A Scheme that Transcodes and Services from PC Web Page to Mobile Web Page of Dynamic Object with DOM (DOM을 이용한 PC 웹 페이지에서 모바일 웹 페이지로의 다이나믹 오브젝트 변환 및 서비스 기법)

  • With development of mobile communications terminal and expansion of mobile Internet, a large number of users can use mobile web contents at anytime and anywhere and will demand service of greater contents. Due to such demand, many studies are being carried out on transcoding contents so that wired web contents can be used in mobile web. However, transcoding and creation of mobile web contents involve difficulties because specifications available from telecommunications companies and mobile terminals have not been standardized. Especially, in order for serving dynamic object of wired web page contents to dynamically change according to time or user, it is required not only to program scripts to suit each terminal, but also to transcode the resources used in advance. for solution to this problem, this study uses the hierarchy structure of DOM (document object model) to display structural characteristics of wired web page. In other words, this study proposes the following technique. Wired web pages are analyzed and the results are established as data structure. Then, dynamic object is extracted and the domain is indexed so that, when serving mobile web page, information can be extracted at the indexed position to create mobile web contents for service on real-time basis. Also, this study aims at developing an editing device to edit mobile web contents and mobile web service server to service the edited contents by applying the above technique.

개선된 다이나믹 프로그래밍과 품질 정보 및 퍼지 추론 기법을 이용한 DNA 염기 서열 배치 알고리즘

  • DNA 염기 서열 배치 알고리즘은 분자 생물학 분야에서 단백질과 핵산 서열들의 분석에서 중요한 방법이다. 생물학적인 염기 서열들은 그들 사이의 유사성과 차이점을 나타내기 위해 정렬된다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 DNA 염기 서열 배치 방법을 개선하기 위하여 DP(Dynamic Programming) 알고리즘의 비용증가( O (nm) ) 문제를 해결하는 Quadrant 방법과 품질 정보 및 퍼지 추론시스템(fuzzy inference system)을 적용한 DNA 염기 서열 배치 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 DNA 염기 서열 배치 알고리즘은 Quadrant 방법을 적용하여 Needleman-Wunsch의 DP 기반 알고리즘에서의 행렬 생성 단계에서 발생하는 불필요한 정렬 계산을 제거하여 전체 수행 시간을 단축하고, 각 DNA 염기 서열 단편 각각의 길이 차이와 낮은 품질의 DNA 염기 빈도를 퍼지 추론 시스템에 적용하여 지능적으로 갭 비용(gap cost)을 동적으로 조정한다. 제안된 알고리즘의 성능 평가를 위해 NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information)의 실제 유전체 데이터로 성능을 분석한 결과, 제안된 알고리즘이 기존의 품질정보만을 이용한 알고리즘보다 개선된 것을 확인하였다.

  • A numerical trajectory planning method for path-constrained trajectory planning is proposed which ensures collision-free and time-optimal motions for two robotic manipulators with limited actuator torques and velocities. For each robot, physical constraints of the robots such as limited torques or limited rotational velocities of the actuators are converted to the constraints on velocity and acceleration along the path, which is described by a scalar variable denoting the traveled distance from starting point. Collision region is determined on the coordination space according to the kinematic structures and the geometry of the paths of the robots. An Extended Coordination Space is then constructed` an element of the space determines the postures and the velocities of the robots, and all the constraints described before are transformed to some constraints on the behaviour of the coordination-velocity curves in the space. A dynamic programming technique is them provided with on the discretized Extended Coordination Space to derive a collision-free and time-optimal trajectory pair. Numerical example is included.

  • The stereoscopic vision system is the algorithm to obtain the depth of target object of stereo vision image. This paper presents an efficient disparity matching method using nagao filter, octree color quantization and dynamic programming algorithm. we describe methods for performing color quantization on full color RGB images, using an octree data structure. This method has the advantage of saving a lot of data. We propose a preprocessing stereo matching method based on Nagao-filter algorithm using color information. using the nagao filter, we could obtain effective depth map and using the octree color quantization, we could reduce the time of computation.

  • The energy management of an HEV using optimal control and global optimization is thought to be closest to the best operation of the system. However, there are some controversies on the ways of defining the optimization problems and constituting the optimal control simulators. Here, we presented a simulator which adopts the concept of equivalent fuel economy and leads the vehicle to run in a more efficient way. In order to realize the optimal operation of the HEV and check the validity of the control logics, we also developed a forward-facing simulator. The simulator was developed with the Cruise and MATLAB co-simulation interface. Especially, neural network controller was used for the hybrid control module in the simulator. With the simulator, the optimal operation could be converted into hybrid control rules and the validity of the operation was verified.

