Effects of CP AP Therapy on Systemic Blood Pressure, Cardiac Rhythm and Catecholamines Concentration in Patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (폐쇄성 수면 무호흡에서 CPAP 치료가 전신성 혈압, 심조율 및 catecholamines 농도에 미치는 영향)

  • Background : Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) affects systemic blood pressure and cardiac function. The development of cardiovascular dysfunction including the changes of systemic blood pressure and cardiac rhythm, suggests that recurrent hypoxia and arousals from sleep may increase a sympathetic nervous system activity. Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy has been found to be an effective treatment of OSAS. However, only a few studies have investigated the cardiovascular and sympathetic effects of CPAP therapy. We evaluated influences of nasal CPAP therapy on the cardiovascular system and the sympathetic activity in patients with OSAS. Methods : Thirteen patients with OSAS underwent CPAP therapy and were monitored using polysomnography, blood pressure, heart rate, presence of arrhythmia and the concentration of plasma catecholamines, before and with CPAP therapy. Results: The apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) was significant1y decreased (p<0.01) and the lowest arterial oxygen saturation level was elevated significantly after applying CPAP (p<0.01). Systolic blood pressure tended to decrease after CPAP but without statistical significance. Heart rates during sleep were not significantly different after CPAP. However, the frequency and number of types of arrhythmia decreased and sinus bradytachyarrhythmia disappeared after CPAP. Although there was no significant difference in the level of plasma epinephrine concentration, plasma norepinephrine concentration significantly decreased after CPAP (p<0.05). Conclusion : CPAP therapy decreased the apnea-hypopnea index, hypoxic episodes and plasma norepinephrine concentration. In addition, it decreased the incidence of arrhythmia and tended to decrease the systemic blood pressure. These results indicate that CPAP may play an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular complications in patients with OSAS.

Internal Perfusion of ADP in Mouse Oocytes Increases Outward $K^+$ Currents (ADP에 의한 생쥐 난자의 외향전류 증가 효과)

  • To find the mechanism underlying the ADP-induced increase in the outward current in ovulated mouse oocytes, we examined changes in voltage-dependent currents using the whole cell voltage clamp technique and the internal perfusion technique. Eggs were collected from the oviduct of superovulated mice with PMSG and hCG. Membrane potential was held at -60 mV (or -80 mV in the case of recording $Ca^{2+}$ currents) and step depolarizations or hyperpolarizations were applied for 300 ms. By step depolarizations, outward currents comprising steady-state and time-dependent components were elicited. They were generated in response to the positive potential more than 20 mV with severe outward rectification and were blocked by external TEA, a specific $K^{+}$ channel blocker, suggesting that they be carried via $K^{+}$ channels. Internally-perused 5 mM ADP gradually increased outward $K^{+}$ currents (IK) 1 min after perfusion of ADP and reached slowly to maximum (150~170%) 5 min later over the positive potential range, implying that ADP might not be acted directly to the $K^{+}$ channels. IK were decreased by 5 mM ATP without affecting the steady-state component of outward current. In contrast to the effect of ADP and ATP on IK, both effect of ATP and ADP on inward $Ca^{2+}$ currents (ICa) could not be detected due to the continuous decrease in current amplitudes with time-lapse ("run-down" phenomena). To check if there is a G protein-involved regulation in the ionic current of mouse oocytes, 1 mM GTP was applied to the cytoplasmic side, and the outward current and inward currents were recorded. ICa was promptly increased in the presence of GTP whereas IK was not changed. from these results, it is concluded that the ATP-dependent regulation is likely linked in the ADP-induced increase in the outward $K^{+}$ current, and G protein-involved cellular signalling might affect ion channels carrying $Ca^{2+}$ and $K^{+}$ in mouse oocytes.

차세대 나노 박막 다원계 모물질 설계 및 저마찰 코팅층 형성 기술

  • 산업이 고도화, 다원화, 세계화되고 있는 현대사회는 다기능성, 고물성, 극한 내구성을 가지며 환경 친화적이면서 에너지 효율을 극대화시킬 수 있는 다기능 소재의 개발을 요구하고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 다양한 물성을 동시에 발현이 가능한 코팅 소재는 향후 미래에 중요한 원천 소재로서 주목되고 있다. 특히, 환경에 의해 쉽게 물성 및 구조의 변화가 쉬운 종래의 코팅소재와는 달리, 다양한 외부환경에서도 미세 구조 및 물성을 안정적으로 유지할 수 있는 신개념의 코팅 소재의 개발이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 이를 위해서는 코팅소재의 다 성분화가 필수적이다. 최근의 코팅 기술은 2가지 이상의 물성, 특히 서로 상반되는 물성을 동시에 구현할 수 있는 소재의 개발을 요구하고 있다. 이러한 물성의 구현을 위하여 더 많은 성분으로 구성되며 더욱 복잡한 조직으로 구성된 코팅층에 대한 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서 목표로 하는 신 개념의 원천소재기술은 4성분계 이상의 원료 물질을 단일 타겟으로 제조하여, 단순한 코팅공정으로서 단일 코팅층 내에 다양한 성분상이 10 nm 미만 크기의 나노 결정립/나노 비정질로 구성된 나노 복합 구조로 형성되도록 하는 기술을 개발하고자 하는 것이다. 이는 복합기능 3 이상의 다기능성 부여는 물론, 그림 1에 명시되어 있는 극한 기능성(광대역 윤활성, 전자 이동 제어에 의한 온도 저항 계수 및 전기 저항 조절, 고온 열적 안정성, 내산화성, 고열전도율, 초저마찰/내구성/초고경도성 등)이 구현되도록 하는 소재 개발과 원하는 물성을 구현할 수 있는 나노 복합 코팅층의 형성 공정으로 구성된다. 다성분계 모물질의 개발이 중요한 이유는 다수의 성분 원소를 합금 상태로 형성시킴으로서, 단일 소스에 의해 다양한 원소를 동시에 스퍼터링 및 증착이 가능하도록 할 수 있다는 장점을 가지기 때문이다. 특히, 타겟의 미세구조를 나노구조화 하는것을 통해, 스퍼터링 yield의 차이가 큰 원소일지라도 균일하게 증착시킬 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자한다. 이러한 연구는 다수의 성분 타겟을 사용함으로서 장비의 복잡성, 코팅의 재현성, 대형화 등의 문제점을 본질적으로 갖고 있는 기존 PVD 공정의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 최적의 대안이라할 수 있다. 본 발표에서는 3가지 이상의 다기능성 구현을 위한 가장 중요한 원천기술이라 할 수 있는 다성분계 타겟 모물질 제조 기술과 제조된 모물질을 이용하여 제조된 저마찰 코팅층과 그 물성에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

