다중포인트 통신 프로토콜을 지원하는 디지털 화재 방지 모니터링 시스템 구현에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we investigated an implementation of anti-fire monitoring system based on the RS-485 communication to support local area coverage within a range of 1 Km range. We developed a Multi Point Communication Protocol supporting input/output information processing and control up to 8128 terminal check points, which provides an interface between the anti-fire monitoring system receiver and multiplex transponders. Additionally, a multiplex transponders controller has been designed for the implemented system to comply with the government regulation on fire protection, especially to monitor, report and control 1016 terminal check points within the time limit.

  • 복잡한 구조를 가진 케이블의 빠르고 정확한 검사를 위해 다중 입출력 검사 장치가 사용된다. 기존의 검사 장치의 제어 방법은 한번에 여러 가지 회선 특성을 가진 케이블의 검사가 불가능하며, 장치 안정성 및 검사 성능에 있어서 개선의 여지가 있으므로 이를 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 입출력 장치의 검사 시퀀스 및 하드웨어 개량을 통한 개선 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 검사 명령 및 검사 결과를 저장하는 데이터 패킷에서 검사 명령을 좀더 세분화하여 패킷을 최적화하고 중복 명령을 제거하였으며, 입출력 신호 충돌 가능성을 차단하였다. 또한, I2C 버스 양방향 회로를 사용하여 전압 레벨 차이를 극복하고 활용성을 높일 수 있었다.

  • Flight control computers for unmanned aerial vehicles are avionics that require high reliability and are generally designed to be multiplexed for margins on failures. The multiplexed flight control computer should include an interface through discrete signals and CCDL for synchronization and fault separation between channels. With the development of unmanned aerial vehicle technology, various types of platforms such as AAM and LPI are being developed in the private and military, which require advanced control performance for high-performance flight control and SWaP optimization of onboard equipment. In this paper, we designed a optimized flight control computer architecture for unmanned aerial vehicles for multiplexing processing and performed a software design for input and output control. In addition, input/output processing performance was evaluated through the implemented flight control computer and input/output software.

  • A multi-heat pump provides the benefits of comfort, energy conservation and easy maintenance. Recently, the multi-heat pump has been widely employed in small and medium-sized buildings. However, the control algorithm of the multi-heat pump are limited in the open literature due to complicated operating conditions. In this study, the MIMO control algorithm using integral optimum regulator was designed and the control performance of it was analyzed. In addition, system model of the control plant was developed by PRBS system identification scheme. The MIMO controller adopting the integral optimum regulator yielded satisfactory control performance results.

  • For dynamic system under the external irregular disturbance, a performance of the controller designed by using of the 'Heo-stochastic control methodology' is investigated by simulations and experiments. MIMO Flexible cantilever beam, sticked with piezoceramics used as a sensor and actuator, under the irregular disturbance at bottom is modelled in physical domain. Dynamic moment equation about the system is derived through both the Ito's stochastic differential equation and Fokker-Planck-Kolmogoroff equation and also system's characteristics in stochastic domain is analyzed. In this study, the controller suppresses the amplitude of the system's moment response to the external disturbance. MIMO PI controller('Heo-stochastic MIMO PI controller') is designed in the stochastic domain and the response characteristics are investigated in the time domain

  • In this paper, we consider the input-output(I/O) transformation for the time-varying linear system and get the time-invarying linear system. And we present the necessary sufficient condition for the I/O transformation. The transformed system represent the system with the multiple integral. We verify the proposal algorithm via the example and examine.

  • For Ka-band satellite communication system, a new flexible payload technologies which can compensate rain attenuation have to be developed. The Ka-band satellite output power control technology enables to adjust downlink output power of satellite payload in Ka-band (19.8 ~ 22.2 GHz). In this paper, we introduce multi-beam antenna with multi-port amplifiers for Ka-band flexible output power allocation system. We have designed multi-beam antenna with array-fed reflector to form 8 beams on the Korean Peninsula. The target EIRP per beam is more than 59 dBW. The system is designed to present 6 dB boost beams for rainfall areas. Individual beams were optimized by the excited amplitude and phase of feed elements of the feed cluster. The multi-port amplifier(MPA) is one of effective approaches for flexible power allocation in combination with multi-beam antenna. In case of using MPA in multi-beam system, the inter-port isolation characteristic of MPA is important parameter to avoid interference among the output ports. In this paper, we propose a new MPA structure that consists of two $4{\times}4$ Buttler matrixes and phase/amplitude controllable power amplifier modules.

  • This paper is concerned with the active vibration control of a grid structure equipped with piezoceramic sensors and actuators. The grid structure is a replica of the solar panel commonly mounted on satellites, which contains complex natural mode shapes. The multi input and multi output positive position feedback controller is considered as an active vibration controller for the grid structure. A new concept, the block-inverse technique, is proposed to cope with more modes than the number of actuators and sensors. This study also deals with the stability and the spillover effect associated with the application of the multi-input multi-output positive position feedback controller based on the block inverse technique. It was found that the theories developed in this study are capable of predicting the control system characteristics and its performance. The new multi-input multi-output positive position feedback controller was applied to the test structure using a digital signal processor and its efficacy was verified by experiments..
