  • 이동컴퓨터의 기술발전과 더불어 인터넷환경에서 다양한 서비스지원을 위한 이동성지원에 대한 연구가 최근에 활성화되고 있다. 그러나 다자간회의나 다양한 네트워크 환경을 조성하고 있는 인터넷으로 적용을 위해서는 인터레이스를 유연성 있게 지원하는 방법이 제시되어야 한다. IP 기반의 이동컴퓨팅 환경에서는 이동성지원을 위해서 이동호스트의 위치를 정의할 수 있는 Mobile-IP 연구와 멀티캐스트를 지원하는 멀티캐스트연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IP 기반 이동컴퓨팅 환경에서 멀티캐스트를 지원하기 위한 요구사항을 연구분석하며 인터네트워크 환경으로 적용을 위한 다양한 인터페이스 지원 모델을 제시한다.

Decision-feedback Multiuser Receiver for CDMA Systems (CDMA 시스템에서 결정궤환을 이용한 다중 사용자 수신기)

  • In this paper a decision feedback multiuser receiver which rejects multiuser interference is designed in synchronous CDMA systems. Multiuser interference rejection is achieved by decision feedback from the output of a matched filter bank in case of AWGN channels and PAKE receiver bank in case of fading channels. The coefficients of the decision feedback structure are adapted by the Least Mean Square(LMS) algorithm. Simulation results show that the decision feedback multiuser receiver has better performance than the conventional receiver.

  • The dispute between SK and Netflix, which has been going on for more than three years, ended in the direction of dropping the lawsuit and establishing a cooperative relationship between the two companies. However, as Internet traffic usage is likely to increase further in the future due to digital transformation and activation of generated AI, conflicts between domestic mobile carriers and global CP operators over network usage fees can arise at any time. In this study, the issues of the dispute related to network usage fees that occurred between SK and Netflix were examined, and different implications were drawn for each issue. The cost and scope of network usage considerations are an issue that must be determined entirely by negotiations between operators. However, if a dispute occurs between operators, user damage such as speed delays may occur, so it is necessary to prepare a policy alternative. As the domestic media industry has grown cooperatively with global CPs, it is considered important to form a reciprocal relationship between domestic mobile telecommunication operators and global CP operators regarding network usage fees in the future.

  • The multi-functional VoIP phone supports the Ethernet protocol in the TIPS(: Tactical IP Switch), which is one of the sub-systems of the tactical information and communication system (TICN). It provides secured voice / video calls in conjunction with VoIP exchanges and supports differential services such as multi-party calls and command functions. In this paper, improving methods have been proposed to reduce power supply defects in the field of multi-functional VoIP phones. The power supply part was improved by applying TVS of the output voltage inlet of the dedicated adapter of the multi-functional VoIP phone, TVS of the PoE module input, adding blocking diodes, and adding DC / DC converters behind the poly-switch. Also, functional and environmental tests were performed to verify the validity of the proposed methods.

  • In order to support efficiently the multimedia applications, such as virtual classroom, video conferencing and tele-medical, the efficient multipoint-to-multipoint(MP-to-MP) connection management function is essential. Shared tree is reported as the most useful method for this purpose. In this paper we propose a new MP-to-MP connection setup & management scheme, called CIMA(Cell Interleaved Multiplexing on ATM) scheme,which is a VC merging method for MP-to-MP communication using shared tree. In the CIMA scheme,MRM cell delivers the cell merging information to the next node. The receiving node can identfy cells which arrived through a channel using the same VPI/VCI by the merging information in the MRM cell. Therefore the CIMA scheme can solve easily the Cell Interleaving Problem(CIP) that happens in VC merging. We analyzed the overhead of the proposed CIMA by mathematical analysis,and simulated the buffer usage of CIMA with OPNET. As the result of analysis,we found that the CIMA scheme has acceptable merging overhead and doesn't cause the buffer scare problem.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of video conference system using hybrid type P2P(Peer to Peer). The proposed video conference system has hybrid type P2P architecture based on a client-server and P2P(Peer to Peer), where client-server is used for exchange of account management, client list and status information and P2P is used for the real time video conference. The proposed video conference system decreases the traffic of server, and cuts down the load of a network. Because the multimedia data is decentralized to client by P2P. Also, this system is tested by the multi-party video conference system using communication protocol and application software through high speed networks.

  • This paper presents the design and the implemenration of a Mutiuser Multimedia Confernce System for synchronous groupwork.The infrastructure of this system is a hybrid srchiercture of centralized and replicated archietctures,that is to maintain sharde information cinsistently and to reduce the overhead of network traffic to the central part.The communication control of data for groupwerk managrment is centralized to the virtual node and the communication control of real data such as audio,video,text is replicated.In order ot provide a realtime audio and video processing,this system uses synamic queues and multithreads.

  • Group multicast refers to the kind of multicast in which every member of a group is allowed to transmit data to the group. The goal of routing algorithms for group multicast is to construct a set of low cost multicast trees including all the group members with QoS (e.g., bandwidth) constraint. There have been several algorithms proposed: source tree and shared tree approaches. However, the latter approach has a low success rate in constructing a shared multicast tree, and the former approach suffers from high control overhead and low scalability as stoup size increases. In this paper, we present a heuristic algorithm which varies the number of multicast trees according to the network load. The simulation results show not only that our algorithm outperforms the shared tree approach in terms of the success rate, but also that it has lower control overhead than the source tree approach while guaranteeing the same success rate.

Design of enhanced communications transport service for multimedia applications (멀티미디어 응용을 위한 향상된 트랜스포트 서비스 설계)

  • Two distinct features required in transport service and protocol to meet new multimedia applications requirements are multicast transmission capability and enhanced QoS facility. In this paper, we presents major functions and facilities of enhanced communications transport service definition supporting these requirements. At first, major fundamental issues, that should be handled to design multi-peer communcation service and protocol, are resoved and applied to design service definition. Secondly, we proposed several new functions for enhanced transport service such as heterogeneous TC establishment, invitation capability, TC-ownership transfer, restriction of transmit concurrency. The detils of proposed enhanced transport service are TC creation, TC invitation, TC join, multicase data transfer, pause of data transfer, resulme of data transfer, report of specific status, TC leave, TC termination, TC-ownership transfer, Token transfer services. The proposed transport service was submitted and accepted as a draft text for committee draft of international standard by the international standradization body such as JTC1/SC6 and ITU-T SG 7.

  • RS-485, communication bases from small network system must prepare in collision. The collision is that mean the data transfer breaks. For a stabilized communication chooses 1:N polling methods. But polling is low speed in addition to maybe overload Master device. So, usual N:N Prefers a communication. In this case, must be preparing to avoid collision or some solutions. Generally, to after collision retransmits after short time. It's called delay time for short time. When making a delay time, uses address of each systems. (Address of each node) If the many nodes collided, the each node has different delay time. When making a delay time, uses a usual random number. Making a random number is hard job. So uses a usual pseudorandom number. It is more difficult from small size MCU. The Chaos random number provides stabled value. Finally, when uses the Chaos random number, the stability and reliability of system get better.