  • The objective of this work was to analyze the concentrations of progesterone (P4) and estrogen (E2) hormones changed during estrus synchronization in dairy heifers. Estrus synchronization was carried out with CIDR$^{(R)}$ (Controlled Intravaginal Drug Release) devices. Corpus luteum (CL) was classified into three grades based on its size and palpable characteristics. The concentrations of P4 and E2 were measured by enzyme-amplified chemiluminescence. Serum P4 concentration was markedly low at the estrus stage (36 hrs after removal of CIDR) compared to other stages, while E2 concentration was kept high during estrus stage. The serum P4 concentration was highest in the CL classified into grade I. These results indicate that P4 concentration could be used as a criteria for determining recipients for artificial insemination or embryo transfer in dairy cattle.

  • This study showed effective and new applicative direction of CRM of medical management after arranging CRM researches, measuring CRM activity and the results of medical institutions and clearing factors having an effect. In other words, 'Human Factors' variables and 'Physical Factors' variables have an effect on the result of CRM. 'Human Factors' variables have an effect on the qualitative result and 'Physical Factors' variables have an effect on the quantitative performance. In more strategic CRM continuum, Human Factors have a significant effect on the whole performance of CRM. And in more tactical, CRM continuum Human Factors and Physical Factors have significant effect on the whole performance of CRM. Consequently, The key point is grasp of what characteristics exist in CRM between strategic level and tactical level. This provides the foundation for the variables in marketing practice.

  • The goal of this study is analysing a box office success of The Handmaiden in terms of modified space-time and character. The movie which has original novel induces desire of watching by decreasing property of experience good of movie based narrative of novel. Contrary to novel that is set in Victorian age, the movie changed contents that make a character who realizes masculine of colonialism and women oppressed by man escape through transcending class by adopting period of Japanese occupation. It hereby decreases negative effect by substituting growth and solidarity of women for the element of homosexuality. Also the gender discussion about crimes against female when the movie was running increases factor of sympathy of characters and accord with subject of the movie. Beside that, The reasons of success are detector, star system of actor, effective public marketing of movie trailer and selection of movie won the award for best picture at a film festival.. Movie through adapting novel enhances ability of various creation and blow up appreciation of spectator. The differentiation of adapted hit movie is that the altered content is creative, has subject that corresponding with universal awareness transcending space-time and expresses property of media effectively.

  • Tuberculosis remains as a major public health problem worldwide. In addition to classic pulmonary tuberculosis, tuberculosis may sometimes present atypically. In the case of atypical tuberculosis, the unusual sites and properties that mimic other diseases can lead to a misdiagnosis and therapeutic delay. Abdominal and pharyngeal tuberculosis are uncommon extrapulmonary manifestations of tuberculosis. To the best of our knowledge, a combination of abdominal and pharyngeal tuberculosis with endobronchial tuberculosis has not been reported. We report a case of concurrent abdominal and pharyngeal tuberculosis in a patient with chronic endobronchial tuberculosis mimicking a metastatic malignancy on computed tomography and FDG-PET.

  • China is in the process of carrying out socialist planned economic system and capitalist market economic system along with its reforms and opening. In the process, the problem of poverty is surfacing along with the commercialization of housing. In this study, we've analyzed China's social security system through literature at home and abroad based on the concept of place poverty, and have pointed out the characteristics and problems of Chinese urban housing reform centered around what we've identified. Furthermore, we've divided up China into 8 zones, and have examine the characteristic of each area by population & social index, economic index, and housing index. As a result of analysis, the process of urban housing reform had an effect on housing poverty, and appeared to have different characteristics by zone. In this study, since China's situation by area is very diverse, it presents a point that we must approach with not a monistic method but a pluralistic method regarding housing policy.

  • The emergence of knowledge-sharing live streamers provides more diversified content to the live streaming platform. Analysis of the factors affecting the intention to use knowledge sharing live streaming users can allow the live streaming platform to understand better the adoption characteristics of users who follow this type of content. Help platform operators provide better services and help live streaming platforms innovate. Based on the TAM model, this research uses questionnaire surveys and structural equation models to construct a conceptual model of the influencing factors of users' intentions in the knowledge sharing live streaming and conduct an empirical analysis on the influencing factor models. The results of data analysis show that a significant influence of users' attitudes of knowledge sharing live streaming is perceived usefulness, followed by flow experience; perceived value has a positive impact on users' attitudes and intention to use, and the positive influence of users attitude significantly affect the user's intention.