  • DNA 시퀀스 데이터베이스 규모의 급격한 증가 추세를 고려할 때, DNA 시퀀스 검색 연산을 보다 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 인덱싱 및 질의 처리 기술이 요구 된다. 접미어 트리는 DNA 시퀀스 검색을 위한 좋은 인덱스 구조로 알려져 왔다. 그러나 접미어 트리는 그 구조적 특성으로 인하여 저장공간, 검색 성능, DBMS와의 통합 등의 문제점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 접미어 트리의 문제점들을 해결하는 DNA 시퀀스 검색을 위한 새로운 인덱스 구조를 제안하고, 이를 기반으로 하는 효율적인 질의 처리 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 인덱스 기법은 이진 트라이를 기본 구조로 채택하며 DNA 시퀀스의 윈도우 서브 시퀀스를 인덱싱 대상으로 한다. 유사 서브 시퀀스 검색을 위한 질의 처리 알고리즘은 기본적으로 다이나믹 프로그래밍 기법에 근거하여 이진 트라이를 루트로부터 너비 우선(breadth-first) 방식으로 운행하며, 경로 상에 존재하는 모든 유사 서브 시퀀스를 검색해 낸다. 제안된 기법의 우수성을 검증하기 위하여, 기존의 접미어 트리와의 비교 실험을 통한 성능 평가를 수행하였다. 실험 결과에 의하면, 제안된 인덱스 기법은 접미어 트리에 비하여 약 30%의 작은 저장 공간을 가지고도 수배에서 수십배의 검색 성능의 개선 효과를 나타낸다.

  • Histogram is one of tools that efficiently summarize data, and it is widely used for selectivity estimation and approximate query answering. Existing histogram construction algorithms are applicable to point data represented by a set of values. As often as point data, we can meet interval data such as daily temperature and daily stock prices. In this paper, we thus propose the histogram construction algorithms for interval data by extending several methods used in existing histogram construction algorithms. Our experiment results, using synthetic data, show our algorithms outperform naive extension of existing algorithms.

Energy Efficient Electric Vehicle Driving Optimization Method Satisfying Driving Time Constraint (제한 주행시간을 만족하는 에너지 효율적인 전기자동차 주행 최적화 기법)

  • This paper introduces a novel system-level framework that derives energy efficient electric vehicle (EV) driving speed profile to extend EV driving range without additional cost. This paper first implements an EV power train model considering forces acting on a driving vehicle and motor efficiency. Then, it derivate the minimum-energy driving speed profile for a given driving mission defined by the route. This framework first formulates an optimization problem and uses the dynamic programming algorithm with a weighting factor to derive a speed profile minimizing both of energy consumption and driving time. This paper introduces various weighting factor tracking methods to satisfy the driving time constraint. Simulation results show that runtime of the proposed scaling algorithm is 34% and 50% smaller than those of the binary search algorithm and greedy algorithm, respectively.

  • Recently, most of the countries started to regulate the emission of vehicle because of the global warming. The engine scooter is also one of the factor which cause the pollution. The hybrid system of a vehicle has many advantages such as fuel saving and emission reduction. The purpose of this study is to choose optimal size of engine, motor and battery for hybrid scooter system using Dynamic programming. The dynamic programming is an effective method to find an optimal solution for the complicated nonlinear system, which contains various constraints of control variables. The power source size of hybrid scooter was chosen through the backward simulator using dynamic programming. From the analysis, we choose the optimal size of each power source. To verify the optimal size of the power source, the Forward simulation was carried out. As a result, the fuel efficiency of hybrid scooter has significantly increased in comparison with that of engine scooter.

Lane Detection on Non-flat Road Using Piecewise Linear Model (굴곡진 도로에서의 구간 선형 모델을 이용한 차선 검출)

  • This paper proposes a robust lane detection algorithm for non-flat roads by combining a piecewise linear model and dynamic programming. Compared with other lane models, the piecewise linear model can represent 3D shapes of roads from the scenes acquired by monocular camera since it can form a curved surface through a set of planar road. To represent the real road, the planar roads are created by various angles and positions at each section. And dynamic programming determines an optimal combination of planar roads based on lane properties. Experiment results demonstrate the robustness of proposed algorithm against non-flat road, curved road, and camera vibration.
